Abstract

Coffee is the largest commodity in the world. Coffee is also the second largest export after oil exports in Indonesia. In 2019 until now, Indonesia's coffee export ranking has decreased, which was originally ranked as the third largest coffee exporting country in the world, from 2019 until now it has fallen to fourth place. This is caused by a number of things, such as the low level of education on how to educate coffee to coffee farmers in Indonesia, the high price of fertilizers, and restrictions on the amount of subsidized fertilizers for coffee farmers, causing the quality of coffee plant cultivators to be poor. This problem has an impact on coffee farmers who are in the Humbang Ha Anglean area of ​​North Sumatra Province, Humbang Ha Anglean is one of the Arabica coffee producers in Indonesia, this problem has an impact on coffee farmers in the area. In this case the Indonesian Coffee Council (DEKOPI) as the largest coffee community in Indonesia, working with the government, created a program for coffee farmers called coffee storage houses, to accommodate coffee products from coffee farmers in Indonesia. This program is carried out by DEKOPI in collaboration with BUMN to prosper and prosper coffee farmers in Indonesia. And also to improve the yields of coffee farmers and the level of coffee exports in Indonesia can increase. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the program formed by DEKOPI is still not effective, which is because the program has just been formed and has only been running for a few months, and if this program runs well and is effective, the effect will be felt for one or two next year.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effectiveness of Instagram as a Space for Hijrah Motivation for IAIN Lhokseumawe Students. The various superior features that Instagram has make Instagram a promising interaction space, including influencers or preachers in delivering motivational messages. This paper is dissected using a qualitative methodology. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The qualitative descriptive method examines the existing specific cases comprehensively, by identifying, describing, understanding, and interpreting the data obtained through the media. The results of the study show that Instagram has become a new instrument for social change, and is used by individuals and groups to create new social movements, including the hijrah movement. The increasing number of community leaders who have emigrated is one of the drivers of the increasing trend of migrating among students. The concept of hijrah among students is identified as one of the increasingly assertive trends in the social system of society. The use of Instagram as a media for preaching can bridge technological advances with the process of preaching, where users can access information about the Islamic world without time, cost and place constraints.

Abstract

Generation Z, who grew up in the digital era and globalization, faces dynamics in marriage issues that are increasingly complex and diverse, one of which is the issue of polygamy. Therefore the aim of this research is to understand how polygamy is viewed by individuals in Generation Z from a psychological perspective. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey approach using a Likert scale as a way to view the psychometric scale. The results of this research show that Generation Z does not experience high levels of anxiety in facing the issue of polygamous marriage emotionally and psychologically. In the emotional variable, (48%) said it was sufficient, while physiological (42.40%). Overall, this research shows an appropriate reference point for further research by identifying the sources and factors of Generation Z's lack of anxiety regarding the issue of polygamy

Abstract

Group discussion is a learning method that is carried out by students and consists of between 4 to 6 people so as to form small groups to achieve more effective learning goals. The application of this group discussion method was studied to increase student effectiveness, especially in learning activities in Civics learning subjects. The method used in this study is the literature review method by collecting data sourced from books, journals and internet sites. The results of this study are as follows: how to form appropriate discussion groups and the benefits obtained in carrying out group discussions so that they can increase students' interest in Civics subjects.

Abstract

The Galah Asin game is a traditional game that is often played by 10 year old children. This salty pole game is a game that until now has rarely been seen played by children in the current adult era. The Galah Asin game itself actually holds a variety of benefits, because in this game a child is required to work together and socialize with friends around him and this is part of the Indonesian culture which prioritizes togetherness rather than the individual. His presence game online In the current adult era, children are fascinated by its presence so that they forget about the traditional games that exist in the surrounding environment and nowadays we see that the traditional game of galah asin is rarely played by children. This research is aimed at re-existing the traditional galah asin game which is a cultural heritage, so that its presence must not be forgotten and must be preserved from generation to generation. This type of research uses literature study so that the author will explain comprehensively the game of galah asin game. Abstract

