Abstract

This study aims to implement POAC by the Regional Government of Maros Regency in terms of managing parking taxes originating from Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Maros and an overview of the amount of parking tax contributions originating from Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in supporting the PAD of the Maros Regency Government. The source of the data in this study is the data needed is sourced from the internal government of Maros Regency, in this case at the Office of the Regional Revenue and Finance Management Agency (BPKPD) of Maros Regency. With a research period of 6 (six) months from January to June 2021. The analytical method used in this study is POAC, Contribution of taxes to PAD and describes parking tax management and its contribution to PAD of the Maros Regency Government based on observations of the use of POAC principles. The results of this study were that the Maros Regency Government in managing parking tax revenues originating from the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Maros had worked based on the POAC principle (Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling). The results of the observations show that: Planning, the implementation is not interpreted optimally, Organizing, the implementation is interpreted quite well but not optimal, Actuating, the implementation is interpreted in a good category. Controlling, the implementation is interpreted in good category. And the parking tax contribution of Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Maros in supporting Maros Regency's Original Revenue is an average of 4.9% in the 2015 - 2019 period.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, work experience, and work environment on employee performance in the context of management. The data used are the results of research from 20 economic journals investigated, as well as previous journal reviews to enhance data accuracy. The research findings indicate that work motivation, which includes intrinsic and extrinsic factors, significantly impacts employee performance. Intrinsic factors, such as the drive to achieve organizational goals, sense of responsibility, and recognition of achievements, as well as extrinsic factors, such as financial incentives, influence employees' work motivation. Employees who feel motivated intrinsically and extrinsically tend to demonstrate better performance. In addition to motivation, work experience also influences employee performance. Work experience enables employees to gain the knowledge and skills needed to perform tasks effectively. The more experienced someone is, the more competent they are in performing their tasks. The work environment also plays a crucial role in determining employee performance. Factors such as cleanliness, comfort, adequate facilities, good communication, and positive interpersonal relationships affect employee productivity. Employees working in a supportive environment tend to demonstrate better performance and dedication to their work. These findings emphasize the importance of human resource management in improving employee performance and productivity. By understanding the factors that influence work motivation, work experience, and work environment, companies can create a supportive environment for overall organizational growth and success. The practical implications of this research are that human resource managers need to consider these factors in designing motivation programs, employee development, and workplace design. In the context of increasingly fierce business competition, understanding and optimizing these factors can be a competitive advantage for companies. By implementing the right strategies in managing work motivation, work experience, and work environment, companies can improve employee performance and productivity, ultimately supporting the achievement of organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the influence of each variable of work ability, work motivation, and principles of work procedures on employee performance in the Regional Secretariat of Sinjai Regency. The type of research used is quantitative with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 97 employees. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the proposed hypothesis. The results of the study indicate that 1) Work ability has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 2) Work motivation has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, and 3) Work procedures have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze HR management strategies to improve productivity, and determine and analyze the right strategy in HR management to improve its productivity at Yapika General Hospital, Gowa Regency. This study is designed to direct strategic decisions of HR management in an effort to improve its productivity. Strategic decisions in this study include internal and external environmental analysis. Data analysis techniques use IFAS, EFAS, TOWS, and QSPM. The results of the study indicate that the right strategy in human resource management to improve employee productivity at RSU Yapika Gowa Regency is to build strategic partnerships with Puskesmas in the surrounding area to strengthen health services collaboratively with the reason to create synergy in delivering health services collaboratively so that employees can work more efficiently and focused; increasing the capacity of human resources who can get training and skills development from collaboration with Puskesmas to improve HR competency which leads to increased productivity; through collaboration, the quality of health services provided can be improved because human resources who feel that they are part of a larger system tend to be more motivated and committed to their work; this partnership allows access to additional resources, such as medical devices and the latest information on health practices that can help human resources in carrying out their duties better; partnerships with Puskesmas allow RSU Yapika to be more responsive to the health needs of the community because human resources involved in programs that have a direct impact on the community will feel higher job satisfaction.

