Abstract

This study examined student creativity in using audio-visual media in material presentation in class. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. It is a case study research conducted on first-semester students of the PIAUD study program at STAIN Mandailing Natal. In this study, the research data was students' usage of learning media obtained from students and lecturers. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the students' use of learning media increased their creativity, with the lecturers only providing themes, input, and directions. The students designed and compiled learning videos for the lecture processed their creativity, generated new ideas, and created innovation to make the learning more interesting and to add insight into science and technology. In addition, students' use of learning media increased their creativity and generated ideas on what materials to use for their videos; as a result, the media could be put to good use, and the lectures could run more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memberikan solusi terkait dampak sosial ekonomi industri kelapa sawit terhadap masyarakat di sekitarnya, terutama dalam konteks kesenjangan sosial ekonomi. Penelitian dan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang fenomena ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk merancang kebijakan yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan, serta upaya untuk mengurangi kesenjangan sosial ekonomi yang ada. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research), jenis penelitian yang dipilih adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sosiologi (sociological approach) dan pendekatan kasus (case approach). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini perlu dilakukan beberapa hal; pertama; untuk mencapai keadilan sosial dan ekonomi, penting untuk mengatasi ketimpangan dalam kepemilikan lahan dengan cara yang adil dan berkelanjutan. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan pendistribusian lahan oleh pemerintah untuk di sewa atau digunakan kepada masyarakat. Kedua; untuk mengatasi mahalnya biaya pembukaan lahan dan perawatan kelapa sawit, ada beberapa langkah yang dapat diambil. Salah satunya adalah melalui pendekatan berbasis agroekologi dan memberikan subsidi untuk pembukaan dan pengelolaan lahan pertanian. Ketiga; untuk mengatasi masalah permodalan dan informasi yang terbatas, hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan kolaborasi berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pemerintah, lembaga keuangan, lembaga riset pertanian, dan organisasi masyarakat sipil. Salah satu langkah yang dapat diambil adalah menyediakan akses yang lebih luas dan terjangkau terhadap kredit dan pinjaman untuk petani kecil dan pemilik lahan yang ingin terlibat dalam industri kelapa sawit. Pemerintah juga harus menyiapkan satu platform yang terpercaya, teruji, dan lengkap sehingga dapat diakses oleh semua pihak. Platform digital ini dapat diakses melalui aplikasi smartphone ataupun website, yang berisi informasi tentang harga pasar, ketersediaan pupuk dan obat, praktik pertanian yang baik, pelatihan dan pendidikan, dan pengumuman lainnya secara real-time. Ini dapat membantu mengatasi hambatan geografis dan infrastruktur yang mungkin menghambat akses masyarakat lokal terhadap informasi.

Abstract

Changing values and priorities in urban societies affect interest and preference for religious education, with many Tahfidz schools becoming an increasingly popular option in response to changing social, cultural, and economic dynamics. The purpose of this study is to look at the preferences of parents of urban communities in choosing schools for their children in terms of social life and the challenges they face. This research is a qualitative research, which uses a sociology approach and a historical approach as an approach to explore the phenomenon that affects the interests and preferences of parents in choosing a school for their children. The results of this study show that parents choose tahfidz schools to increase their children's religiosity, hope for blessings, and rewards of the Qur'an. Other factors such as excellent programs, facilities, and education costs, also influence their decision. The challenges that parents face are time limitations, costs, children's social adjustment, and psychological challenges.

Abstract

Chapters 96 and 97 of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) state that widows and widowers, whether due to death or divorce, are entitled to half of the marital property, unless otherwise specified in a marriage agreement. This textual interpretation is often applied rigidly, resulting in potential injustices. This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of family contributions and commitments on the distribution of marital property. Employing a legal approach, this research analyzes judges' considerations in making legal decisions. The findings indicate that family contributions significantly influence judicial decisions on the division of marital assets. For instance, in case number 298/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Kdl, differing contributions from the husband and wife led the judge to deviate from the standard 50:50 division of property. Judges performed contra legem (deviations from the law) by using legal discovery efforts (rechtvinding) with a maslahah approach and considering the legis ratio to ensure justice and fairness. Conversely, in case number 53/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Gtlo, a party's violation of family commitments was not factored into the judge's decision to reduce their share of the marital property. Traditionally, infidelity could affect the division of joint property. It is suggested that judges consider traditional laws to potentially reduce the share of those violating family commitments, ensuring more equitable outcomes
