Abstract

The Internet of Things (Internet of Things ), also known as the connectivity of various physical objects to the internet for autonomous data exchange, has become an integral part of human life. Its impact extends beyond the conventional use of smartphones for social media, influencing diverse aspect of daily activities. This research focuses on exploring the extent to which women in the city of Manado engage with Internet of Things . Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, with theory of utilization and using phenomenological methods, the study utilizes a Combination Purposive sampling technique based on the analysis of individuals actively involved in various activity (Patton, 2002). Both secondary and primary data sources are employed with the researcher serving as the primary instrument. Initially, ten informants were selected, but to enhance information gathering, an online platform survey was distributed, resulting in responses from twenty one informants. The study reveals that women in Manado extensively leverage Internet of Things technology, particularly through Internet of Things – based application on smartphones, while also utilizing devices in their artificial environments due to their availability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and understand the results of the Implementation of Employee Income Supplement Policy in Improving Employee Performance Through Performance Reports at the Tomohon City Human Resources Staffing and Development Agency and to find out the problems and solutions used in overcoming the problems that occur. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods are carried out by triangulation (combined), and are inductive. The use of qualitative research methods is due to the fact that in analyzing the results of the research is descriptive or describing with interview measurement tools. In general, the results of this research are as follows: The implementation of the Employee Income Supplement policy in improving employee performance through performance reports at BKPSDM Tomohon City has not been effective, this is based on the results of the study it can be seen that of the 5 aspects of employee performance assessment, namely service orientation, integrity, commitment, cooperation, work discipline, only integrity, commitment, and cooperation, which get good ratings, while aspects of service orientation and discipline get sufficient ratings, meaning that employee performance in terms of service orientation and work discipline is still low and needs to be further improved.

Abstract

Masih banyak ibu-ibu yang menggunakan smartphone hanya sebatas fasilitas untuk mempermudah berkomunikasi jarak jauh, hanya untuk menggunakan media sosial, dan sebatas alat mencari informasi di google. Padahal smartphone menawarkan banyak aplikasi yang mempermudah ibu-ibu PKK dalam aktifitas kehidupan sehari-hari bahkan mengerjakan beberapa hal dalam waktu bersamaan (multitasking), juga memberi manfaat dan peluang meningkatkan penghasilan. Melalui sosialisai dan pelatihan Penggunaan Aplikasi Berbasis Internet of Things, yaitu Aplikasi Penunjuk Arah, Aplikasi Kesehatan, Aplikasi Belanja, Aplikasi Transportasi, dan Dompet Digital pada kelompok ibu-ibu PKK Kecamatan Tikala melalui metode Wawancara, Ceramah, Tanya Jawab, Pelatihan, Praktek dan Pendampingan Ketrampilan Penggunaan Aplikasi Berbasis Internet of Things, maka kemampuan ibu-ibu PKK Kecamatan Tikala Kota Manado dalam menggunakan aplikasi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) semakin meningkat dan memberikan manfaat Pengetahuan, yaitu: Pertama, Meningkatkan pemahaman tentang penggunaan aplikasi Internet of Things (IoT). yang ada di ponsel semakin meningkat. Sudah mengetahui mafaat penggunaan Internet of Things (IoT) pada ibu-ibu PKK yang menggunakan smartphone sudah tidak lagi terbatas untuk bermedia sosial, tapi sudah bisa menggunakan aplikasi- aplikasi yang ada didalamnya. Dan sudah mengetahui aplikasi-aplikasi apa saja yang ada di smartphone, sehingga mempermudah aktifitas kehidupan sehari-hari bahkan mengerjakan beberapa hal dalam waktu bersamaan (multitasking), juga memberi manfaat menghemat biaya. Kedua, manfaat Ketrampilan, yaitu Ibu-Ibu PKK Kecamatan Tikala Kota Manado sudah lebih trampil menggunakan Internet of Things (IoT), seperti: Aplikasi Penunjuk Arah, Aplikasi Kesehatan, Aplikasi Belanja, Aplikasi Transportasi, dan Dompet Digital.
