Abstract

Based on the results of the interviews, information was found that the building of the congregation's faith and the physical construction of the church were issues faced by the GMIT Efata Oetfo congregation. The building of the faith of the congregation in question is related to the ministry, among others: 1). The absence of categorical worship of the fathers; 2). The absence of youth categorical worship; 3). Mothers are less active in categorical worship. The physical development in question is related to the completion of the construction of the church building, in this case the installation of ceramics that has not been carried out. Responding to these issues, the PKM implementation team conducted a needs analysis and found a solution to the problem, namely by conducting seminars and installing ceramics. The objectives to be achieved in this PKM activity are: 1). PKM participants can gain some knowledge as a form of education that can open their horizons of thinking about the importance of building faith through worship in service. The participants were also able to gain some knowledge about the role of the church in the economic empowerment of the congregation as a strategic way to increase the income of the congregation; 2). The church building of the GMIT Efata Oetfo congregation is progressing. The method of implementing the activity consists of several stages, namely: 1). Welcoming and reception of the congregation; 2). Opening; 3) Implementation of Seminar Activities; 4). Implementation of Ceramic Installation Activities; 5). Closing; 6). Activity Evaluation.

Abstract

The work discipline of teachers could be seen in adherence to rules, school governance, and universal social values. Work motivation as a driving factor that encourages a teacher to carry out their duties  professionally and responsibly. The combination of these two variables will have a positive impact on performance.The problem of this research is formulated as follow: (1) To what extent does work discipline affect teacher performance? (2) To what extent does work motivation influence teacher performance? (3) To what extent both work discipline and work motivation influence teacher performance? This research  involved 99 teachers in 7 schools in Lamboya District, West Sumba Regency as the sample. Data collection techniques consist of questionnaires and documentation, analyzed by multiple regression and analysis of effective and relative contributions. the work discipline variable, work motivation simultaneously influences teacher performance. the calculated F test value of 58.518 with the sig parameter 0.05 seemed to be a linear pattern. The multiple regression equation is known: Y = 11.171 + 0.186X1 + 1.062X2. The total effective contribution both work discipline and work motivation is 54.9%.

Abstract

Alasan memilih topik moderasi beragama, karena minimnya penghargaam agama tertentu terhadap yang lainnya. Kurangnya Kerjasama antar umat beragama dalam berinteraksi. Moderasi beragama penting untuk menciptakan harmoni dan kerukunan antara penganut agama yang berbeda. Dalam konteks masyarakat yang multikultural dan multireligi, moderasi beragama membantu mengurangi konflik, ketegangan, dan diskriminasi yang mungkin timbul. Metode yang dipakai adalah ceramah, tanya jawab dan tindak lanjut. Moderasi beragama mendorong pemahaman agama yang holistik dan seimbang. Ini melibatkan penekanan pada nilai-nilai universal seperti kasih sayang, keadilan, dan perdamaian, sambil menghindari penafsiran yang sempit atau ekstremistik.

Abstract

The aim of community service activities is related to explaining the duties and functions of teachers. Strengthening the roles and responsibilities of teachers serving children and adolescents is a crucial action in ensuring the continuity of their education and optimal development. Teachers are still hampered by a lack of tools and understanding of teaching creativity. Methods for implementing services, discussing and practicing. Interact with children to convey the goals and themes in storytelling activities. From the results of community service activities, it can be concluded that generally they are able to implement pop up books with puppet shows on stage. The teacher reveals about story development. The teacher emphasizes communication strategies that can affect children's emotions.

Abstract

The use of learning media is a necessity for teachers in Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) areas, however, the lack of knowledge and skills in making learning media is an important problem. Therefore, a teacher needs to produce learning media that is interesting, easy, and motivates students to learn so that there is an increase in learning outcomes. The purpose of this community service is that teachers can add skill and insight into making Pop-Up Book products. The method used is Community Based Research (CBR) which is carried out in the form of socialization activities about Pop-Up Book and accompanied by demonstrations or pilot demonstrations or pilots to produce Pop-Up Book products. The result of this PKM activity is that the teacher produces a Pop-Up Book and provides an assessment of the usefulness of PKM activities, which is very useful. The result obtained can be concluded that the result of the service is very useful for Christian Religious Education teachers. The hope in this activity is that this PKM activity will continue to be carried out to assist teachers in developing useful development products in learning activities.

Abstract

The Sara Douda dance is a form of oral tradition cultural art that combines movement elements from original Loli dance accompanied by energetic traditional music, namely gongs and drums, as a powerful medium for expressing the experience of faith, namely gratitude to the Almighty for giving His blessings of life to the Loli community. Sara Douda is full of verbal and non-verbal symbols, rich in meaning, messages and cultural values ​​for the Loli community, used for social interaction and also as an expression of faith in the Most High. The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the nature, form and meaning of Sara Douda cultural symbols as a form of expression of art, culture and faith of the Loli community in the study of Contextual Theology. This study uses qualitative methods and is analyzed narratively which shows that Sara Douda is a cultural symbol of the Loli people and also a symbol of their faith. Religious symbols allow individuals access to Divine reality and expression. their experience of faith in a cultural context. The verbal and nonverbal symbols in Sara Douda show the Loli Community's faith and belief in God, the Creator of heaven and earth as in the expression Ama wolo Ama rawi. Their offerings of praise and thanksgiving are expressed through poetry in the form of verses and lines as well as beautiful dances from time to time, from generation to generation until now contextual in social life.

