Abstract

Berbicara mengenai mutu pendidikan, akan berkaitan langsung dengan peran sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan. Pengelolaan belajar mengajar di sekolah sangat berarti dalam menentukan keberhasilan siswa. Untuk mencapai mutu sekolah yang baik, biaya pendidikan harus dikelola dengan optimal. Oleh karena itu, tahapan pada manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan perlu diperhatikan. Pada dasarnya tujuan manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan adalah terselenggaranya proses pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik yang diharapkan. Manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan di SMK berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, artinya kepala sekolah pada SMK telah mampu melaksanakan manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan secara maksimal mulai dari perencanaan pembiayaan dan penganggaran, implementasi pembiayaan, pengawasan dan pengendalian pembiayaan dan pertanggung jawaban atau akuntabilitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini beranjak dari permasalahan kurang jelasnya pengalokasian dana secara efektif, efisien dalam melaksanakan proses pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai adalah  “Rumusan tentang efektivitas dan efisiensi pembiayaan”. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah  Return on investment sebesar 37 %, artinya layak dilaksanakan. Hubungan biaya dengan manfaat pendidikan sebesar 73%, artinya, biaya memberikan kontribusi terhadap produktivitas ekonomi.This research based on the problems of lack of clarity in the allocation of funds effectively, efficiency in implementing the educational process. Research objectives to be achieved is "formulation of the effectiveness and efficiency of financing". The results obtained are the return on investment by 37%, that is feasible. Relationships with educational benefit costs by 73%, that is, the cost give contributing to economic productivity.

Abstract

The role of the principal is important for directing school life to achieve school goals. The principal appointment is attained through formal and rational consideration, determined by procedures, requirements, and regulations. This study is concerned with the development of performance appraisal model of junior high school principals and is aimed to achieve the following aims: 1) to detect rules and system regarding principals performance appraisal; 2) to verify and describe components, process and measures results of principals appraisal, and 3) to analyse Performance Based required by principals; and 4) to generate hypothetical models of principal performance appraisals in junior high school level. In order to have principals with all standard criteria, efforts to improve principal professional capacities are needed to conduct in a well-planned manner through continuous quality improvement. These improvements are mapped out intermittently so that principals profiles based on measures results of Principals Performance Appraisal can be put into actual. Performance appraisal is designed to identify data on principals performance.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Education and Training Program Against Job Performance Employees at Pusdiklat Ir. H. Juanda PT.KAI (Persero) Bandung ". Issues examined in this study concerning the education and training programs and their influence on job performance of employees at the Training Center Ir. H. Juanda PT.KAI (Persero) Bandung with the object of study participantsTraining.Generally, this study aims to find out and get a picture of the influence of education and training programs at the Training Center Ir. H. Juanda PT.KAI (Persero) Bandung. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data collection technique was conducted by questionnaire enclosed, with a sample of 30 participants that education and training education and training in the period from May 2016. Analysis of the calculations in this study using a support program Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS for Windows version 23.0.Based on calculations using the formula Weight Means Score (WMS), an overview of variable X (Education and Training) that are in the very good category with an average score of 4:06. While the general description of the variable Y (Job Performance) in the excellent category, with an average score of 424. Correlation variables X and Y have a significant relationship. It can be seen from the results of the correlation coefficient of 0.650 which is in a strong and significant category, with a coefficient of determination of 38% as well as the results of the regression analysis is Y = 0.518 + 75,201 that are significant and linear.Conclusion The study says education and training programs have a significant effect on the performance of employees in Pusdiklat Ir. H. Juanda PT.KAI (Persero) Bandung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar adanya hasil pengamatan ada beberapa lulusan SMK sudah mampu bersaing dengan lulusan pendidikan tinggi, tetapi hal tersebut masih sebagian kecilnya saja dan itupun bagi lulusan yang memang mempunyai daya juang dan kreativitas yang tinggi. Walaupun inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan sekolah dan daya dukung dari pihak dunia usaha dan industry disinyalir terjadi peningkatan, namun tetap saja menimbulkan permasalahan yang sepertinya mengulang masalah lalu. Model Pengembangan Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan kaitannya dengan efektivitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan SMK di Kota Bandung bertujuan untuk: 1) Memverifikasi dan mendeskripsikan data tentang rencana dan program pendidikan yang dikembangkan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu dan relevansi pendidikan, 2) Memverifikasi, mendeskripsikan dan memaknai strategi pelaksanaan rencana dan program pendidikan pada SMKN di Kota Bandung, 3) Memverifikasi dan mendeskripsikan pengawasan yang dilaksanakan oleh pimpinan sekolah, dan 4) Memverifikasi upaya-upaya perbaikan guna mewujudkan pendidikan yang bermutu dan relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia industri. Hasil penelitian sementara ini menemukan bahwa secara prinsipnya sekolah sudah mempunyai model manajemen mutu, dengan mengembangkan system penjaminan mutu berbasis pada ISO 9001:2008. Namun, system tersebut baru hanya sebatas pada prosedur dan prasyarat untuk kepentingan akteditasi dan menarik perhatian bagi pengguna jasa pendidikan, belum sepenuhnya menjadi landasan atau dasar dalam menjalankan proses pendidikan yang dapat menghasilkan lulusan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia usaha dan industry. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka sudah sewajarnya penelitian yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan model manajemen mutu pendidikan di SMK perlu dilakukan, sebagai bahan pertimbangan dan rujukan dalam rangka lebih meningkatkan hasil pendidikan yang bermutu.Kata Kunci: manajemen mutu, perencanaan mutu, pengendalian/pengendalaian mutu, dan penjaminan mutu

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to support and analyze the management of educational funding in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Bandung. The specific objectives in this study, namely: 1) To identify the management of educational funding at SMK in Bandung, 2) To identify the quality of SMK in the city of Bandung, and 3) To find out the role of financial management in improving the quality of education in SMK. This study is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data source is taken from 32 school principals. The results showed that the management of educational funding had a positive and significant effect on school quality that was equal to 58.7%. The regression equation that is obtained linearly means that the higher the management of education funding, the higher the quality of schools in Vocational High Schools in Bandung.

