Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan ekologis guna meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Dolok Pardamean. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru PPKn, siswa kelas VIII, dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan ekologis dalam pembelajaran PPKn melalui pendekatan kontekstual, metode diskusi, dan proyek mini yang mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan isu lingkungan lokal. Dari hasil angket yang disebarkan kepada 30 siswa, sebanyak 70% menyatakan adanya peningkatan kesadaran terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, 60% mulai aktif menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, dan 50% mengurangi penggunaan plastik sekali pakai. Secara kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, siswa menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam sikap dan perilaku terhadap lingkungan. Temuan ini memperkuat gagasan bahwa pembelajaran PPKn dapat berfungsi sebagai sarana efektif dalam penguatan karakter ekologis siswa. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru dan sarana pembelajaran masih menjadi hambatan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan dukungan kelembagaan dan penguatan kapasitas guru untuk mengoptimalkan integrasi pendidikan lingkungan dalam kurikulum kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

Evaluation is an important component in the education system. Evaluation of achievement is separate from the teaching and learning process; In addition, it is very important in the education and teaching system in educational institutions. Improvement and development of education can be identified by the evaluation results. Thus, through evaluation teachers will be able to identify how successful their teaching and learning process is planning and discover the level of program efficiency. Qualitative methods are used in this research. Observation, interview, and documentation of data collection techniques used. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the teacher's ability to teach Civic Education evaluates the learning process in SMP Swasta Satria Mandiri, the teacher has carried out eight evaluation criteria in the teaching and learning process, namely: consistency between the teaching and learning process and the curriculum, implementation by the teacher, implementation by students, student motivation, liveliness, interaction, teacher's ability to teach, student achievement quality; However, the weakness caused by the teacher's lack of ability in planning and evaluating implementation in SMP Swasta  Satria Mandiri. The teacher's ability To Carry Out The Final Evaluation In Learning Citizenship Education at The Satria Mandiri Private Vocational School is quite good. Although in general the evaluation has been carried out well, some weaknesses were found. Suggestions for this research are that Civics teachers in SMP Swasta  Satria Mandiri need improvement in making good lesson plans, and teachers should record student improvements in the learning process in organized notes such as Discussion Assessment sheets, affective Assessment sheets for student objectivity scores.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of film-based audiovisual media in enhancing nationalism values among eleventh-grade students at SMA Bina Guna Tanah Jawa in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was driven by concerns over declining nationalism among younger generations due to globalization and cultural shifts. A quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design was employed, involving 80 purposively selected students. Data were collected through a 20-item Likert scale questionnaire based on four indicators of nationalism from the Ministry of Education and Culture: love for the homeland, pride in national identity, appreciation of cultural diversity, and commitment to unity. Results showed an increase in mean nationalism scores from 71.20 in the pretest to 78.10 in the first posttest, and 82.65 in the second posttest. The greatest improvement was in pride in national identity (+4.1 points), while the lowest was in commitment to unity (+1.7 points). A paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference before and after treatment. These findings confirm the effectiveness of film-based audiovisual media in fostering nationalism, with further emphasis required on unity and diversity.‎

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan model pemberdayaan berbasis civic engagement melalui praktik pertanian modern (hidroponik) untuk membangun kesadaran lingkungan di kawasan wisata Pemandian Karang Anyer, Kabupaten Simalungun. Desain yang digunakan ialah One Group Pretest–Posttest meliputi survei awal, pelatihan teori–praktik, serta pendampingan intensif selama delapan minggu. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan teknis peserta (87% mampu menjelaskan kembali konsep hidroponik, nutrisi, dan irigasi hemat air), pembentukan kelompok tani kecil, serta terbangunnya komitmen pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga secara lebih ramah lingkungan (92% responden mengurangi pupuk kimia). Demplot hidroponik seluas ±300 m² menghasilkan panen perdana ±75 kg sayuran yang dimanfaatkan untuk konsumsi dan dijual di pasar lokal sehingga menambah kas kelompok. Tantangan teknis, sosial, logistik, dan cuaca dimitigasi melalui adaptasi teknologi, pendekatan partisipatif, dan dukungan pemerintah desa. Temuan menegaskan bahwa integrasi civic engagement dengan pertanian modern tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan pendapatan, tetapi juga memperkuat solidaritas sosial dan ekoliterasi warga, sekaligus mengaitkan sektor pertanian dengan nilai tambah pariwisata berkelanjutan. Model ini direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi dengan mempertimbangkan konteks lokal dan kemitraan triple helix (pemerintah–kampus–dunia usaha).
