Abstract

This journal article aims to discuss the effectiveness of school principals in making decisions regarding professional teacher performance in order to increase student success at school. The data collection technique in this journal uses the method used is library research, in this case the effectiveness of the school principal, namely; 1) able to empower teachers to carry out the learning process well, smoothly and productively, 2) able to complete assignments and work according to the specified time, 3) able to establish harmonious relationships with the community so that they can actively involve them in realizing school goals and education, 4) successfully implementing leadership principles that are appropriate to the maturity level of teachers and other employees at the school, 5) working with the management team, and 6) successfully realizing school goals in a productive manner in accordance with established provisions. For this reason, the effectiveness of the principal's leadership is very important in improving the quality and achievements of the school.

Abstract

Implementing a systems approach in improving school management is an effort that aims to design, manage and optimize all components involved in school operations as an integrated system. This approach allows the school to operate as an integrated entity, focusing on various interrelated components.This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection instrument namely through (1) observation, (2) interviews and (3) documentation. The implementation of a systems approach in improving the management of SMA Negeri 7 Binjai shows that this approach has great potential to bring positive changes in school management. By implementing a systems approach, schools can better manage resources, teachers, and students to improve the quality of education and learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber literatur, termasuk jurnal ilmiah, buku, laporan kebijakan, dan dokumen resmi yang relevan dengan topik kebijakan pendidikan digital. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi implementasi, tantangan, dan peluang dalam penerapan kebijakan pendidikan berbasis digital.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is a scientific discipline that examines how individuals exchange messages, thoughts, and emotions, facilitating relationships and mutual understanding. This journal article explores how the interpersonal communication process works, with the research method being a literature review, collecting information from scientific journals, books, and credible online sources. The findings contribute to the development of new communication models, particularly in urban societies where diverse cultures and social norms complicate interactions. The study’s practical implications highlight the importance of improving social relationships by understanding the dynamics of communication, including how to adapt to modern challenges such as technology and multiculturalism. By providing insights into effective communication strategies, this research aims to enhance personal and professional interactions, conflict resolution, and community cohesion in the contemporary world.

Abstract

This study examines the role of principal leadership in fostering a culture of quality education at SMP IT Mutiara. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the transformational leadership strategies implemented by the principal in building a conducive learning environment through data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and notes. The findings of the study indicate that the principal plays a strategic role in shaping a culture of quality education through various integrated strategies, including mentoring and developing teacher professionalism, and encouraging active participation from all school members. Despite facing challenges such as rejection from senior teachers towards new teaching methods, budget constraints, and the balance between academic achievement and Islamic character development, the principal overcomes these obstacles through his visionary, communicative, and focused leadership. The positive impact of developing a culture of quality education can be seen from the increasing quality of graduates accepted at the selected school, the increasing professionalism of teachers, and the high achievement of students in both academic and non-academic fields. This study confirms that the leadership of the principal is not merely administrative, but is a driving force for educational transformation that drives all departments in the school to provide the best educational services.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kelompok 89 di Desa Sidumulio berfokus pada sosialisasi program Posyandu untuk mencegah stunting. Stunting adalah masalah gizi yang membuat anak-anak tumbuh pendek. Kami melakukan penelitian di dua Posyandu: Mawar dan Kamboja. Tujuan kami adalah membuat masyarakat lebih paham tentang bahaya stunting dan pentingnya Posyandu. Kami melakukan pengamatan, wawancara, dan memberikan penyuluhan. Hasilnya, masyarakat jadi lebih tahu tentang stunting dan lebih rajin datang ke Posyandu. Stunting adalah masalah gizi jangka panjang yang masih mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia. Dalam upaya mencegah stunting di Posyandu Mawar dan Kamboja di Desa Sidumulio, penelitian ini menyelidiki proses sosialisasi program Posyandu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif dan melibatkan observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai cara telah digunakan untuk menyebarkan program Posyandu, tetapi masih ada masalah seperti pemahaman masyarakat yang kurang dan partisipasi yang kurang. Ada bukti bahwa pendekatan kreatif seperti pelibatan tokoh masyarakat dan penggunaan media sosial berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat. Menurut penelitian ini, untuk memaksimalkan peran Posyandu dalam pencegahan stunting, strategi sosialisasi harus diperbaiki dan kolaborasi lintas sektor diperkuat.

Abstract

Mutu pendidikan yang baik salah satu cara yang biasa dilakukan adalah untuk memajukan proses sedang belajar. Memajukan proses pembelajaran itu berarti mengoptimalkan segala macam komponen yang berhubungan dengan proses. Mutu pendidikan kini menjadi suatu tantangan dalam dunia pendidikan, karena dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas sekolah, maka upaya yang harus dilakukan terkait dengan meningkatkan kualitas sekolah melalui peran perilaku organisasi. Sebab perilaku organisasi merupakan suatu bidang studi yang menyelidiki pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh individu, kelompok, dan struktur terhadap perilaku manusia dengan tujuan menerapkan pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas organisasi. Perilaku sebagai bagian dari budaya organisasi hanya dapat dimengerti apabila hal yang ada dibalik pemikiran subjek yang diteliti dapat dipahami.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam menerapkan strategi pendidikan guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 101776 Sampali. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terfokus terhadap implementasi strategi pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah. Hasil penelitian menyoroti strategi kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam merancang, mengkomunikasikan, dan mengawasi langkah-langkah pedagogis. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan tentang dampak langsung kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di tingkat dasar, memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan praktik kepemimpinan yang lebih efektif di konteks pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Educational ethics is a moral foundation in developing students' character. In this context, teachers are responsible for guiding students not only in academic aspects, but also in ethical values, integrity and social responsibility. Educational ethics includes the development of positive attitudes, morality, and interpersonal skills, all of which are important for forming a balanced person and contributing positively to society. In this process, teachers must pay attention to moral principles, justice and empathy in order to create a learning environment that supports the growth of good character in students. Teachers need to be role models in implementing ethical values, along with providing thought-provoking teaching. critical and moral reflection on students. The application of educational ethics also includes fair treatment of all students, without discrimination based on background or ability. In addition, learning should promote respect for diversity of cultures and views, helping students understand universal values, such as tolerance and cooperation. The importance of educational ethics lies in the formation of strong character in students, so that they can become responsible citizens and have integrity. In an ever-changing global context, teachers need to continually update their approaches in line with relevant ethical values to ensure that education is not just about knowledge, but also the formation of good character for future generations