Abstract

The success of school principals in changing the work culture of a better school depends on the mindset of change they have. This study seeks to prove whether or not there is an influence on the principal's mindset of leadership on work culture in schools. The research was conducted on 156 state Junior High School’s teachers in West Bandung Regency, West Java. Through survey methods and quantitative approaches, the data obtained were analyzed using correlation technique analysis.  The results showed that the principal's mindset had a significant correlation with school's work culture. This is based on Pearson's correlation value of 0.510, and included in the strong correlation category. As a recommendation, school principals must have a transformative, innovative and visionary principal’s mindset in building a work culture in schools.

Abstract

Several previous research have described transformational leadership as successful leadership that led higher education to implement changes for the better. However, a more comprehensive survey on the implementation of transformational leadership in higher education has not been conducted. This research aims at observing a transformational leadership style with the model 4I, namely idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, and inspirational motivation, which is applied to higher education comprehensively. A survey method with questionnaires taken from lecturers working at higher education in Indonesia was used in this research. The findings revealed that attention given to individuals and reducing penalty towards any mistakes by subordinates must be given more attention so that the application of complete combination between one dimension and other dimensions and each indicator of transformational leadership must be carried out. This research is expected to have implications for the effectiveness of higher education leadership, and be used as a reference by higher education leaders in choosing a leadership style.

Abstract

This study is focused on examining the management of improving the quality of lecturers in research at universities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative in Private Universities in Bandung involving respondents from university leaders, the Directorate of PPM, deans, study programs and lecturers. The results of the research show that the implemented policy becomes an element of determination in managerial aspects of safety in terms of success targets, research evaluation, and research. In the aspect of personal management, research development is carried out for lecturers capable of making proposals, attending scientific forums nationally and internationally and providing research incentives and scientific publications. While in the managerial aspects of society, the improvement of the quality of lecturers in research is designed as a form of contribution to solving problems in the community which is an emphasis on improving the ability of lecturers to conduct research.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum maksimalnya kinerja guru dan kepala TK di Kota Bandung. Untuk mewujudkan kinerja yang baik diperlukan kompetensi kerja guru dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran (instructional leadership) kepala TK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kontribusi kompetensi kerja guru dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala TK terhadap kinerja mengajar guru TK di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan populasi berjumlah 2.216, dengan sampel 299 guru TK di Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kompetensi dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi kerja guru berada pada kategori cukup dan umumnya variabel kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala TK dan kinerja mengajar guru cenderung berada pada kategori sangat baik. Uji korelasi ketiga variabel menunjukkan hubungan positif. Kompetensi kerja guru berkontribusi cukup tinggi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Sedangkan kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala TK berkontribusi tinggi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Secara simultan kompetensi kerja guru dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala TK berkontribusi tinggi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Rekomendasi penelitian ini yaitu : 1) Adanya upaya peningkatan kompetensi kerja guru TK baik secara individual maupun kelembagaan, 2) kepala TK harus mempertahankan kepemimpinan pembelajaran, meningkatkan pemantauan serta pemberian umpan balik terhadap proses belajar mengajar, 3) rekrutmen guru dan kepala TK hendaknya mempertimbangkan kualifikasi pendidikan calon guru dan kepala TK.   Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Kerja Guru, Kepemimpinan Pembelajaran, Kinerja Mengajar Guru AbstractThis research is motivated by not maximal performance of teachers and principals of kindergartens in the city of Bandung. To achieve good performance necessary competence and leadership of teacher learning (instructional leadership) principals of kindergartens. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of teacher competence and leadership learning kindergarten head of the kindergarten teachers' teaching performance in Bandung. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach, and a population of 2,216, with a sample of 299 kindergarten teachers in Bandung. Collecting data using competency tests and questionnaires. The results showed competence of teachers working in the category fairly and generally variable learning leadership and performance of teaching kindergarten head teachers tend to be in very good category. The third variable correlation test showed a positive relationship. Job competence of teachers is high enough to contribute to the performance of teachers to teach. While the head of the kindergarten instructional leadership contributing to the performance of teachers to teach high. Simultaneously, work competency of teachers and instructional leadership kindergarten head height contributing to the performance of teachers to teach. Recommendations of this study are: 1) There is an effort to increase the competence of kindergarten teachers work both individually and institutionally, 2) principals of kindergartens should maintain instructional leadership, improve monitoring and providing feedback on teaching and learning, 3) recruitment of teachers and the head of the kindergarten should consider qualifying education prospective kindergarten teachers and principals.                                           Keywords: Competence Of Teachers’ Work, Leadership Learning (Instructional Leadership), Teachers' Teaching Performance
