It entails analyzing citations, publication trends, and other bibliographic information. Results: The findings underline the importance of utilizing films to encourage inclusive school practices. Films can reduce socioeconomic inequities, raise cultural knowledge, and improve inclusive teaching techniques. This study underlines the relevance of using film in instructional approaches to promote inclusive education practices and increase learning results. Films are exhibited to promote critical thinking about teaching methods, interpersonal relationships, and classroom ethics. Conclusion: Introducing film into teaching techniques can boost student engagement, improve critical thinking abilities, and raise cultural understanding. Subsequently, this bibliometric study provides a helpful overview of the present research environment in films, teaching, and inclusive education, serving as a foundation for academics to investigate and introduce new modern topics from various regional and cultural perspectives. Implications: Future research should examine the confluence of films, teaching, and inclusive education, as well as the ramifications of these encounters for educational settings, and compare them across study areas and locations or other relevant scopes.

Conclusion: The research suggested that social media platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp facilitate climate change discussions among Indonesian millennials. They enable tailored communication strategies and emphasize the potential for social media campaigns to influence a certain behavior. This research also emphasizes the need for a combined approach involving online and offline channels, better climate change education, and collaboration. Implications: The findings underscore the necessity for Indonesia’s climate change advocacy to integrate offline and online communication strategies that are tailored to individual preferences and enhance millennials’ understanding through targeted education and social media campaigns. Public figures may also be involved for broader impacts.

Abstract

Children growing up in Vietnam have mostly heard stories from their family members. At that time, the stories contain cultural knowledge that is preserved and passed down from generation to generation. This study examines the experiences of young people belonging to the Gen Z generation in Vietnam, in the case of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City with storytelling and exploring the characteristics of cultural transmission from the previous generation to the following generation through the form of storytelling. To explore these issues, the authors used a mixed research design combining qualitative and quantitative research. The results from the quantitative study show data on the students’ access to storytelling from childhood to the present, while the data from the qualitative study exploit personal experiences to cross-check with the quantitative data. The results of the study show that close relatives such as fathers, mothers, grandparents, teachers or acquaintances are the ones who often transmit culture through the form of storytelling from the students’ childhood. The cultural transmission form contained in the stories is in the form of folklore, literary works, religious stories, stories related to personal experiences and some other types. Storytelling plays the role of knowledge products for the purpose of cultural transmission through the generations. Through that, Gen Z students are provided with spiritual motivation for their own lives. And from there, they also become the ones who continue to transmit culture to the next generation.

Abstract

The Mông Sơn Thí Thực ritual, an integral practice within Northern Buddhism in Vietnam, has transformed from a religious rite into a dynamic cultural and social phenomenon. This study investigates the ritual’s social functions, spiritual significance, and cultural value in the context of contemporary Ho Chi Minh City—a space marked by urbanization, religious pluralism, and shifting moral frameworks. Anchored in an interdisciplinary framework that draws from Vietnam Studies, cultural studies, anthropology, religious sociology, and Buddhist studies, the research employs a mixed-methods approach. Qualitative data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with monks, nuns, and lay Buddhists at temples, home altars, and large-scale Buddhist ceremonies. These narratives were analyzed thematically to capture diverse perceptions and lived experiences surrounding the ritual. Quantitative data were gathered through a structured survey involving 800 respondents (400 monastics and 400 laypeople). The sample was determined using Yamane’s formula, with data analyzed via descriptive statistics. Findings indicate that the ritual fulfills several interrelated roles: it acts as a spiritual offering to forgotten souls, a moral training space for cultivating compassion and filial piety, and a platform for reinforcing collective identity and cultural continuity. Moreover, the ritual provides psychological relief for participants, functioning as a form of collective spiritual therapy amidst the anxieties of modern life. This study contributes new insights into how Buddhist ritual practices in Vietnam adapt to contemporary contexts. It highlights the enduring relevance of religious traditions as resources for moral resilience, cultural transmission, and social cohesion in an increasingly fragmented world.

Abstract

This study focuses on how young people in Vietnam use and feel satisfied with artificial intelligence algorithms on TikTok. The research paper aims to investigate and better understand how this group of young people interact and use the TikTok platform, with the integration of artificial intelligence algorithms. The study was conducted based on the results of an initial questionnaire survey on a simple random sample based on the germ development sampling method among students in Vietnam. The quantitative data is analyzed based on SPSS software. The results of the study show that the majority of young people in Vietnam have a basic knowledge and understanding of artificial intelligence algorithms on TikTok. They use them to find engaging content, watch videos, and engage with the community on the platform. However, the study also found some risks associated with using artificial intelligence algorithms on TikTok. It is a risk of privacy violation and interference with personal freedom when algorithms can track, analyze and collect the personal data of users. Thereby, the research team analyzed the data based on the use and satisfaction theory. In summary, this study has mentioned how the young public in Vietnam use and feel satisfied with the artificial intelligence algorithm on TikTok. In addition to the benefits, attention should be paid to the ethical and privacy issues associated with the use of this technology to protect the interests of users.
