Abstract

The digital revolution has created great opportunities in the world of education, one of which is using Artificial Intelligence (AI). This text reviews the role and challenges of AI in innovation in developing Indonesian language learning curricula in the future. AI has the ability to improve the quality of learning through personalizing the learning process, developing adaptive materials, automatic assessments, and technology-based interactions such as chatbots and educational applications. By utilizing natural language processing (NLP) technology, AI can help students master grammar, understand text, and improve communication skills in a more effective and efficient way. However, implementing AI in the curriculum also faces challenges. The main obstacles include gaps in access to technology, low digital literacy among teachers, and ethical issues related to student data privacy. Apart from that, AI development must also pay attention to preserving cultural values ??and the uniqueness of the Indonesian language, including the diversity of regional languages. This text emphasizes the importance of collaboration between government, educational institutions, and the technology industry to overcome these challenges. Through this study, it is hoped that various strategies can be designed to optimize the use of AI in Indonesian language learning that is inclusive, relevant and sustainable. This text also provides suggestions for the development of technology-based educational policies and practices that take into account technical, ethical and cultural aspects. ABSTRAKRevolusi digital telah menciptakan peluang besar di dunia pendidikan, salah satunya menggunakan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI). Teks ini mengulas peran dan tantangan AI dalam inovasi pengembangan kurikulum pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di masa yang akan datang. AI memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran lewat personalisasi proses belajar, pengembangan materi yang adaptif, penilaian otomatis, dan interaksi berbasis teknologi seperti chatbot dan aplikasi edukasi. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pemrosesan bahasa alami (NLP), AI dapat membantu siswa dalam menguasai tata bahasa, memahami teks, serta meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dengan cara yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Namun, penerapan AI dalam kurikulum juga menghadapi tantangan. Kendala utama mencakup kesenjangan akses terhadap teknologi, rendahnya literasi digital di antara guru, serta isu etika yang berkaitan dengan privasi data siswa. Selain itu, pengembangan AI juga harus memperhatikan pelestarian nilai-nilai budaya serta keunikan bahasa Indonesia, termasuk keragaman bahasa daerah. Teks ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan industri teknologi untuk mengatasi berbagai tantangan tersebut. Melalui kajian ini, diharapkan bahwa berbagai strategi dapat dirancang guna mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang inklusif, relevan, dan berkelanjutan. Teks ini juga memberikan saran untuk pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan berbasis teknologi yang memperhitungkan aspek teknis, etis, dan budaya.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the educational landscape significantly, including learning Indonesian language and literature. Webinars, as a form of online learning, offer greater flexibility and accessibility for students. This article aims to examine the role of literary webinars as a means of learning Indonesian language and literature in the digital era. This research will analyze various aspects of literary webinars, starting from the design of interesting and interactive learning materials, the use of innovative technology, to the impact on student motivation and learning achievement. Apart from that, this study will also identify the challenges faced in organizing literary webinars as well as solutions that can be implemented to overcome these challenges. It is hoped that the research results can contribute to the development of effective and efficient Indonesian language and literature learning models in the digital era. The findings in this research can be used as a reference for educators, learning material developers, and policy makers in designing quality literature webinar programs that are relevant to the needs of students. ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan secara signifikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Webinar, sebagai salah satu bentuk pembelajaran daring, menawarkan fleksibilitas dan aksesibilitas yang lebih luas bagi peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran webinar sastra sebagai sarana pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di era digital. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis berbagai aspek webinar sastra, mulai dari desain materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif, penggunaan teknologi yang inovatif, hingga dampaknya terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, studi ini juga akan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penyelenggaraan webinar sastra serta solusi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang efektif dan efisien di era digital. Temuan-temuan dalam penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi pendidik, pengembang materi pembelajaran, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang program webinar sastra yang berkualitas dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik.

Abstract

The interplay between culture and language is a central theme in anthropological linguistics. Culture encompasses values, beliefs, norms, and traditions passed down through generations, and language plays a fundamental role in expressing and preserving these cultural elements. This paper explores the reciprocal relationship between language and culture, illustrating how language not only reflects but also shapes the social and cultural realities of a community. By examining various examples, such as the use of honorifics in Japanese culture and the transmission of oral traditions in indigenous communities, the study highlights the role of language as a medium for cultural continuity. Additionally, it delves into how cultural changes, such as technological advancements, lead to the evolution of language, especially in the development of new vocabulary. Through this analysis, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how language and culture mutually influence each other, facilitating the ongoing process of cultural preservation and transformation.

Abstract

This article aims to conduct a critical discourse analysis using Teun A. van Dijk's model to examine the lyrics of the song "Cabe-Cabean" by Tjahjadi/Ishak.This analysis reveals how power, ideology, and social structure are contained within the discourse of the song, particularly in relation to gender, materialism, and social norms.This article focuses on the four main components in van Dijk's model, namely social structure, cognitive structure, text structure, and communicative context.By analyzing the song lyrics, this research shows how the song reinforces negative stereotypes about women, depicting them as materialistic and unserious in social relationships.The analysis results show that although this song is entertaining, it subtly reinforces negative ideologies and encourages listeners to be more critical in consuming media.This research contributes to understanding how popular music can serve as a means of disseminating cultural ideology and shaping public perception in contemporary society.

