The Indonesian Goverment's Strategy in Maintaining and Increasing UAE Investment Interset in 2015-2022 Mukin, Sahmun Karihan; Putra, Alde Mulia

Abstract

In maintaining the interest of UAE investment in Indonesia, the government and the President made various efforts to maintain this trust. Before heading to the main discussion, namely maintaining investment interest, President Jokowi and the government visited the UAE from 2015 to 2022. President Jokowi, chose the UAE as a visited country for various strong reasons in it which include the wealth owned by the UAE state and the activity of the UAE state in the international world in terms of investment. Visit after visit made by President Jokowi created good results and created various agreements, one of which was IUEA-CEPA by using IKN as the main attraction of the Indonesian state in the eyes of investors. After successfully conducting economic diplomacy in the UAE, President Jokowi and the government know the shortcomings of the Indonesian state which can be an obstacle to the course of investment in Indonesia. In order to create a good investment climate, the government carries out various strategies and policies related to investment which can reduce various problems. These problems include; corruption, bureaucracy, and convoluted regulations. With various strategies that are considered successful, it has a major impact on the economic progress of the Indonesian state both in terms of infrastructure, economic development, and people's welfare (job creation). Looking at the lens of Islam, the strategies and efforts made by President Jokowi and the Indonesian government are considered as fair, and honest attitudes as well as good attitudes in maintaining trust. Please note, this research is quantitative by using theory as the basis for discussion. The theories used are theories relevant to this research including; Economic Diplomacy, and Stephen D Cohen's FDI theory. The data obtained in this study uses various sources including, documents, books, websites, social media (You tube), and statistical data obtained from the official website of the data owner (BUMN, BKPM, WorldBank, UNCTAD, and others) In maintaining the interest of UAE investment in Indonesia, the government and the President made various efforts to maintain this trust. Abstract

Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) memegang peranan penting dalam memajukan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Perkembangan era digitalisasi marketing, membuka wacana kepada pelaku ekonomi untuk memanfaatkan media daring (online) sebagai bagian dari peluang pasar yang lebih luas. Oleh sebab itu, pelaku ekonomi dituntut melakukan kerja sama dan terobosan agar produknya sampai kepada konsumen dengan cepat dan luas. Strategi pendampingan menjadi program utama yang diangkat oleh tim Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kelompok 2 Universitas Darussalam Gontor sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM. Metode pelaksanaan pendampingan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Adapun bentuk kegiatan utama pendampingan yaitu: 1) pendampingan bisnis usaha UMKM melalui re-branding produk; 2) pengembangan produksi dan pemasaran produk dalam menjangkau akses pasar lebih luas; 3) digitalisasi marketing: strategi pemasaran produk melalui media sosial. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya kenaikan omzet pendapatan penjualan yang cukup signifikan setelah adanya program pendampingan. Sebelumnya dalam setiap produksi, hanya diperlukan mentahan ketela sebanyak tiga kuintal. Setelah adanya program pendampingan meningkat menjadi enam kuintal. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pendampingan branding improvement dan digitalisasi marketing menunjukkan peningkatan produksi. Pertumbuhan omzet pendapatan penjualan produk meningkat sebanyak 90 persen, tentu juga didukung kontribusi pemasaran yang bertambah luas.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efforts made by Greenpeace in opposing food estate development. The method used in this research is qualitative method. This research uses a literature study approach. The data used in this research were obtained through scientific journals, theses, related articles, official websites, and documentation from related institutions. The data analysis technique used in this research uses data reduction techniques, the conceptual framework that author uses in this research is the concept of Environmental Non-Governmental Organization and the concept of non-violence. The results of this study show that in an effort to oppose the development of food estate in Indonesia, Greenpeace made efforts described by McCormick in the concept of environmental NGO. The efforts made by Greenpeace in opposing the development of food estates in indonesia are, collaboration with authorized local officials, conducting campaigns, utilizing the media as a means of disseminating campaigns, conducting research, and building public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental awareness. In addition, Greenpeace also uses a non-violent approach in its actions. This approach is carried out through two methods, protest and persuasion methods.

Abstract

The program that has been planned will run well in accordance with the objectives if during program implementation there is monitoring and evaluation. So far, many programs have not run well because the person in charge involved is less than optimal in implementing them, this is triggered by a lack of supervision and evaluation from the manager which leads to misappropriation/manipulation. Mayantara School is one of the non-formal institutions engaged in the language which in general has been fairly advanced because the applied programs have been implemented well, one of the programs at Mayantara School is the Foreign Language course. The purpose of the research is to identify supervision and evaluation at the Mayantara School. The method used is qualitative with the type of field research, to identify the Supervision and Evaluation of language programs at the Mayantara School. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. And the data were analysed using Miles and Huberman’s theory with data reducing steps, data display, and conclusion. From the research, it concluded that the supervision and evaluation of the language program at the Mayantara School course institution have been fully implemented, the language program was designed and written in the activity structure, a supervisory team within the institution was formed to directly monitor the course of activities, after that an evaluation consisting of three stages was carried out. Program yang telah direncanakan akan berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan apabila pada saat pelaksanaan program terdapat monitoring dan evaluasi. Selama ini banyak program yang tidak berjalan dengan baik karena penanggung jawab yang terlibat kurang optimal dalam melaksanakannya, hal ini dipicu oleh kurangnya pengawasan dan evaluasi dari pengelola sehingga berujung pada penyelewengan/manipulasi. Sekolah Mayantara merupakan salah satu lembaga nonformal yang bergerak di bidang bahasa yang secara umum sudah terbilang maju karena program-program yang diterapkan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, salah satu program yang ada di Sekolah Mayantara adalah kursus Bahasa Asing. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui supervisi dan evaluasi di Sekolah Mayantara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan, untuk mengidentifikasi Supervisi dan Evaluasi program bahasa di Sekolah Mayantara. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dan data dianalisis menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa supervisi dan evaluasi program bahasa pada lembaga kursus Sekolah Mayantara telah dilaksanakan secara penuh, program bahasa dirancang dan dituangkan dalam struktur kegiatan, dibentuk tim pengawas di dalam lembaga yang memantau langsung jalannya program. jalannya kegiatan, setelah itu dilakukan evaluasi yang terdiri dari tiga tahap. Keywords: Monitoring, Evaluation, Language program
