Abstract

To date, the number of e-commerce applications in Indonesia keeps increasing. However, the adoption rate amongst Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is still around 13%. Thus, the research aims to analyze the factors that affect small and medium enterprises’ resistance to adopting online marketplaces in Indonesia by applying the technological-organizationalenvironmental framework, the diffusion of innovations theory, and the innovation resistance model. The respondents are 356 owners of SMEs in Indonesia who have sold their products online through social media or marketplace. The research applies a quantitative approach using an online questionnaire and interview. Then, the covariance-based structural equation modeling method is applied to analyze the data. In addition, the research interviews five SME representatives to gain further understanding and information for the rejected hypothesis. The results show that perceived complexity, owners’ self-efficacy, and enabling conditions are proven to affect perceived behavioral control. Perceived complexity is also shown to affect perceived risk. On the other hand, government support does not affect perceived behavioral control. It is also found that perceived risk and behavioral control affect resistance to adopting online marketplaces. The findings provide recommendations to overcome this situation, such as the simplification of online marketplace features for sellers and improvements in the digital literacy of the owners of SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors influencing the successful implementation of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (MSOE). There are 22 factors influence the success of HRIS implementation that are categorized into 4 dimensions, namely human, organization, technology and environment based on DeLone & McLean information system success model, HOT (human-organization-technology) fit model and TOE (technology-organization-environment). This research use quantitative method approach and data collection is gathered using questionnaire. Method of data analysis using Entropy method to calculate the weight of success factors and dimensions, and rank factors and dimensions. There are 99 respondents of the HRIS users provided data through the questionnaires distributed to them. This study shows that the dimensions influencing the success of HRIS implementation at the MSOE in priority order are technology, human, environment and organization. In addition, there are 5 factors selected with the highest weights namely information quality, service quality, top management support, system quality and social influence.

Abstract

The growing number of mobile users encourages companies to take advantage of these opportunities to improve their marketing strategy. One of the marketing strategies that can be done through mobile devices is mobile advertising. However, the problem is that many users still consider mobile advertising as spam and many companies do not know how to start mobile advertising. While to start mobile advertising, must first understand the attitude of mobile users themselves. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that can affecting Tokopedia application user's attitude to mobile advertising seen from affective and cognitive side. Additionally, this study aims to analyze the impact of mobile advertising on purchase intention of users to purchase products or services offered through mobile advertising. This research uses quantitative approach which is done by collecting respond from 565 Tokopedia application user's. The data is then analyzed using CB-SEM method using AMOS 21. Based on the results of analysis, the writers found that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, positive emotions, and negative emotions affect the user's attitude towards mobile advertising. Next, attitude also has an effect on user's purchase intention on advertised products or services.

Abstract

Just as companies in the oil and gas industry, Air Drilling Associates (ADA) also feel the urgency to utilize Knowledge Management to facilitate resilience in a dynamic and competitive business environment. By the end of 2016 ADA introduces the ADA Knowledge Base, a Knowledge Management System, for employee to be utilized as a platform for sharing experiences and learning. However, up to one year since its introduction, the employee participation rate against ADA Knowledge Base is still low. A strategy is required for the implementation of a Knowledge Management System that is part of support for Knowledge Management. This study conducted by using Soft System Methodology approach and Knowledge Management theory. Respondents upper management, middle management and staff form the organization has been interviewed. The result defined three steps and sixteen activities for the company to implement the Knowledge Management System.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of social features and social users on recommendations acceptance on shopping activities in Instagram. This study uses quantitative approach to process 654 data collected using online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using CB-SEM method and AMOS 21 tools. The results of this study showed that social features and social users give moderating effect on the relationship between social recommendation, cognitive appraisal and affective appraisal. Meanwhile, affective and cognitive appraisal was found to affect purchase intention. The finding shows that the user giving recommendation and the features used to make recommendation can influence the level of recommendation acceptance.

Abstract

Makin meningkatnya jumlah informasi yang terdapat di Internet menjadi salah satu alasan yang kuat untuk mengembangkan mesin pencari yang handal. Google merupakan salah satu mesin pencari yang handal namun masih memiliki keterbatasan khususnya dalam melakukan analisa kandungan dokumen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan mesin pencari yang dapat menganalisa kandungan teks bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metodologi studi literatur dan penelitian lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, penggunaan analisa semantik mempermudah pengguna dalam mencari artikel yang dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Saat ini, perkembangan aplikasi e-commerce di Indonesia khususnya aplikasi B2C (Business to Consumer) semakin meningkat. Salah satu komponen penting dalam proses jual beli secara online adalah proses pembayaran elektronik (e-payment). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan empat model pembayaran elektronik berdasarkan kondisi ekonomi, keamanan, tingkat pendidikan, akses teknologi, pengguna telepon seluler dan pengguna kartu kredit dan ATM di Indonesia. Model pembayaran tersebut yaitu ATMPal, iCash, Pulsa E-payment dan Mobile Banking. Selain itu, dalam penelitian ini akan ditentukan peringkat kesesuaian untuk masing-masing model pembayaran tersebut dengan kondisi di Indonesia. Nowadays, the development of e-commerce applications in Indonesia, especially the application for B2C (Business to Consumer) is increasing. An important component in the process of online buying and selling is the electronic payment (e-payment). This research aims to develop four models of electronic payments based on economic conditions, safety, education level, access to technology, cell phone users, and credit cards and ATMs users in Indonesia. The payment model is ATMPal, iCash, Toll E-payment, and Mobile Banking. Moreover, this research will determined to rank the suitability of each such payment model to the conditions in Indonesia.

