Abstract

This research aims to describe the school principal's efforts to embeded character values in students at State Junior High School 6 Kaur district. Research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Research subjects were the principal, deputy principal, teachers and students at State Junior High School 6 Kaur district. Research data was obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. Research data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The result of research  show that the school principal's efforts in embeded character values in students at State Junior High School 6 Kaur district have a significant role in shaping student character. The school principal is actively involved in designing and implementing programs aimed at developing moral values and positive behavior in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of school principals in improving the professional competence of teachers in North Bengkulu 50 Public Junior High School. Research using descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were school principals and teachers at North Bengkulu 50 Public Junior High School. Research data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. Research data analysis includes data reduction , data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the principal's strategy in increasing the professional competence of teachers in North Bengkulu 50 Public Junior High School was especially good, but the principal needed to find a better and more appropriate strategy for increasing professional competence in the aspect of lesson planning, especially in increasing mastery of learning material, structure , scientific concepts and mindsets that support the subjects being taught.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of academic supervision with the 360 degree method to improve teachers' learning management skills at SD Negeri 2 Wonosari Kec. Megang Sakti Kab. Musi Rawas. The type of research used is school action research. The subjects of this study were 3 class teachers, namely class 1, III and V teachers. The data collection technique is observation or direct observation. The conclusions of the research are 1) The implementation of 360-degree academic supervision has a significant impact on improving teachers' lesson planning skills. This method proved effective in providing comprehensive and constructive feedback, so that teachers can identify areas that need improvement and develop better learning practices. 2) Implementing 360-degree academic supervision is the right step in improving education quality. This method has proven effective in improving teachers' skills, learning quality and the school environment. However, continuous efforts need to be made to overcome the challenges and improve the effectiveness of the supervision program. 3) The implementation of 360-degree academic supervision has shown positive results in improving teachers' learning evaluation skills. However, continuous efforts are needed to overcome the existing challenges and ensure the sustainability of this program. With support from various parties, it is expected that the quality of learning in schools can continue to improve.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe the conditions: the admission system for new students, the implementation of the introduction period to the school environment and the placement of new students at SD Negeri 48 and 58 Lubuklinggau. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method through data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects are principals, teachers and parents of students. The results of the study showed; The PPDB system has eliminated the calistung test, the accuracy of schools determining the path and quota of study groups and the implementation of an integrated web in the registration process. SD Negeri 48 Lubuklinggau has not yet socialized the flow, requirements and guidelines of PPDB through various media; In MPLS, there is minimal active participation of parents/guardians; The placement of students in the classroom uses an integration function (age, gender or registration order).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the management of the microteaching laboratory, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. The method used is qualitative research. Qualitative research is an approach aimed at understanding phenomena by deeply and comprehensively gathering information through interviews, observations, or document analysis.The research findings indicate that the planning has been carried out effectively by the microteaching laboratory's management. However, it is not yet optimal due to the limitation imposed by the fact that the laboratory is also managed by the faculty. The implementation has been done well, although there are some shortcomings, such as budget constraints. The evaluation has been performed reasonably well but not maximally because it only evaluates specific issues rather than the entire process. The follow-up actions are generally adequate, although there is room for improvement since not all issues receive follow-up actions after evaluation. In summary, the research highlights both strengths and areas for improvement in the management of the microteaching laboratory at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, and it suggests that optimizing the planning and evaluation processes, as well as ensuring consistent follow-up, could lead to better overall management of the laboratory.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the contribution of the principal's leadership and work environment to the job satisfaction of state junior high school teachers in Sindang Beliti Ilir District, Rejang Lebong Regency. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation. The research population was 44 teachers using a total sample. Collecting data using questionnaires and data analysis using hypothesis testing with multiple regression formulas. The results showed that there was a positive contribution of the principal's leadership, and the work environment together on teacher job satisfaction of 0.21%. That is, the principal's leadership and a good work environment together increase the job satisfaction of junior high school teachers, Padang Ulak Tanding District, Rejang Lebong Regency

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of identifying social capital in improving quality of State Madrasah Tsanawiyah 1 Kaur. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Research subjects were the principal, deputy principal, teachers, staff and community leaders at state MTs 1 Kaur. Research data was obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. Research data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. Research results show that the importance of social capital as a determining factor in improving the quality of education needs to be done by exploring, developing and optimizing social capital as a strategic key to improving the quality of education at state MTs 1 Kaur.

Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the class teachers at state elementary school 75 kaur district have implemented the principles of learning management well, but there is still room for improvement and further development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physical environment of schools in elementary school number six Manna city, which included: Planning the development of the school's physical environment, promoting the development of the school's physical environment, implementing the development of the school's physical environment, evaluating the school's physical environment development program. Specific research problems, namely: How to plan the development of the school's physical environment ?, How to socialize the development of the school's physical environment, How to carry out the development of the school's physical environment?. The study is an evaluative study, to evaluate the management of the school environment. Subjects are principals, teachers, curriculum sections, students, secondary subjects are people who are in the same environment. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study are: Planning the physical environment at school has not been made formally and planning documentation has not been found. Program evaluation, Factors that inhibit the implementation of the school environment development program are lack of funds. The socialization of the school environment program, although there is no planning of the school environment program, it still exists. The implementation of the school environment program was carried out not by a team. Evaluation of the school environment development program looks at the existing conditions. Suggestions, planning the physical environment at school must be formally developed and documented. Programs need to be socialized. The implementation of the school environment program is carried out according to the plan to form a team. Program evaluation needs to be done with the aim to find out the success of the program in school environment management.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the role of the driving teacher in mobilising the learning community at Public Elementary School 36 Lubuklinggau. The roles in question are learning leader, activator of the community of practice, coach for other teachers, collaborator between teachers, and realising student leadership. This research is a qualitative study using interviews, observation and documentation for data collection. The stages of data management began with data collection, reduction, and conclusion. The conclusion of the research is that the driving teacher has implemented all of his roles, namely as a learning leader, a community of practitioners, a coach for other teachers, a collaborator between teachers and a teacher who embodies student leadership to move the learning community in various forms such as initiators in curriculum preparation, providing coaching to other teachers, initiating various activities in the learning community, involving students in classroom and school leadership