Abstract

Education has a very important role in shaping young people into competitive and innovative individuals, especially in the context of an increasingly complex and rapidly changing global economy. Entrepreneurial spirit is the ability of individuals to identify opportunities, take measured risks, and develop ideas into valuable innovations for society. This research aims to examine the role of education in encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation. The current research type is qualitative. Data collection techniques include listening and recording important information to conduct data analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study results show that the role of education in encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation is very important in facing challenges and rapid economic change. Education has the responsibility to provide relevant entrepreneurial skills, create a supportive environment, and remove the negative stigma towards failure. In addition, education should also reinforce ethical values and social responsibility and integrate technology to enhance learning effectiveness. Social entrepreneurship and inclusiveness should also be part of education to create positive social impact and equality of opportunity for all.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji sinkronisasi antara roadmap pengembangan pertanian berkelanjutan dengan kelayakan usaha ternak ayam di Sulawesi Selatan. Sektor peternakan ayam, sebagai kontributor vital bagi perekonomian lokal, menghadapi tantangan dalam menyelaraskan pertumbuhan dengan prinsip keberlanjutan. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian campuran (mixed methods), mengintegrasikan data primer melalui survei 120 peternak ayam (kuantitatif) dan wawancara mendalam serta Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan 20 pemangku kepentingan (kualitatif). Selain itu, penelitian ini diperkuat oleh Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mensintesis bukti-bukti dari literatur yang relevan. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah menganalisis tingkat sinkronisasi antara roadmap dan kelayakan usaha ternak ayam, mengidentifikasi faktor penghambat dan pendorong implementasi praktik berkelanjutan, serta merumuskan rekomendasi kebijakan yang terintegrasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa roadmap, meskipun secara konseptual baik, belum tersinkronisasi secara efektif dengan realitas operasional dan kelayakan ekonomi usaha ternak ayam. Secara kuantitatif, usaha ternak ayam menunjukkan profitabilitas positif (R/C ratio 1.25-1.40), namun sangat rentan terhadap fluktuasi harga pakan (yang mendominasi 60-70% biaya produksi). Kerentanan ini, ditambah dengan kebutuhan investasi awal yang tinggi, menyebabkan tingkat adopsi praktik berkelanjutan seperti pengelolaan limbah atau kandang modern masih sangat rendah (10-20%), terhambat oleh kendala biaya investasi tinggi (>90% peternak menganggap biaya sebagai hambatan utama). Dari analisis kualitatif dan SLR, terungkap bahwa mayoritas peternak tidak familiar dengan detail roadmap, mengindikasikan kurangnya sosialisasi dan relevansi kebijakan di tingkat tapak. Selain itu, minimnya insentif, akses terbatas pada informasi dan pembiayaan yang mudah, serta lemahnya koordinasi lintas sektor turut memperparah kesenjangan sinkronisasi ini. Kajian ini merekomendasikan penyesuaian program dalam roadmap agar lebih adaptif dan realistis terhadap kondisi dan kapasitas peternak, penciptaan skema insentif yang lebih menarik, peningkatan akses terhadap informasi dan teknologi berkelanjutan, serta penguatan koordinasi antar-lembaga untuk mewujudkan pertanian berkelanjutan yang efektif dan ekonomis di Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the influence of organizational culture, work spirit and job satisfaction on employee performance at the public broadcasting institution TVRI South Sulawesi. This type of research is quantitative with data collection techniques using questionnaires through 140 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques and partial hypothesis testing is carried out. The results of the study indicate that organizational culture, work spirit and job satisfaction each have a significant influence on employee performance at the Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP) TVRI South Sulawesi with a 95% confidence level.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, organizational performance is highly dependent on the quality of human resources. In order to achieve its strategic goals, organizations such as BPJS Employment require employees who have high competence, skills and competitiveness to improve their performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of competence, human resource development and organizational culture on the performance of employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Makassar City. This study used a quantitative method involving 77 respondents, whose data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS V.24 software. The results showed that employee competence has a positive but insignificant effect on performance, while human resource development and organizational culture each showed a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a confidence level of 95%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of land area, production, price on the income of shallot farmers in Tampo Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency. This study uses a type of quantitative research. The research data were obtained from distributing questionnaires (primary) and several observations and direct interviews with related parties, namely farmers in Tampo Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that production and prices simultaneously had a significant effect on the income of farmers in Batu Noni Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency. Partially, it shows that land area has a positive and significant effect on shallot farmer income, production has a positive and significant effect on shallot farmer income and price has a positive and significant effect on shallot farmer income in Tampo Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi informasi dan pemahaman mengenai peran pustakawan digital bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Perpustakaan Universitas Sam Ratulangi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 14 September 2024 dan melibatkan 81 peserta yang terdiri atas mahasiswa, dosen, serta alumni. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup kuliah umum bertema The Role of Librarian in Digital Era, Lomba Katalog Buku, dan Lomba Storytelling Literasi Informasi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test dengan sepuluh item skala Likert lima tingkat serta rubrik penilaian lomba skala 1–5. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui perhitungan rata-rata, persentase, dan selisih skor. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman literasi informasi dari skor rata-rata 58 pada pre-test menjadi 84 pada post-test, atau meningkat sebesar 44,8%. Sebanyak 79% peserta mampu mengidentifikasi peran pustakawan digital setelah kegiatan, meningkat dari 36% sebelum kegiatan. Pada Lomba Katalog Buku, 70% peserta mencapai kategori “baik” dan “sangat baik,” sedangkan pada Lomba Storytelling, 67% peserta memperoleh skor tinggi dalam aspek kejelasan pesan dan kreativitas. Indikator tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan kompetensi teknis pengatalogan, keterampilan komunikasi informasi, dan pemahaman digital librarianship. Secara akademik, program ini memberikan model implementasi literasi informasi berbasis kuliah umum dan asesmen kreatif yang dapat direplikasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran maupun pengabdian di bidang ilmu perpustakaan
