Abstract

Beberapa tahun terakhir, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat. Pesatnya perkembangan TIK menjadikan internet sebagai alat komunikasi utama yang sangat diminati oleh masyarakat. Hal inilah yang melatar belakangi perubahan teknologi komunikasi dari konvensional menjadi modern dan serba digital. Perkembangan penggunaan media internet sebagai sarana komunikasi ini pun menjadi semakin pesat setelah internet mulai dapat diakses melalui telephone seluler dan bahkan kemudian muncul istilah telepon cerdas (smartphone). Dengan hadirnya Smartphone, fasilitas yang disediakan dalam berkomunikasi pun semakin beraneka macam, mulai dari sms, mms, chatting, email, browsing serta fasilitas sosial media. Menurut Nasrullah (2015) media sosial adalah medium di internet yang memungkinkan pengguna merepresentasikan dirinya maupun berinteraksi, bekerja sama, berbagi, berkomunikasi dengan pengguna lain membentuk ikatan sosial secara virtual. Dalam media sosial, tiga bentuk yang merujuk pada makna bersosial adalah pengenalan (cognition), komunikasi (communicate) dan kerjasama (cooperation) Media sosial adalah sebuah media online, dengan para penggunanya bisa dengan mudah berpartisipasi, berbagi dan menciptakan isi meliputi blog, jejaring sosial, forum dan dunia virtual. Dalam dunia pendidikan media sosial pun ikut berperan penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pelajar. Menggunakan media sosial agar dapat memicu kualitas pelajar adalah memanfaatkan segala kemudahan berkomunikasi dan berbagi informasi yang dimiliki media tersebut untuk proses pendidikan atau pembelajaran. Lebih efektif, efesien, dan percepatan informasi secara menyeluruh. Beberapa media sosial yang dapat berperan dalam dunia pendidikan yang mampu memicu kualitas pelajar, diantaranya adalah Facebook, Twitter, Blog, dan Youtube. Kualitas pelajar bisa menjadi lebih baik saat memanfaatkan media sosial semaksimal mungkin, dengan cara meminimalisir dampak negatifnya. Facebook dan Twitter adalah jejaring sosial yang banyak digunakan oleh para pelajar, sistem pertemanan dan pertukaran informasi yang sangat mudah dilakukan di situs inilah yang menyebabkan banyaknya pelajar yang memiliki akun tersebut.

Abstract

Effectiveness and implementation in curriculum development is very dependent on the competence of teachers and the facilities available in schools. It is considered capable of articulating the topics contained in the curriculum. In addition, the success of curriculum development also depends on the management of each teacher. Each of the existing components must be appropriate and well realized. With the suitability and accuracy of each component in the curriculum, it is hoped that the goals and objectives of education will be achieved optimally. Curriculum management is very important, because without management education will not run well. A curriculum that is developed will be meaningless if it is not implemented, in the sense that it is actually used in schools. The success of curriculum management is primarily determined by the aspects of planning and implementing strategies. Curriculum implementation as an integral part of curriculum development requires concepts, principles and procedures as well as management approaches. This study emphasizes the policy of the school leadership at SD Negeri 173423 Lumban Naungkup in implementing curriculum management. The curriculum used at SD Negeri 173423 Lumban Naungkup for grades I to VI uses the 2013 curriculum. Curriculum planning at SD Negeri 173423 Lumban Naungkup uses lesson plans and syllabus as a reference for teachers to teach in class.Keywords: Implementation, Curriculum, Management;

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Principal Leadership and Teacher Discipline with Teacher Professionalism at Public Junior High Schools in Parlilitan District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, both simultaneously and partially, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant relationship between Principal Leadership and Teacher Discipline with Teacher Professionalism at Public Junior High Schools in Parlilitan District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This study uses a quantitative method approach. The population in the study were all teachers of Public Junior High Schools in Parlilitan District, totaling 104 people with a sample of 76 people. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire, which was compiled by the researcher based on the research variable indicators. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 people who were not research samples, and has been tested with validity and reliability tests. This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between Principal Leadership and Teacher Professionalism at Public Junior High Schools in Parlilitan District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between Principal Leadership and Teacher Discipline with Teacher Professionalism at Public Middle Schools in Parlilitan District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, both simultaneously and partially.
