Abstract

This research aims to determine the interaction, meaning of the text and cultural context of netizens in understanding moderation content on KH.Ilham Humaidi's Instagram account is a da'wah strategy in the digital era. The hope is that there will be an openness to national insight that will strengthen national integration, especially in Kalimantan. Researchers used cyber media analysis by collecting data online on the account @khodimukum_humaed. This research shows that Instagram @khodimukum_humaed has become a media that holds religious communities together. Netizens often use cultural artefacts, language and two-way communication models. In digital culture, there is interaction through reposting, liking, commenting, mentioning, and direct messaging followers. Through his account, Guru Ilham Humaidi wishes to provide a more moderate understanding of Islam by Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah, in addition to daily practice, worship and fiqh as a da'wah strategy in the digital era in realizing Islam rahmatan lil alamin.

Abstract

Online learning has become an essential paradigm in the digital era, particularly in responding to the shifting educational landscape. However, challenges related to student motivation and independence persist, often impacting learning outcomes and engagement. This research aims to explore the implementation of strategic online learning methods to enhance motivation and independence among students, particularly in higher education settings. Using a mixed-method approach, this study combines qualitative interviews with quantitative surveys to analyze the factors influencing student engagement. Data were collected from undergraduate students at UIN Antasari, focusing on their experiences and perceptions of online learning strategies during the pandemic. The findings reveal that well-structured online learning strategies, including the integration of flexible scheduling, interactive tools, and self-directed learning modules, significantly enhance students' motivation and independence. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by highlighting the potential of online learning strategies to bridge gaps in traditional education, fostering not only academic success but also personal growth. The insights gained are expected to inform educators, policymakers, and institutions in designing more effective and inclusive online learning environments, particularly within the framework of Islamic education.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penafsiran terhadap pendidikan Islam dari perspektif gender menjadi semakin relevan di tengah upaya menciptakan masyarakat yang adil dan setara. Melalui pendekatan tafsir Al-Misbah karya M. Quraish Shihab, artikel ini mengkaji ulang konstruksi peran gender dalam pendidikan Islam dengan menekankan nilai-nilai kesetaraan, keadilan, dan pemberdayaan perempuan. Tafsir Al-Misbah tidak hanya menyajikan pemahaman keislaman yang kontekstual, tetapi juga menawarkan pembacaan ulang terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang selama ini ditafsirkan secara patriarkal. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menyoroti tiga dimensi utama: sosiologis, ekonomi, dan dakwah. Dalam dimensi sosiologis, pendidikan Islam dipandang sebagai alat untuk mengubah norma sosial yang bias gender. Secara ekonomi, pendidikan diberi makna sebagai jalan bagi perempuan untuk meraih kemandirian dan peran aktif dalam pembangunan. Sementara itu, dari sisi dakwah, pendidikan menjadi medium penyampaian nilai kesetaraan yang rahmatan lil ‘alamin. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Islam yang inklusif dan berbasis keadilan gender merupakan jalan strategis menuju masyarakat yang beradab dan seimbang secara spiritual maupun sosial.  Abstract:  Reinterpreting Islamic education through a gender perspective has become increasingly vital in shaping a just and equitable society. This article draws upon M. Quraish Shihab’s Tafsir Al-Misbah to revisit gender roles in Islamic education, emphasizing the principles of equality, justice, and women’s empowerment. Shihab’s work presents a contextual reading of the Qur’an, challenging patriarchal interpretations and advocating a more balanced theological framework. Employing a qualitative, literature-based approach, the study explores three central dimensions: sociological, economic, and da’wah. Sociologically, Islamic education is framed as a transformative tool to dismantle gender-biased social norms. Economically, it is positioned as a path to empower women towards independence and societal contribution. Through the lens of da’wah, education serves as a platform to convey Islam’s universal message of equality and compassion. The findings reaffirm that a gender-responsive Islamic education  grounded in inclusive values and prophetic justice offers a strategic pathway for fostering a spiritually enriched and socially just community.

Abstract

This study investigates the classification of radical content in Indonesian Da’wah websites using text mining techniques. A content search engine application, developed with PHP, processes queries by comparing results against a database of keywords, classifying content into four categories: red, yellow, green, and white. Manual labeling based on data from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics yielded 126 labeled articles, forming the dataset for classification. The K-nearest neighbors (K-NN) algorithm, with an optimal k value of 7, achieved a classification accuracy of 66.37%, demonstrating its reliability compared to manual methods. The “White” class showed the highest precision and recall. System testing revealed efficient performance, with 0.704 seconds per classification task and 884,656 bytes of memory usage. Future enhancements include incorporating synonym identification for Indonesian keywords and exploring machine learning algorithms such as Naive Bayes and neural networks to improve accuracy. This research highlights the potential for text mining in identifying online radical content while emphasizing the need for system adaptability.

Abstract

Culture is one of the broadcast programs that attract media actors, especially television. The plus value of culture increases, when the media is able to read the wishes of its target audience. Where, Urang Banjar's religious character, who likes to attend taklim assemblies to listen to the tausiah of master teachers, periodically becomes the target of the program set by Duta Tv. In research based on the semiotic approach of signs from Pierce, examined found various forms of icons, indexes and symbols from banjar culture, which were packaged by hosts with resource persons (tuan guru) in Islamic shows. As a local television, Duta Tv is able to re-present (re-presentation) the content of local wisdom of Banjar culture that touches the real life side of its community, wrapped in Islamic values. In addition, Duta Tv carefully chooses the right source with the expectations of his audience, namely an Islamic figure who is thick with his banjar language and dialect. Through the findings of research, Islamic shows on Duta tv have been able to combine local wisdom that has a positive impact on the preservation of Banjar culture and Islam.

Abstract

Era disrupsi digital yang ditandai dengan pesatnya perkembangan kecerdasan buatan telah memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam sistem pendidikan Islam. Dalam hal ini, keluarga sebagai institusi pendidikan pertama dan utama dihadapkan pada tantangan sekaligus peluang baru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman kepada generasi muda. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji urgensi pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis keluarga yang mampu beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi digital dan AI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan multidisipliner, yang mencakup: (1) penelusuran literatur klasik dan kontemporer mengenai konsep pendidikan keluarga dalam Islam; (2) kajian normatif terhadap sumber-sumber utama ajaran Islam, yakni Al-Qur’an dan Hadis, yang membahas peran serta tanggung jawab keluarga dalam pendidikan; dan (3) analisis kontekstual terhadap dinamika tantangan dan peluang pendidikan keluarga Muslim di era modern abad ke-21. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk mencapai efektivitas dalam pendidikan keluarga pada era digital, diperlukan integrasi antara nilai-nilai dasar Islam dengan pendekatan pengasuhan dan pendidikan yang responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Di samping itu, diperlukan suatu model pendidikan keluarga yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada ajaran normatif, tetapi juga adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman, bersifat kolaboratif antara keluarga dan lingkungan, serta kontekstual sesuai dengan realitas sosial masyarakat Muslim masa kini.
