Abstract

This study aims to examine Value-Based Digital Leadership for Achieving Outstanding Schools (High Tech & High Touch) in elementary and junior high schools in Garut Regency. The research employs a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design and utilizes SEM analysis through AMOS software. The study involves supervisors, principals, and teachers as respondents. The results indicate that Value-Based Digital Leadership significantly impacts High Touch, both directly and indirectly, particularly at the junior high school level. Additionally, digital competencies and skills significantly contribute to High Tech. The results demonstrate that Value-Based Digital Leadership significantly contributes to the effectiveness of both High Tech and High Touch components in schools. Specifically, Digital Leader Values, Competence, and Skills were found to have a substantial impact on the implementation of High Technology in schools, with Digital Leader Values showing the strongest influence. The study reveals that the combined effect of these leadership aspects contributes 74.2% to the implementation of High Technology in schools. Moreover, the implementation of High Technology was found to have a direct and significant effect on High Touch, contributing 49.7% to the enhancement of social interaction and emotional support within the educational environment. Recommendations are provided for the Department of Education, supervisors, principals, teachers, and school committees to strengthen digital leadership values and skills and enhance digital infrastructure. This model is expected to create a more interactive and efficient learning environment, keeping pace with modern developments.

Abstract

This counseling activity on the smart use of social media for Arsyada Bogor High School students was held on September 14, 2024. This counseling uses an educational, participatory, and evaluative approach that aims to improve digital literacy and understanding of ethics in the use of social media among students. This activity consisted of educational sessions, interactive workshops, group discussions, and awareness campaigns. Based on the evaluation results, the counseling successfully improved students' understanding of digital literacy, online privacy, and ethical use of social media. Feedback from participants showed high satisfaction with the methods and materials used. However, time constraints and varying levels of student understanding posed challenges in delivering in-depth materials. The outreach had a positive impact, but requires ongoing support and follow-up programs to ensure students continue to apply the knowledge gained in their daily use of social media.

Abstract

Purpose: The study investigates the role that involvement of students in university organizations plays concerning digital entrepreneurial intention among the university students during the digital economy era. The study seeks to understand organizational participation in shaping entrepreneurial skills and mindset among the students. Method: The study design is quantitative in nature. The research sampled 69 computer science students. Analysis uses the TPB, utilizing regression and structural equation modeling to quantify the relationship of student organizational involvement with factors like attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and self-efficacy, added factors namely innovativeness and digital entrepreneurial education. Findings: Results showed that while self-efficacy and student organizational involvement proved to be significant predictors of digital entrepreneurial intention, attitudes, innovativeness, and subjective norms were not. That could suggest a process of developing digital entrepreneurial intentions, which may place more importance on the confidence in one's abilities and active participation in organizations rather than general attitudes or social pressures from the outside.  Originality: Unique in its focus on the nexus between student organizational involvement and digital entrepreneurship, this study offers new insights into how universities can foster digital entrepreneurial intentions by enhancing the students' self-efficacy and fostering active engagement in student organizations.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) management differs significantly from that of Senior High Schools (SMA), particularly in managing technical programs and teacher responsibilities. This study investigates the effects of vocational program management and teacher performance on learning quality in public SMKs in Bireuen Regency, Aceh. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via surveys from 176 teachers and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results show that both teacher performance and vocational program quality positively and significantly influence learning quality, with teacher performance also exerting an indirect effect. These findings underscore the importance of integrated program planning and teacher development to enhance student learning outcomes in vocational education. The study highlights the need for systemic alignment between program content and educator competencies to support the learning needs of SMK students. While focused on a specific regional context, the findings offer relevant insights for broader vocational education reform initiatives.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of housing markets in developing countries, driven by economic, geographic, social, and cultural dynamics, calls for a comprehensive understanding of factors influencing real estate purchase intention. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of 171 Scopus-indexed articles published between 2015 and 2025, aiming to map the intellectual landscape and identify research patterns in this domain. Using tools such as Scopus Analyze, VOSviewer, and Biblioshiny, the study examines publication trends, influential works, thematic clusters, and international co-authorship networks. Findings highlight the dominance of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in explaining consumer decisions, with purchase intention, attitude, and perceived behavioral control emerging as core constructs. Key thematic clusters include sustainability, housing policy, digital integration in decision-making, and cultural perceptions. Despite growing attention to green housing and environmental sustainability, topics such as feng shui and ethnocentrism remain underexplored. The study contributes to a deeper conceptual and methodological understanding of consumer behavior in housing markets and offers direction for future interdisciplinary research focused on inclusive and sustainable housing development.

Abstract

This research examines the role of LMX in improving teacher creativity conducted by principals by using LMX theory. This research studies whether the principals show their maximal role in LMX and participate, empower, and collaborate with teachers to improve and increase school quality. So far, there are no apparent effects of LMX on teacher creativity. We try to examine the relationship between creativity and the role of LMX as a source of relations for teachers. The data were collected from 165 teachers and 19 principals in the Education Office in Bandung City, Indonesia. The statistical analysis used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with smartPLS 3.0 software. We found out that LMX still has adverse effects when the principals have regulated and limited their participation, empowerment, and collaboration in LMX, so they have obstacles in showing their creativity. Through this research, we expect that the LMX practices based on professional effect, loyalty, contribution, and respect will greatly benefit teacher creativity; thus, principals must improve their communication and setting of shared works. Results of this research propose that friendship, mutual shares with good interpersonal communication, participation, empowerment, and collaboration are important aspects for principals to stimulate creativity.
