Abstract

The use of learning media is a necessity for teachers in Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) areas, however, the lack of knowledge and skills in making learning media is an important problem. Therefore, a teacher needs to produce learning media that is interesting, easy, and motivates students to learn so that there is an increase in learning outcomes. The purpose of this community service is that teachers can add skill and insight into making Pop-Up Book products. The method used is Community Based Research (CBR) which is carried out in the form of socialization activities about Pop-Up Book and accompanied by demonstrations or pilot demonstrations or pilots to produce Pop-Up Book products. The result of this PKM activity is that the teacher produces a Pop-Up Book and provides an assessment of the usefulness of PKM activities, which is very useful. The result obtained can be concluded that the result of the service is very useful for Christian Religious Education teachers. The hope in this activity is that this PKM activity will continue to be carried out to assist teachers in developing useful development products in learning activities.

Abstract

The remains of NTT woven fabrics are generally thrown away and not utilized by the community in Kupang Regency. Reusing these remains into various accessories has many uses, which shows that the remains can play a good role if managed in products with a selling value. The purpose of this community service is to improve the skills of pastors in utilizing waste cloth into accessories that have high selling value so that they can pass on this knowledge to the congregation, hoping to improve the economy of the community in Kupang Regency. This service method uses community-based research (CBR) by the service team and partners. The team carried out PKM activities according to the predetermined schedule: August 31 - September 1, 2023. The results of community service activities obtained through activity utilization sheets by distributing questionnaires containing 14 statements to 15 participants showed that 13 participants stated that they were very satisfied with this activity, 86.7%, and two other participants chose the satisfied category with a percentage of 13.3%. This activity is considered very beneficial for pastors in the East Kupang Classis. It is hoped that there will be more in-depth training related to making earrings with the latest models and characteristics so that they can be registered with HKI and need to be continued with business management training.

Abstract

Di tengah tantangan kehidupan modern, kepala sekolah dan guru di Sekolah Menengah Teologi Kristen diharapkan tidak hanya menjalankan fungsi administratif tetapi juga menjadi pemimpin rohani yang mendampingi siswa dalam pembentukan spiritual. Pembentukan spiritual di sini merujuk pada proses yang mendukung siswa untuk bertumbuh dalam karakter dan iman Kristiani, sesuai dengan prinsip yang diuraikan oleh Wilhoit (1997) tentang pentingnya pembinaan spiritual. Tantangan pribadi yang dihadapi siswa, seperti masalah keluarga, ekonomi, dan kesejahteraan emosional, menjadikan dukungan spiritual dari para pemimpin SMTK sangat penting. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk memahami peran pemimpin Kristen dalam pembentukan spiritual siswa di SMTK Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin Kristen di SMTK Kota Kupang menjalankan perannya sebagai pembimbing rohani dengan bertanggung jawab dalam pembentukan spiritual siswa. Peran ini diwujudkan melalui kegiatan seperti doa bersama, refleksi firman Tuhan, dan integrasi nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam pengajaran sehari-hari.
