Abstract

This article presents a literature review on the impact of 5G technology advancements in accelerating Internet of Things (IoT) adoption and innovation in educational environments, particularly in higher education. 5G technology has brought significant changes in the digital ecosystem, offering faster, more reliable, and efficient connectivity. This literature review explores how 5G technology has driven the acceleration of IoT adoption and innovation in higher education in various aspects, such as teaching and learning, campus management, student services, and research and development. The review identifies several key benefits of 5G-enabled IoT integration in higher education, including improved operational efficiency, personalised services, increased student engagement, optimised use of resources, and improved research and development quality. However, this review also reveals the challenges that must be faced in implementing 5G-based IoT solutions, such as security issues, data privacy, and infrastructure readiness and human resource competencies. The conclusion of this literature review highlights that advances in 5G technology have accelerated IoT adoption and innovation in higher education, opening up significant digital transformation opportunities in the higher education ecosystem. However, strategic and comprehensive planning is required to optimise the potential of 5G-based IoT and overcome the challenges that come with it

Abstract

Sports coaching education faces challenges in producing graduates who are competent in soft skills and entrepreneurship. Graduates are expected to compete in a highly competitive job market. This study aims to develop the UMClubLearn website as a learning center for students and the general public to enhance soft skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and certification in sports. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The study sample involved 337 undergraduate students from the Department of Coaching Education at Universitas Negeri Malang. The data were collected through questionnaires consisting of needs analysis, expert validation of the material, and product trials.  The analysis results showed that the UMClubLearn website achieved a very high level of validity, with an average score of 92% from material experts and 83% from media experts. Small and large group product trials also showed scores of 81% and 83%, respectively, indicating that the website is user-friendly and functional. The conclusion of this research is that the development of the UMClubLearn website fits the students' needs in soft skills and entrepreneurship development and has the potential to be a comprehensive solution in coaching education. Through this platform, it is expected that a new generation of competent sports coaches and entrepreneurs will emerge, ready to face challenges in the industrial field. The practical implications include enhancing accessibility to quality education and training, while theoretical implications suggest the integration of technology in sports education can bridge existing gaps in traditional training methods.

Abstract

Digital startups face significant challenges in defining clear and structured goals to achieve sustainable business growth. One method that can be utilized in startup business mentoring is visual coaching, a visual-based approach that helps entrepreneurs understand, formulate, and implement their business goals more effectively. This study aims to analyze the application of visual coaching in the goal-setting process during digital startup business mentoring. The research employs a qualitative approach through case studies of several digital startups that have incorporated visual coaching into their mentoring sessions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that visual coaching enhances startup founders' understanding of their business objectives in a more systematic and structured manner. The use of visual elements such as mind mapping, flowcharts, and infographics has proven to assist in developing clearer business strategies, increasing team engagement, and accelerating decision-making processes. Furthermore, the application of visual coaching positively impacts motivation and provides greater clarity in the startup's vision when facing business challenges. Therefore, visual coaching can be an effective approach in digital startup business mentoring, particularly in designing and establishing more concrete and measurable goals.
