Abstract

This study discusses the industry analysis of Grand Pet Shop, a pet shop located in Batam City, Indonesia. The analysis focuses on the Five Forces Competition Model, Customer Value, and Industry Analysis of Grand Pet Shop as a small and medium-sized enterprise (UMKM). The results of the analysis indicate that Grand Pet Shop falls into the moderate-level strategic category. However, it is also classified as an unattractive business due to the high levels of competition, the threat of new entrants, and the threat of substitute products. Grand Pet Shop has effectively implemented customer value in its business operations. To further improve customer satisfaction and attract more clients, the author suggests that Grand Pet Shop should collaborate with veterinarians to provide services for sick or vaccinated pets. Additionally, offering discounts, rewards, and other incentives could be a viable strategy to increase the number of customers. Overall, despite the challenges in the industry, Grand Pet Shop has the potential to thrive with the right strategic adjustments and a focus on enhancing customer value.

Abstract

One indicator of the cause of inflation is. Inflation and Unemployment have a role in making fiscal and monetary decisions of a country in improving its economic conditions. The purpose of this study is to analyze policies related to the threat of risk after the increase in inflation in the city of Malang. The data processing technique used in this research is qualitative, which is done by collecting the data that is roughly needed. The results revealed that the highest number of expenses in Malang City in 2021 with a total of 63.531, while the lowest number in 2019 with a total of 40.104. The highest amount of inflation in Malang City is in 2014, while the lowest inflation is in 2020. Fiscal policies that can be implemented the government in reducing the levels of movement, namely opening up job opportunities, adding State-Owned Enterprises, and creating job training centers to overcome the impact of inflation the government can make policies; reducing unexpected spending, offering support for 2% of the general allocation fund, increasing tax rates and providing maximum prices for certain goods.

Abstract

UMKM Aneka Rasa, yang telah beroperasi selama lebih dari tujuh tahun, menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan daya saing di tengah persaingan industri kuliner modern. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dirancang dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan daya tarik produk melalui perancangan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) penjualan, pengembangan kemasan ramah lingkungan, dan pembaruan logo merek. Menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), kegiatan ini melibatkan observasi, wawancara, penerapan solusi, dan evaluasi berbasis data kuantitatif. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa inovasi tersebut memberikan dampak positif terhadap efisiensi operasional, citra merek, dan keberlanjutan produk, dengan mayoritas pelanggan menyatakan kepuasan tinggi terhadap perubahan yang dilakukan. Tingkat kepuasan ini dicapai melalui perbaikan dalam proses penjualan, desain kemasan yang menarik, dan logo baru yang modern. Proyek ini menyimpulkan bahwa inovasi operasional dan branding mampu meningkatkan daya saing UMKM Aneka Rasa sekaligus mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

Introduction; This research explores the factors influencing purchase intention through live streaming shopping in the fashion sector on social commerce platforms in Batam City. With the rising popularity of online shopping through interactive streaming channels, it is essential to understand the key determinants of consumer purchasing behavior in this context. The research model integrates constructs of interactivity, informativeness, professionalism, attitude, and impulsiveness as potential predictors of purchase intention, with trust serving as a mediator. Methods; Data was collected through an online survey of active live streaming shopping users in Batam. Measurement metrics utilized a 5-point Likert scale to assess these variables. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results; The analysis results reveal that interactivity, professionalism, and attitude have a significant positive impact on both trust and purchase intention. Informativeness positively influences trust but does not significantly affect purchase intention, while impulse buying positively affects purchase intention without influencing trust. Conclusion; Trust plays a strong mediating role in the relationships between interactivity, professionalism, attitude, and informativeness with purchase intention, except for impulse buying. These findings provide valuable insights for marketers in designing more effective marketing strategies through live streaming channels and are expected to enhance understanding of consumer shopping behavior.

Abstract

This article contains an analysis of the influence of cultural factors on international business at PT Mayora Indah Tbk which consists of managerial orientations, the four risks of international business, and SWOT analysis at PT Mayora Indah Tbk. The qualitative method is a method used by researchers to analyze companies by means of secondary data analysis. The results of the study show that PT Mayora Indah Tbk is able to meet the market in Indonesia so that it is able to develop to a larger stage with target markets namely countries in Asia, and the company still has to increase product innovation, promote its products in international markets, and make strategies appropriate marketing in order to develop its international business.
