This research aims to determine the implications of education for entrepreneurial abilities: formal vs non-formal education through the responses of business actors, as well as the differences in entrepreneurial abilities between individuals who have attended formal education and individuals who have attended non-formal education. This research uses a quantitative research design with case studies in Indonesia. Sample selection using purposive sampling. The data used is primary data (demographic data, attitudes, and views of business actors) and secondary data in the form of sales volume or income from business. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using the ANOVA test. The research results show that non-formal education has a more significant influence on entrepreneurial abilities compared to formal education. Through direct experience, practical skills, and the flexibility of non-education, it can encourage entrepreneurial abilities and offers opportunities to adapt to the dynamics of the business world which are changing rapidly in line with the needs of the business world which continues to develop. Through non-formal education, we can gain practical skills, direct experience, and readiness to face real business challenges.

Abstract

The integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in the education curriculum is one of the strategic steps in preparing a generation that is adaptive to technological developments and global challenges. STEM-based education encourages students to develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through an interdisciplinary approach. In the context of the curriculum, STEM implementation presents challenges in terms of syllabus adjustments, teacher training, and procurement of adequate learning facilities. However, STEM integration also offers great opportunities to create an educational ecosystem that is relevant to the needs of the 21st century workforce. This article discusses the basic concepts of STEM integration, implementation strategies in the curriculum, and its impact on students' readiness to face the industrial revolution 4.0 and a dynamic future. Based on the analysis of literature and practices in various countries, it is identified that collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the private sector is needed to support the success of STEM integration in the education system. Thus, STEM integration is expected to be a strong foundation in building a competent, innovative and globally competitive generation.

Abstract

Social education plays an important role in shaping individuals who care about the social environment and humanity. However, conventional approaches often lack the ability to capture students' attention and build deep emotional engagement. This research explores the potential of music integration as an innovative tool in social education to enhance empathy and social awareness. Music has the unique ability to bridge cultural differences, stimulate emotions, and encourage deep reflection on social issues. In this study, qualitative methods were used to analyze the impact of music on students' understanding of social themes, such as social justice, diversity and solidarity. The study involved observations, interviews, and analysis of the experiences of students who participated in music-based learning programs in several secondary schools. The results showed that music not only enriched the learning process, but also significantly improved students' ability to feel empathy for others and understand complex social issues. Thus, music integration in social education can be a transformative approach to creating a more socially sensitive, caring and responsible generation.

Abstract

Negative mindset and attitude towards statistics lessons have an impact on interest in learning. Facts show that the teaching methods of statistics materials used by teachers in Indonesia are less than optimal. The gap between the theory of expectations and reality in the field is urgent to research to analyze the attitudes of prospective teachers towards statistics and differences in attitudes between genders. The research method used is quantitative with a Survey approach. The sample was 641 teachers spread across Sungai Penuh. Data collection techniques with Surveys with instruments. This scale uses a Likert scale from 1 strongly disagree to 7 strongly agree. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS Version 25.0 to calculate the mean, standard deviation, and T-test. Alpha factor analysis and confirmatory Cronbach are used to test reliability and validity. The attitudes of prospective teachers and analyzed using SPSS version 25.0 and CFA was analyzed using SPSS AMOS 25.0. The results found that teachers' attitudes were in the good and positive categories towards the four components of the model. It was also found that female teachers had more positive attitudes towards statistics than male teachers. The study concludes that teachers in statistics learning are encouraged to learn independently with the preparation and training received, and teachers' attitudes and skills are increasingly developing with frequent training. The implications of this study are for the development of teacher learning processes in the classroom by attending training more often and using exercises and discussions in statistics learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed various aspects of human life, including education management. This study discusses the shift from conventional administration to total digitalization in education management. The research aims to analyze the impact of digital transformation on efficiency, accessibility, and quality of educational administration. By utilizing qualitative methods, data were collected through literature studies and case studies of educational institutions that have implemented digital systems. The findings indicate that digitalization significantly improves administrative processes, reduces bureaucratic complexity, and enhances the responsiveness of educational institutions. However, challenges such as digital literacy, infrastructure readiness, and data security must be addressed for optimal implementation. This study contributes to the discourse on modern education management by providing insights into best practices and strategies for successful digital transformation. Future research is encouraged to explore the long-term impact of digital education management on learning outcomes and institutional performance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the management of character learning based on Islamic education through a qualitative literature review. Scholarly sources were selected systematically based on relevance to key Islamic educational principles and character development practices, with 30 primary sources meeting criteria of recency and academic rigor. The development of character education rooted in Islamic teachings, particularly in the concepts of akhlaq (morality), adab (manners), and tarbiyah (holistic education), is essential in shaping the moral and ethical values of students. This review identifies successful practices within Islamic educational institutions, such as integrating Quranic teachings and prophetic traditions into curricula, and underscores the critical roles of teachers, parents, and administrators in modeling and reinforcing Islamic character values. Notably, the research highlights challenges in implementing consistent character education amid pressures of secularization and globalization. Findings suggest that a comprehensive management approach—one that aligns pedagogy, curriculum, and community engagement with Islamic values—is needed. This includes clear guidelines on educator roles and stakeholder involvement, as well as institutional support mechanisms. The study advances the literature by analyzing gaps in current approaches to Islamic character education and by recommending specific strategies for enhancing management practices. Further research is suggested to test these insights in various educational contexts to refine implementation strategies and strengthen the impact of Islamic character education.

Abstract

ASEAN regional economic integration emphasizes the importance of regulatory harmonization across various sectors, including cooperatives. This study aims to examine the suitability and challenges of harmonizing cooperative regulations across ASEAN countries through a legal review of Malaysia's cooperative regulatory system. As a country with a developed cooperative legal framework, Malaysia offers best practices in national cooperative management that can be reflected in strengthening the regional cooperative legal framework. This research method uses a normative qualitative approach with a comparative legal analysis of cooperative legislation in Malaysia and several other ASEAN countries. The study results indicate that despite differences in the legal and institutional structures of cooperatives across ASEAN countries, there is potential room for harmonization through shared fundamental principles, such as economic democracy, member involvement, and business sustainability. These findings support the need for cross-border policy dialogue to formulate ASEAN cooperative regulatory standards that are adaptive, inclusive, and appropriate to local characteristics. Harmonization of cooperative regulations across the ASEAN region is considered strategic in promoting economic integration based on community participation and social justice.
