Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran scramble adalah salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang menuntut siswa untuk lebih aktif, siswa belajar dengan menyenangkan karena kegiatan dilakukan secara berkelompok. Siswa juga diajarkan untuk dapat bekerja sama dengan teman-temannya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan strategi pembelajaran scramble pada mata pelajaran IPS, dampak dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran scramble pada siswa, serta faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat pelaksanaan strategi pembelajaran scramble. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui, memahami, dan mendeskripsikan informasi terkait subjek penelitian serta gejala dan aktivitas yang terjadi dilapangan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran scramble pada siswa usia sekolah dasar memiliki dampak yaitu, (1) siswa tertarik dan senang mengikuti pelajaran, (2) siswa belajar untuk bekerja sama dengan temannya, (3) siswa dapat berpikir cermat dan cepat sehingga dapat menyelesaikan soal dengan mudah. Kemudian faktor pendukung pembelajaran scramble yaitu, guru motivasi kepada peserta didik diawal pembelajaran, guru membagi kelompok secara heterogen, dan memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang tujuan pembagian kelompok. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu, terbatasnya pemahaman guru terhadap peserta didik, penggunaan strategi yang monoton, dan kemampuan peserta didik yang rendah.

Abstract

Writing skills are a way for someone to describe ideas, ideas, thoughts in written form that can be read and understood by readers. This paper aims to determine the application of visual media in developing students' skills in writing responses and suggestions, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of the visual media. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach to describe a research result, provide a description, explanation, as well as validation regarding the phenomenon being studied by observation or observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on this research it was found that the application of visual media in writing skills has an impact, namely, (1) students can understand learning material with visual media in the form of images, (2) students can answer questions by writing sentences and suggestions based on the pictures contained in the problem, and (3) all students write down the answers correctly and get good grades. (4) Students dare to read their writing in front of all their friends. Then the supporting factor is the teacher's proficiency in using the media, and also visual learning media has the benefit of being able to introduce original pictures of an object or event. While the inhibiting factors in the use of visual learning media are limited facilities and lack of funds for adequate learning media facilities

Abstract

This research aims to describe and document the implementation of Polya’s theory on the circumference of rectangular flat shapes to improve elementary school students’ learning understanding. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques in this research are observation and documentation. The subjects in this research were 6 elementary school (SD) students who took part in research results, learning using Polya theory in the material around rectangular flat shapes can improve students’ understanding of more complex learning, namely: 1) students’ orientation to the problem, 2) organizing students to study, 3) guiding individual and group investigations, 4) analyse and evaluate the problem solving process. The stage of guiding individual and group investigations contains Polya’s four steps, namely: a) understanding, b) planning, c) implementation, and d) assessment.

Abstract

Kebijakan pemberlakukan PSBB oleh pemerintah untuk memutus rantai Covid-19 ternyata mengancam penghasilan masyarakat, terutama masyarakat yang bekerja di sektor informal. Pemberlakuan kebijakan PSBB tersebut menuai reaksi yang beragam dimasyarakat. Mayoritas warga mengeluhkan dampak yang dialami seperti sulitnya ekonomi karena tidak dapat bekerja seperti biasa sehingga segala kebutuhan hidupnya tidak dapat terpenuhi dengan baik khususnya masyarakat kelas bawah yang berpenghasilan rendah. Angka pengangguran dan kemiskinan meningkat drastis karena banyak msyarakat yang tidak mempunyai pekerjaan akibat pemberlakuan PSBB ini.

Abstract

The low level of civic literacy among elementary school students, particularly in understanding Indonesia's population and governmental system, poses a critical challenge in basic education. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of contextual learning strategies in improving students’ civic literacy. Employing a quasi-experimental approach with qualitative descriptive methods, the study was conducted at an elementary school in Kendari City. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and student learning documentation. The findings demonstrate that contextual learning significantly enhances students’ understanding of governmental structures, citizen roles, and population issues by engaging them in relevant and participatory learning experiences. The study’s outcomes highlight improvements in students' critical awareness, multimodal communication, and active classroom involvement. These findings underscore the importance of contextualized, student-centered civic education that is grounded in local experiences. The study contributes to the development of participatory pedagogy and advocates for inclusive civic education models within Indonesia’s primary education system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) yang dilaksanakan oleh Kelompok 152 Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) di Desa Pematang Serai, Kecamatan Tanjung Pura, Kabupaten Langkat. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui beberapa program utama, termasuk moderasi beragama, pencegahan stunting, dan pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pendidikan masyarakat, difusi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, pelatihan, mediasi, dan advokasi, yang diterapkan secara langsung melalui interaksi dengan masyarakat desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program KKN ini memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat desa. Program moderasi beragama berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan keagamaan, serta memperkuat toleransi antarwarga. Upaya pencegahan stunting melalui edukasi gizi dan inovasi makanan bergizi, seperti puding daun kelor, berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran ibu-ibu posyandu akan pentingnya nutrisi seimbang. Program pengembangan UMKM juga menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan kapasitas ekonomi lokal melalui digitalisasi usaha dan pelatihan pengelolaan bisnis. Secara keseluruhan, pelaksanaan KKN oleh Kelompok 152 UINSU di Desa Pematang Serai tidak hanya memberikan manfaat langsung bagi masyarakat desa, tetapi juga memperkuat peran mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan sosial yang berkontribusi pada pembangunan yang berkelanjutan di tingkat desa

Abstract

The study entitled "The Role of Madrasah Principals in Improving Administrative Effectiveness in Madrasahs" uses a library research method by reviewing various scientific literature, academic journals, and previous research results. The purpose of this study is to analyze and understand the strategic role of madrasah principals in improving the administrative effectiveness of Islamic educational institutions. Based on the results of the literature review, it was found that the effectiveness of madrasah administration is largely determined by the ability of the madrasah principal to carry out leadership, management, supervision, and oversight functions in an integrated manner. Madrasah principals play a vital role in planning, organizing, and controlling all administrative activities, from curriculum administration, student affairs, personnel, to finance and infrastructure. The research findings indicate that strategies to improve administrative effectiveness can be implemented through strengthening administrative planning, optimizing communication and coordination, utilizing information technology, and developing human resource competencies. In addition, madrasah principals with Islamic personalities are able to integrate the values ​​of honesty, responsibility, and trustworthiness throughout the administrative system, thereby creating a religious and productive work climate. Transformational and spiritual-integrative leadership models have been proven effective in improving administrative performance in madrasas. The study's conclusions confirm that administrative effectiveness depends not only on an organized system but also on the leadership quality of the madrasah principal, who is able to combine managerial professionalism with Islamic spiritual values. This research contributes theoretically to the development of Islamic education management and offers practical implications for strengthening effective, transparent, and religiously imbued madrasah administrative governance.
