Abstract

This study aims to explore the meanings of "hikmah" (wisdom) in the Qur'an and investigate its implications for Islamic education, considering the Sapir-Whorf theory on the influence of language structure on thought structure. The methodology involves textual analysis of Qur'anic sources and classical exegesis, using a qualitative approach to delve into the meanings embedded in the term "hikmah." The findings identify seven main meanings of hikmah in the Qur'an: first, preventive measures aimed at preventing negative thoughts and actions; second, practical lessons serving as life guidelines; third, understanding that links knowledge and action as a form of practical application; fourth, prophetic gift reflecting hikmah as part of divine revelation; fifth, Qur'anic interpretation relating hikmah to deep understanding of the sacred text; sixth, beneficial knowledge applied for good; and seventh, wise speech reflecting correct and precise communication. The study concludes that hikmah in the Qur'an embodies a combination of knowledge, understanding, and practical application in daily life. The implications suggest that integrating hikmah values into Islamic education can enrich the curriculum with a focus on character development and practical application. Additionally, the study supports the Sapir-Whorf theory by showing how language understanding affects educational practices and character formation, highlighting that language structure can influence thinking and learning processes.

Abstract

Education is an activity, which is very important for all humans, with human education it can change behavior and knowledge for the better. The achievement of educational programs through educational and learning measures is strongly influenced by various variables, one of which is the adequate accessibility of school personnel in addition to ideal use. The existence of these students is very important to help complete the path to school administration. Each training unit is responsible for building the abilities and talents of students to become proficient, and talented as mandated by law. With the aim that students meet assumptions can be made according to their wishes and abilities. The method used in this study was a survey, while the data collection technique used in this study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of research on school management that the average understanding of teachers, both Islamic Education teachers and Non Islamic Education teachers, shows that teachers understand all statements well, but of the five statements there is the lowest average, namely statement 3 with a mean of 4. Statement 3 is "The principal develops creative and innovative ideas in school development efforts and implements them in a consistent, participatory, collaborative, transformative and effective manner."

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki karakteristik Generasi Z dan dampaknya terhadap dunia pendidikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan literatur. Generasi Z, yang lahir antara akhir 1990-an dan pertengahan 2010-an, menunjukkan tingkat keahlian teknologi yang canggih, keterampilan multitasking yang tinggi, kecenderungan terhadap konsumsi konten yang beragam, dan preferensi terhadap pembelajaran interaktif. Dalam konteks pendidikan, Generasi Z menimbulkan sejumlah tantangan yang melibatkan adaptasi kurikulum, penggunaan teknologi, dan manajemen informasi yang melibatkan jumlah yang sangat besar. Tantangan-tantangan ini menciptakan kebutuhan untuk inovasi dalam metode pengajaran dan infrastruktur pendidikan guna menyesuaikan diri dengan gaya belajar dan preferensi Generasi Z. Meskipun demikian, Generasi Z juga membawa peluang signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan. Mereka memungkinkan aksesibilitas informasi yang lebih besar, mendorong kreativitas dalam proses pembelajaran, dan merangsang inovasi dalam metode pengajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyajikan wawasan yang sangat penting bagi para pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan untuk menghadapi tantangan-tantangan ini dan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ditawarkan oleh Generasi Z guna membangun sistem pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan efektif.
