Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the perspective of millennials in the city of Bengkulu on the phenomenon of artist vlog content. Data collection techniques that researchers use are interviews, documentation and observation. The data collection technique was purposive sampling by taking five informants from the millennial generation of Bengkulu city. After the data was obtained, it was analyzed using a descriptive qualitative study where the researcher conducted interviews with each informant for completeness of the data. This study uses the Merleau-Ponty perceptual phenomenology theory. The results of the research and discussion show that the millennial generation has the same perspective on the phenomenon of artist vlog content.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the process of forming self-identity in the Hip-Hop music community of Plakntone.Ind in Bengkulu City. The theory used in this study is the theory of symbolic interactionism according to George Herbert Mead (in Morissan, 2013: 225). This research uses qualitative research methods in collecting data from the field, namely through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of the study stated that on the community aspect, the Planktone.Ind community founded this Hip-Hop music community to expand relations and be able to interact with the community through songs. In terms of self, the existence of the Planktone.Ind community can be accepted by society because Hip-Hop music is basically a mecca for today's music accompanied by DJ music. In the aspect of the mind, seen at the time of making the Planktone.Ind community symbol where there was debate and mutual opinion among community members. The conclusion drawn from this study is that symbolic interactionism occurs in the process of forming the self-identity of the Planktone.Ind community as a Hip-Hop music community.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the therapeutic communication process in counseling guidance at SMAN 01 Bengkulu City. The theory used is Northouse's theory of therapeutic communication (in Suryani, 2005). This research is qualitative research in exploring data from the field, namely through in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation. The research results stated that at the preparation stage (pre-interaction), initially before conducting counseling the teacher knew the problems the students were experiencing. Introductory stage (orientation), talk first about the problem, if it is not efficient, take it straight to the guidance room. Work stage, thinking about further understanding students' willingness to solve the problems they face. Next is the initiation stage, in counseling guidance there has been a change in the student.