Abstract

The Indonesian state has made Pancasila the state ideology so that every person from any religious background has the same and equal rights to embrace a particular religious belief without any element of coercion. However, in reality, it is still found that there are acts of discrimination carried out by members of society from the majority religious group against members of minority religions. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of social justice values ​​for minority groups who experience religious discrimination in Indonesia. The research method used is literature study sourced from books, articles, journals, and theories relevant to the study topic. The data was analyzed descriptively by explaining the results that the discrimination experienced by religious minorities in Indonesia by the majority is a multidimensional challenge that shows the existence of unequal rights behavior experienced by minority groups such as difficulties in freedom of worship, weak legal protection, and limited access to resources or public services. Every society needs to uphold the spirit of tolerance and strengthen anti-religious discrimination attitudes. This effort requires synergy between government, civil society, religious leaders and educational institutions to build a culture that respects plurality. The application of social justice values ​​in the context of religious discrimination in Indonesia is not only important for creating social harmony but is also a fundamental step in maintaining the integrity of the nation.

Abstract

Kepala Sekolah sebagai salah satu komponen penting dalam terselenggaranya aktifitas pendidikan di sekolah secara baik dan lancar. Dibutuhkan pola kepemimpinan yang tepat oleh Kepala Sekolah sehingga mampu menciptakan terwujudnya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Dalam konteks tersebut, SMP N 2 Lamboya juga memiliki Kepala Sekolah yang menjalankan pola kepemimpinan dengan berbagai bentuk pendekatan yang bertujuan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas mengenai kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 2 Lamboya Sumba Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan mewawancarai 1 orang Kepala Sekolah dan 6 orang guru (berinisial: AM, NH, DT, FU, LR, YB) dari berbagai bidang keilmuan. Adapun indikator wawancara dikembangkan dari pola EMASLIM (edukator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader, inovator, motivator). Data kemudian dianalisis secara reduktif yaitu dengan merangkum, memilih hal-hal yang pokok, memfokuskan pada hal-hal substansial dengan informasi yang diperlukan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini dikemukakan bahwa kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah secara konsisten telah menerapkan pendekatan EMASLIM (edukator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader, inovator, motivator) untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 2 Lamboya. Hal tersebut dikuatkan oleh informasi yang disampaikan oleh guru AM, NH, DT, FU, LR, YB bahwa meskipun terdapat berbagai tantangan dan permasalahan dilapangan, namun Kepala Sekolah tetap secara sabar dan konsisten mengupayakan supaya SMP Negeri 2 Lamboya juga memiliki daya saing yang tinggi.

Abstract

This research is the absence of the congregation in household worship and the presbyter does not give attention or motivation to the congregation to attend household worship. The purpose of this study was to determine the presbyter's commitment to household worship, the presbyter's performance in household worship services. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The sample data sources for this research were 14 presbyters, 1 pastor and 7 congregations as subjects. The results of the study show that the presbyter is often late in carrying out household worship and often postpones the worship schedule. The presbyter at the Pniel Koka Church congregation did not carry out their commitment properly in accepting the duties and responsibilities as presbyter. Suggestions to the presbyter should build a new commitment within, encourage the congregation, summarize, and guide the congregation to be faithful in worship. This is because in this study household worship was not active in terms of the presence of the congregation and presbyter.AbstrakPenelitian ini adalah tidak hadirnya jemaat dalam ibadah rumah tangga dan presbiter tidak memberikan perhatian  atau motivasi kepada jemaat untuk hadir dalam ibadah rumah tangga. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komitmen presbiter dalam ibadah rumah tangga, kinerja presbiter dalam pelayanan ibadah rumah tangga. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel sumber data penelitian ini adalah subyek 14 orang presbiter, subyek 1 orang pendeta dan subyek 7 orang jemaat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa presbiter sering terlambat dalam melaksanakan ibadah rumah tangga dan sering menundakan jadwal ibadah. Presbiter di jemaat Gereja Pniel Koka tidak menjalankan komitmen dengan baik dalam menerima tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai presbiter. Saran kepada presbiter hendaknya membangun komitmen yang baru dalam diri, memberi semangat kepada jemaat, merangkum, dan membimbing jemaat untuk setia dalam beribadah. Sebab dalam penelitian ini ibadah rumah tangga berjalan secara kurang aktif dilihat dari kehadiran jemaat maupun presbiter.
