Abstract

The state of Islamic education in Indonesia actually faces a very worries fate, especially Islamic education faces various problems and gaps in more complex aspects. In the development of Islamic education, the education of the Prophet is the education adopted in the Islamic education system in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with case study method. Data were collected using observation, interview, and analysis techniques. This study focuses on student analysis in understanding the educational curriculum at the time of the Prophet Muhammad, as an effort to realize effective education and achieve educational curriculum goals, and students are expected to become the relay generation of educators who are exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children due to long-term malnutrition. The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia remains high, with reduction targets not yet achieved. Posyandu (integrated health service posts) and their cadres play a crucial role in efforts to reduce stunting cases through nutrition education and early detection. The aim of this community service activity was to improve the skills of cadres in measuring body length and height, which are then integrated with WhatsApp Auto Responding (WAR) for early stunting detection. The methods used include socialization, training on measuring nutritional status of toddlers, application of WAR technology, as well as program mentoring and evaluation. The activity was carried out at Posyandu Dahlia, Kabasiran Village, targeting 26 posyandu cadres in August 2024. The results of the activity show that there was a significant improvement in cadres' skills in anthropometric measurements and the use of WAR technology for stunting detection (p<0.05). Program evaluation indicates an increase in cadres' knowledge and skills in conducting measurements and early stunting detection. The conclusion of this activity was that empowering posyandu cadres through training and technology application can enhance the effectiveness of early stunting detection in the community, supporting efforts to reduce stunting prevalence at the posyandu level.

Abstract

Children with Special Needs (CSN/ABK) face complex nutritional risk due to sensory, motor, and medication challenges, yet parents and companion teachers often lack specific and credible nutrition literacy. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a digital health literacy-based nutrition education intervention in improving the nutrition knowledge of CSN parents and teachers. This study utilizes a quasi-experimental design without a control group (one-group pretest–posttest design) involving 30 participants, comprising parents and teachers at SLB Ulaka Penca, through a nutritional education approach known as the ENERGY (Education of Nutrition with Digital Literacy) program. The intervention was carried out over approximately three months, consisting of three educational sessions. Each session lasted for about 120 minutes and was delivered through field-based education integrated with digital media.The curriculum encompassed balanced nutrition for children with special needs, nutritional issues and requirements, the daily application of balanced nutrition, and the utilization of digital literacy, further reinforced by documentary videos. For the statistical analysis, knowledge data were processed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, a non-parametric method necessitated by the non-normal distribution of the posttest data. The result shows that a significant increase in the average knowledge score was observed, rising from approx 55.00 to approx 85.00. The Wilcoxon test demonstrated a highly significant difference between pretest and posttest scores p = 0.000. The digital health literacy-based nutrition education intervention proved to be highly effective in improving nutrition knowledge. Utilizing easily accessible digital platforms (WhatsApp and digital booklets) is an appropriate strategy to bridge the gap in specialist nutrition information and ensure educational sustainability for CSN caregivers.Keywords: Children with special needs, digital health literacy, nutrition education.

Abstract

Lansia merupakan kelompok umur yang rentan terhadap berbagai penyakit akibat perubahan fisiologis tubuh. Pada tahap ini, terjadi penurunan fungsi organ yang berdampak pada melemahnya sistem imunitas. Salah satu masalah kesehatan yang umum dialami lansia adalah hipertensi, yang disebabkan oleh penyempitan pembuluh darah sehingga tekanan darah meningkat. Salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis yang dapat digunakan adalah terapi murottal Al-Qur’an karena memiliki efek relaksasi. Laporan pengabdian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan tujuan membuktikan efektivitas terapi murottal Al-Qur’an dalam menurunkan tekanan darah pada lansia. Analisis data dilakukan melalui observasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terapi murottal Al-Qur’an mampu menurunkan tekanan darah dengan rata-rata penurunan sistolik sebesar 18,6 mmHg dan diastolik sebesar 17,1 mmHg. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar lansia dengan hipertensi menggunakan terapi murottal Al-Qur’an sebagai salah satu cara untuk membantu menurunkan tekanan darah Kata Kunci:   Hipertensi, Lansia, Terapi Murotal