This article aims to explore the values of Islamic Cyberculture in mitigating inferiority and cancel culture in virtual spaces. The phenomenon of cancel culture and inferiority is an interesting issue. In Indonesia, this issue has affected people's personal lives, from rejection to petitions. This is certainly legitimate because there are no regulations governing the criminal offence of cancel culture. However, psychologically, it is found that this culture arises because of the inferiority of individuals so that they make destructive movements. The urgency of this research is to rebuild Islamic Cyberculture in overcoming problems in social media. This article uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Primary data in this research are case examples and articles that are reviewed using literature review techniques. After the data is collected, the author will analyse the data using content analysis techniques. The results show that there are at least four components of Islamic Cyberculture in the Qur'an, namely: Principles of Justice and Equality, Ethics of Speaking and Interacting, Importance of Knowledge and Reflection and Avoiding Fitnah and Ghibah. Field facts show that there are at least five urgent challenges regarding inferiority and cancel culture in Indonesia, namely: 1) Social Pressure and Unrealistic Expectations, 2) Cancel Culture and Quick Judgement, 3) Self-Censorship and Restrictions on Freedom of Expression, 4) Polarisation and Lack of Constructive Dialogue and 5) Use of Technology for Character Destruction. All of these problems can be minimised by Islamic Cyberculture that continues to voice positive messages, build awareness of digital ethics, and educate the public. Islamic Cyberculture brings a grand narrative in restoring a more inclusive and wise virtual environment.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of film-based audiovisual media in enhancing nationalism values among eleventh-grade students at SMA Bina Guna Tanah Jawa in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was driven by concerns over declining nationalism among younger generations due to globalization and cultural shifts. A quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design was employed, involving 80 purposively selected students. Data were collected through a 20-item Likert scale questionnaire based on four indicators of nationalism from the Ministry of Education and Culture: love for the homeland, pride in national identity, appreciation of cultural diversity, and commitment to unity. Results showed an increase in mean nationalism scores from 71.20 in the pretest to 78.10 in the first posttest, and 82.65 in the second posttest. The greatest improvement was in pride in national identity (+4.1 points), while the lowest was in commitment to unity (+1.7 points). A paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference before and after treatment. These findings confirm the effectiveness of film-based audiovisual media in fostering nationalism, with further emphasis required on unity and diversity.‎

Abstract

Perundungan (bullying) masih menjadi permasalahan sosial yang mengkhawatirkan di lingkungan sekolah menengah pertama karena berdampak negatif pada psikologis siswa, iklim belajar, dan hubungan sosial di sekolah. Salah satu pendekatan preventif yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui penguatan civic virtue atau kebajikan kewarganegaraan, yang menekankan pada nilai empati, kepedulian, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pencegahan perundungan melalui program berbasis civic virtue di SMP Negeri 1 Dolok Pardamean. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan 50 siswa, 10 guru, dan perwakilan orang tua. Program dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap: asesmen awal, penyuluhan, pelatihan peer educator, dan deklarasi sekolah ramah anak. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman siswa, dari rata-rata 43% menjadi 85%. Selain itu, terjadi perubahan sikap siswa dalam menginternalisasi nilai empati dan kepedulian sosial. Simpulan dari program ini adalah penguatan civic virtue terbukti efektif dalam mencegah perundungan sekaligus membangun budaya sekolah yang inklusif dan demokratis

Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies for developing library outreach services to enhance social inclusion, reach vulnerable communities, and support sustainable development. The research method used is a qualitative literature review. Data were collected through analysis of literature from reputable journals, academic books, and other credible sources, focusing on mobile library services, digital-based services, community-based programs, and inclusive services for special needs groups. The findings show that outreach services can expand information access, increase community engagement, and empower communities through educational programs. Mobile libraries effectively reach rural communities, while digital services provide convenient access anytime and anywhere. Community-based programs and inclusive services have a significant impact on improving information literacy and supporting community development. However, challenges in implementing these services include budget constraints, infrastructure limitations, and human resource shortages. This research offers practical and theoretical benefits by providing a conceptual framework for managing innovative and sustainable outreach services. The findings are expected to guide libraries in designing service strategies relevant to modern societal needs while promoting social inclusion and sustainability.