Abstract

MIT Process Handbook menawarkan metode penyimpanan dan pencarian proses bisnis suatu organisasi. Komunitas bisnis atau mahasiswa yang mengambil topik kuliah proses bisnis dapat mempelajari best-practice proses bisnis yang terdapat dalam MIT Process Handbook. Kumpulan proses bisnis yang terdapat di MIT Process Handbook hanya mengelola deskripsi proses bisnis tersebut dalam format teks. Kemunculan teknologi Extensible Markup Language (XML), kemampuan XML dalam melakukan query, adopsi dari banyak industri untuk menggunakan standar berbasis XML dalam pendefinisian dan pengeksekusian proses bisnis serta dukungan dari sistem basis data yang sudah mendukung penyimpanan data dalam format XML memudahkan semua pihak dalam perancangan dan implementasi sistem pengelolaan bisnis proses dengan mengadopsi standar dan teknologi XML ini. Sistem pengelolaan proses bisnis ini dapat digunakan untuk mengelola, mendistribusikan, dan melakukan query terhadap proses bisnis tertentu. Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai rancangan dan arsitektur sistem pengelolaan proses bisnis dengan kumpulan proses bisnis yang dapat digunakan untuk mengajar mata kuliah Business Process Management di program studi Sistem Informasi. MIT Process Handbook offers a method of storage and retrieval of an organization's business processes. Business community or college students who take the topic of business processes can learn best-practice business processes contained in the MIT Process Handbook. Collection of business processes that are contained in the MIT Process Handbook only manage the business process description in text. The emergence of Extensible Markup Language (XML), XML querying capabilities, adoption of many industries to use XML-based standards in the definition and execution of business processes and data base system that supports data storage in XML format facilitates all parties in the design and implementation of business process management systems by adopting these standards and XML technologies. Business process management systems can be used to manage, distribute, and perform a query against a particular business process. This study describes the design and architecture of business process management system with a collection of business processes that can be used to teach Business Process Management in Information Systems courses.

Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif suatu organisasi, aplikasi e-commerce dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan proses supply chain suatu organisasi. Saat ini di Indonesia sudah banyak organisasi yang mulai memanfaatkan aplikasi e-commerce B2C (Business to Consumer) dalam memasarkan produknya. Implementasi konsep B2C dilakukan melalui pembuatan website e-commerce yang digunakan untuk bertransaksi secara langsung dengan konsumen. Namun, pembuatan website pribadi untuk perdagangan elektronik tersebut tidak serta merta memberikan kesuksesan bagi perusahaan yang mengimplementasikannya. Di Indonesia, belum banyak website B2C yang bermunculan. Oleh karena itu, sebuah instrumen evaluasi terhadap website e-commerce perlu didefinisikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja website e-commerce. Paper ini akan membahas mengenai proses pendefinisian instrumen evaluasi sebuah website e-commerce ditinjau dari sudut pandang pengunjung pertama, intermittent, dan frequent. Hal ini dikarenakan masing-masing pengunjung memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dan membutuhkan sebuah instrumen evaluasi yang berbeda pula. Pendefinisian instrumen evaluasi website e-commerce ini didasarkan pada beberapa teori yang sudah ada dan berbagai macam literatur lainnya. In improving the competitive advantage of an organization, e-commerce applications can be used to improve an organization's supply chain process. Currently in Indonesia there are many organizations are beginning to utilize e-commerce B2C (Business to Consumer) applications in marketing their products. Implementation is done through development of B2C e-commerce website that used to trade directly with consumers. However, development of personal websites for electronic commerce does not necessarily provide success for the company that implements it. In Indonesia, only a few B2C websites are popping up. Therefore, an evaluation instrument for e-commerce website needs to be defined to improve the performance of e-commerce website. This paper will discuss the process of defining an evaluation instrument for e-commerce website from the point of view of the first visitors, intermittent, and frequent. This is because each visitor has different characteristics and require a different evaluation instruments. Defining the evaluation instrument e-commerce website is based on several existing theories and various other literature.

Abstract

Saat ini layanan internet telah banyak digunakan untuk berbagai macam keperluan guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunanya. Tidak terkecuali pemerintah yang memanfaatkan internet untuk memberikan layanan dan informasi kepada masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang layanan-layanan yang diberikan pemerintah secara online untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan e-government yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah pada level kementerian berdasarkan framework Deloitte & Touche. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini adalah situs kementerian beserta direktoratnya, metode pendekatan yang digunakan untuk memetakan tingkat e-government yaitu framework Deloitte & Touche, serta kategori e-government Government-to-Citizen (G2C) dijadikan sebagai fokus penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu implementasi e-government di level kementerian sudah mencapai tingkat kedua, yaitu tahap “official” two-way transactions. Kementerian yang telah mencapai tahap ini antara lain Kementerian Hukum dan HAM, Kementerian Keuangan, Kementerian Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi, dan Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional. Today, internet service has been widely used for various purposes in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its users. No exception to the government that utilizes the internet to provide services and information to their communities. This study discusses about the online services provided by government to find out the extent to which the application of e-government conducted by the government at the Ministry level framework based on Deloitte & Touche. The scope of this study is the site of the Ministry and its directorate, the approach used to map the level of e-government framework that Deloitte & Touche, and other categories of e-government Government-to-Citizen (G2C) serve as the focus of this research. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The result of this research is the implementation of e-government at the Ministry level has reached the second level, the stage of "official" two-way transactions. Ministry that has reached this stage include the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration and the Ministry of National Education.