Abstract

This article discusses the complex relationship between language and philosophy, focusing on the weaknesses of language and the role of analytic philosophy in epistemology. The main problems raised include the ambiguity of language, its limitations in conveying abstract concepts, and its impact on philosophical thought. This research uses a qualitative method through content analysis and literature studies of the works of philosophers such as Wittgenstein, Russell, and Gettier, as well as a hermeneutic approach to interpreting texts contextually. It aims to examine how language affects philosophical understanding and how analytic philosophy seeks to address the weaknesses of language through logical and semantic analysis. The results show that language, although vital in communication and the construction of reality has limitations such as ambiguity and dependence on context. Analytic philosophy plays a role in clarifying meaning, analyzing concepts, and overcoming misunderstandings through an epistemological approach. This article suggests the need for further research on language in the context of digital technologies and the integration of language philosophy into the educational curriculum to enrich cross-disciplinary understanding. Implicitly, collaborations with cognitive sciences and sociology can provide new insights into the dynamics of language and thought.

Abstract

This study analyzes the linguistic landscape in commercial spaces with a case study of two business signs in Indonesia, namely Tokio 「とこや」Barber in Bali and Bing Pop Restaurant in Probolinggo. This study aims to reveal how the use of language and visual elements in signboards reflects identity, marketing strategies, and local socio-cultural dynamics. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a semiotic and sociolinguistic approach, through field observation and visual documentation. The results of the analysis show that the Tokio 「とこや」Barber signboard utilizes Japanese linguistic aesthetics and characters to build an exclusive and modern image, while Bing Pop uses popular language styles and bright colors that reflect a local and friendly approach. Both signboards show a shift in the function of commercial spaces as a place to express global and local linguistic and cultural identities. Furthermore, this study highlights the educational value of the linguistic landscape, as it encourages public literacy in recognizing multilingual expressions, cultural diversity, and the role of visual language in shaping perception. Thus, the linguistic landscape not only represents the language used, but also becomes a visual communication medium that influences public perception of a brand or business space, while fostering broader awareness of language learning and cultural literacy.

Abstract

This article is a literature review that discusses the integration of functional linguistic theory in text-based Indonesian language learning at the secondary school level. Functional linguistic theory, especially that developed by Halliday, emphasizes that language functions as a tool to construct meaning in a social context. In the context of learning, this approach is relevant to the Independent Curriculum which prioritizes text-based learning. This article analyzes various literature related to the application of functional linguistic theory in Indonesian language teaching, covering aspects of text structure, situational context, and the social function of language. The results of the review show that the integration of this theory can improve students' literacy competencies, deepen their understanding of text structure and function, and encourage more contextual and meaningful learning. This study recommends the development of more structured teaching tools and teacher training to support the implementation of functional linguistic theory in learning practices.

Abstract

Tindak tutur ekspresif adalah salah satu jenis tindak tutur yang berfungsi untuk mengungkapkan atau mengkomunikasikan sikap psikologis penutur terhadap situasi yang tersirat dalam ilokusi. Misalnya, mengucapkan terima kasih, memuji, dan mengkritik. Tindak tutur ekspresif memiliki keunggulan. Pertama, ekspresi seseorang memungkinkan seseorang untuk memahami apa yang dimaksudkan oleh penutur. Ini karena aspek perasaan manusia biasanya tersembunyi dan memiliki makna tersirat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dalam pengumpulan data. Peneliti dalam penelitian ini akan menyimak penggunaan bahasa dalam Bicara gagasan capres 2024. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik simak bebas libat cakap atau disingkat dengan teknik SBLC (Simak Bebas Libat Cakap), yaitu teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menyimak penggunaan bahasa tanpa terlibat dalam proses pembicaraan. Dalam penelitian ini, juga mengkaji maksud tuturan dari beberapa tokoh yang terdapat dalam acara debat capres 2024 yang ditentukan dari beberapa situasi tuturan. Kemudian mengenai tindak tutur ekspresif dianalisis fungsi, jenis, serta prinsip kesopanan tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh penutur dan mitra tutur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan, Pertama, bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif yang terdapat pada interaksi dalam tayangan youtube Ganjar Pranowo bicara gagasan (Capres 2024) ada dua meliputi (1) bentuk tindak tutur langsung literal, (2) bentuk tindak tutur tidak langsung literal, (3) bentuk tindak tutur langsung tidak literal, dan (4) bentuk tindak tutur tidak langsung tidak literal.

Abstract

Teks berita tentang feminisme pada berita online Fimela.com dapat dijadikan sebagai analisis wacana kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui posisi pemberitaan perempuan dan keterwakilan perempuan dalam teks berita online Fimela.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis. Data yang akan diteliti berasal dari berita online Fimela.com yaitu dokumen berupa teks berita pada berita online Fimela.com edisi Agustus 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik membaca dan mencatat. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa wacana feminisme dalam berita online Fimela.com menempati dua posisi sekaligus, yaitu sebagai objek (yang diceritakan) dan juga sebagai subjek (pencerita) serta hadirnya keterwakilan perempuan di dalamnya.
