Abstract

Lebong Regency Hospital is a Type C hospital that has been operating since 2015. Patient registration services are still manual, where patients register for treatment and are recorded in a register by staff. This results in long queues for services, which impacts patient satisfaction. The objective of this research is to design an outpatient registration information system in an effort to improve services in the registration department. The method used in this research is Microsoft Access software and a MySQL database using a Data Flow Diagram (DFD)-based system development method. The results of this research produce a registration information system to streamline the patient registration process, particularly in the outpatient unit. It is hoped that the hospital will implement the results of the outpatient registration information system design and conduct regular evaluations.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) is a communication information technology system that processes hospital services. Rafflesia Bengkulu Hospital has been implementing SIMRS since 2021. Currently there has not been an evaluation of the features contained in SIMRS so that this will result in not achieving service improvements, not achieving efficiency and slowing down service to patients. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the hospital management information system (SIMRS) at Rafflesia Hospital Bengkulu. The research used is a descriptive method, namely a method that aims to describe the description of the implementation of the hospital management information system (SIMRS). The subjects of this research were 10 respondents. It is known from the evaluation results of the system performance aspect that research results show that the system performance is good by 80% and the system performance is not good by 20%. 90% of the information produced is good, 10% of the information produced is not good. data security is good as much as 60% and not good as much as 40%. It is necessary to develop the SIMRS menu display so that it can support all services, and also to develop the system so that it does not experience frequent errors (errors). And notifications/warnings need to be given if SIMRS is accessed by unauthorized parties, so that the system can be controlled properly and is not misused by unauthorized parties.

Abstract

The Electronic Medical Record Storage System aims to increase efficiency at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital. However, based on the initial survey conducted, it was discovered that the medical record storage system was still carried out manually. Borrowed medical records are recorded in the expedition book before being borrowed and distributed by officers so that it takes time to get to the unit concerned. Officers store medical records not according to the shelves based on the patient's medical record number and many medical records are damaged/recorded. This research aims to design an electronic medical record storage system at Bhayangkara Hospital, Bengkulu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the waterfall method. The subjects of this research were medical records and IT officers. The research data used is primary data obtained by observation using a checklist sheet, then the data is processed and analyzed univariately. The result of this research is a design for an electronic medical record storage system that is ready to be implemented. Through this implementation, it is hoped that efficiency and accuracy in medical record management can be improved. The suggestions put forward are to make changes to the medical record file storage shelves to make them more orderly, provide training to officers in using the new system, and carry out impact evaluations to measure efficiency and patient satisfaction due to system changes.

Abstract

e-Retention is beneficial in supporting the efficient retention of medical record files. Retention is carried out by filing staff by selecting medical record numbers on the shelves by looking at the date/month/year of the patient's last visit and whether they have not returned for treatment for more than 5 years. A common problem in hospitals is that retained medical record data is not recorded or archived in the retention book. Consequently, when the patient returns for treatment, filing staff require considerable time to trace the medical record files to ensure they receive medical care. This impacts patient satisfaction with medical record services. This study aims to design a waterfall method for implementing medical record retention. Primary data were obtained through observation using a qualitative descriptive study using the waterfall method, with four staff members as subjects. The data used in this study were checklists, which were then processed and analyzed univariately. The result of this research is a design for an e-retention system for medical record files that is ready for implementation. This implementation is expected to improve the efficiency and accuracy of e-retention. Suggestions include making changes to the implementation of medical record file retention to make it more effective by using e-retention, providing training to staff on its use, and conducting an impact evaluation to measure efficiency and patient satisfaction resulting from the system changes.

Abstract

Alanine aminotransferase ( ALT ) is an enzyme made in liver cells. ALT is mainly found in the liver and is also found in small amounts in the heart and skeletal muscles. Serum and plasma EDTA can be used in the alanine aminotransferase (ALT) assay. The purpose of this study was to compare ALT examination using EDTA serum and plasma samples. This research was carried out in the Clinical Chemistry laboratory of the Harapan Bangsa Health Analyst Academy. This study using primary data capture technique sample Quota Sampling. The samples used were venous blood samples from 33 students of the Harapan Bangsa Health Analyst Academy. The type of research used in this research is observational. The data obtained were processed and tested with the t statistic test ( Paired Sample t-Test ) so that it can be concluded: " there is no significant difference " between ALT examination using serum and plasma EDTA samples, where t count 1.978 t table 2.036.

Abstract

The aim of this community service activity is to empower the people of Padang Pelawi Village, Seluma Regency, in utilizing medicinal plants to improve family health. This activity was carried out through training in medicinal plant cultivation, herbal product processing, instant ginger production, and guidance on their use for everyday health. The implementation method used a participatory approach, involving the community directly in every stage of the activity. The first step was identifying local medicinal plants that could be used, followed by training on plant cultivation and how to process the harvest into beneficial products, such as instant ginger. Ongoing guidance was provided to ensure the sustainability of the activity and optimal management of the medicinal plants. The results of this activity show that the community has gained knowledge and skills in cultivating medicinal plants and processing them into useful products. Some families have already started growing medicinal plants in their yards and processing them into products that can be consumed or sold. Additionally, this activity has had an impact on increasing family income through the sale of medicinal plant products. This initiative successfully raised the community's awareness of the importance of utilizing medicinal plants as a natural and affordable health solution.

Abstract

Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records states that every health service must conduct electronic medical record activities, one of which is reporting hospital service indicators. Hospital X's reporting application has not been fully implemented and utilized. This is because it only provides menus for BOR and AvLOS indicators, resulting in calculations using the application differing from manual calculations. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Hospital Service Indicator Reporting Application at Hospital X in 2024. This study was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The subjects were medical records and IT staff, as well as the reporting application participants. The data used in this study were primary data, using interview guidelines and observation sheets. The data were then processed and analyzed univariately. The results of this study show that there is a difference in the number of beds between the BOR and AvLOS indicator menus in the reporting application and the Decree of the Director of Hospital X, resulting in differences in the calculation results of Hospital service indicators based on the 2006 Indonesian Ministry of Health which can result in errors in decision making, while the TOI and BTO indicator menus are not yet available so it is necessary to develop a Hospital reporting system design.
