Abstract

This research focuses on the influence of advertising on the purchasing decisions of Suzuki motorcycles at PT. Sanggar Mas Jaya, Cibeureum-Bandung. In the context of intense competition in the automotive industry, the effectiveness of advertising becomes a key factor that can determine sales success. However, the complexity in determining effective advertising strategies, considering the variations in consumer preferences and their changing behaviors, makes this topic important to research. Using a descriptive verification method with a causal design, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 99 respondents who are users of Suzuki motorcycles in the PT. Sanggar Mas Jaya area. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression techniques, correlation tests, and hypothesis testing to evaluate the relationship between advertising variables and purchasing decisions. The research results indicate that advertising has a positive and significant impact on the purchasing decisions of Suzuki motorcycles at PT. Sanggar Mas Jaya. The level of influence is classified as strong, with advertising contributing 42.2% to the purchasing decision process. The remaining influence is affected by other factors that were not examined in this study. This result emphasizes the importance of effective advertising strategies in boosting sales.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how TikTok influences online shopping behavior among Generation Z, particularly in the city of Bandung. The main issue raised is how the interactive features and content offered by TikTok influence the purchasing decisions of Generation Z, which is increasingly dominating the digital market. This research also examines the factors that motivate and influence online shopping decisions, both rational and irrational. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with participants selected purposively based on specific criteria such as age (18-25 years), frequency of TikTok usage, and shopping experience through the platform. The data was then analyzed using thematic analysis methods to identify shopping behavior patterns and the influence of TikTok on consumer decisions. The research findings indicate that TikTok plays a significant role in influencing the shopping behavior of Generation Z in the city of Bandung. As many as 89% of respondents admitted to frequently making purchases after seeing products on TikTok, with the main motivations being special discounts (67%) and recommendations from influencers (15%). This finding underscores the importance of TikTok as an effective digital marketing platform, even though there are still challenges related to trust in influencer recommendations and consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine whether visual branding innovation and facility design have an impact on enhancing customer value, both concurrently and partially, at Unkl347 in Bandung. Customers are the driving force behind business competition, prompting entrepreneurs to strive for innovation to attract and compete for customers. This research employs a descriptive and verifiable approach, utilizing descriptive and verifiable research methods. The data is collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and persistent company data. Primary data is gathered from a sample of 100 respondents. The analysis method employed is path analysis. The findings of this study demonstrate that facility design exerts a greater influence than visual branding innovation on customer value. Therefore, it is advisable to maintain and enhance facility design, while visual branding innovation should be evaluated consistently considering customer opinions to advance company progress and profitability, ultimately achieving a competitive edge among various clothing entrepreneurs in Bandung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Manajemen Supervisi Akademik oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia (Studi deskriptif di SMPN 1 dan SMPN 3 Lembang serta SMPN 1 Parongpong Kab. Bandung Barat Provinsi Jawa Barat). Berdasarkan hasil UKG Guru SMP di Kab. Bandung Barat tahun 20l5 dengan raihan nilai umumnya masih dibawah nilai 60. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat profesionalitas guru masih rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan kompetensi guru khsusnya dalam kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi professional akan membawa dampak terhadap rendahnya mutu pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru. Tujuan penelitian adalah ingin mengetahui (1) perencanan, (2) pengorganisasian, (3) pelaksanaan, (4) evaluasi, (5) faktor penghambat dan pendukung, serta (6) solusi dalam supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMPN kab Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh teori manajemen dan teori supervisi. Penenelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metoda penelitian deskriptif analitik. Tehnik penelitian yang digunakan adalah tehnik Observasi, Wawancara dan Studi Dokumentasi/ Perpustakaan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh antara lain (1) perencanaan kurang memperhatikan esensi tujuan perencanaan yang mencerminkan tujuan supervisi akademik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan nyata para Guru khususnya guru Bahasa Indonesia. (2) Dari segi pengorganisasian dalam pengaturan tugas dan fungsi supervisi serta pembagian tugas supervisi antara Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah atau Guru Senior yang dipandang profesional masih belum tegas dan jelas, sedangkan dalam pengaturan sarana dan sumberdaya penunjang supervisi sudah baik. (3) Pada pelaksanaan supervisi akademik secara umum telah berjalan dan setiap guru memperoleh pembinaan supervisi akademik minimal satu kali dalam satu semester. (4) Evaluasi supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah belum memiliki instrumen evaluasi supervisi yang kongkrit tentang standar - standar pembelajaran yang efektif setiap mata pelajaran, khususnya untuk mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. (5) Faktor hambatan supervisi akademik disebabkan faktor benturan tugas Kepala sekolah saat harus melaksanakan supervsi akademik dengan tugas lain yang mendadak dari Dinas Pendidikan yang harus dihadiri Kepala Sekolah. (6) Sebagai upaya mengatasi masalah, kepala sekolah mendelegasikan kewenangan supervisi akademik kepada wakil dan guru senior. Penulis merekomendasikan kepada kepala sekolah agar menetapkan tujuan supervisi yang jelas sesuai dengan kebutuhan peningkatan kompetensi guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Kemudian bagi guru hendaknya lebih menyadari tuntutan peningkatan kompetensi guru di era global ini, serta menerima dengan baik kegiatan supervisi akademik sebagai wahana peningkatan kompetensi guru. Bagi Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Olah Raga dan Pemuda Kab. Bandung Barat agar lebih meningkatkan kerjasama dengan Universitas terkait untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui seminar, workshop, atau pelatihan guru. Dan bagi peneliti selajutnya agar mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai Supervisi akademik dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme mengajar guru.

Abstract

The aviation industry is one of the transportation sectors that has an important role in supporting community mobility and the economy of a country. PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk and PT AirAsia Indonesia are two airline companies in Indonesia that offer a variety of flight services with different market segmentations. The Indonesian aviation industry has experienced a negative impact due to Covid-19, where at the national level the flow of passengers from cargo has decreased quite fantastically from March 2020 to April 2020. Not only at the national level these two airlines also experienced a decrease in the number of passengers during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, causing these two airlines to experience a significant decrease in revenue and profit in that period which had an impact on the ability of these two airlines to meet financial obligations and maintain their financial performance. This study attempts to assess the financial performance of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk and PT AirAsia Indonesia by using Liquidity Ratio analysis which includes Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Cash Ratio, Cash Turnover Ratio and Inventory to Net Working Capital, with data taken from financial statements for the 2019-2023 period. Both airlines experienced a significant decline based on five main financial ratios. The liquidity ratios of both companies are low which indicates difficulty in meeting short-term obligations.

Abstract

Human resources in a company is a valuable asset because it can affect the existence of an organization in the future. Each company has different management rules in creating good performance for its human resources. Good performance management will create high performance productivity in the organization. There are many factors that affect employee performance, including educational background and experience. Researchers formulate the problem on the impact of human resource management with the aim of measuring performance. This study aims to find out how human resource management affects employee performance. The research method used is descriptive quantitative which describes the data obtained from Husna Hijab Bandung. The results of the analysis show that the factors that influence performance,, effectiveness and independence. Kata Kunci: Educational background, experience, performance.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed the way organizations design and implement management control systems (MCS). This article aims to examine the fundamental concepts of MCS and explore its implementation in the digital era through a literature review. The method used is a review of current academic and practical sources. The findings indicate that information technology, business process automation, and real-time data-based systems have enhanced the effectiveness of MCS, but they also pose new challenges such as data security and resistance to organizational cultural change. The article concludes with strategic recommendations for organizations seeking to develop adaptive MCS in the digital era.
