Abstract

This research was designed with the aim of improving student learning achievement using the differentiation method for grade II elementary school students with science material. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), where the teacher is the implementer of the learning while the researcher is the observer. The use of differentiated instruction can be applied at all school levels, including elementary school (SD). This time, a learning approach was used: Classroom Action Study (PTK) to assess student performance in science and social studies (IPAS). The objectives of this action research are: (a) to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing differentiation learning in improving academic outcomes, (b) the impact of implementing differentiation learning on students' academic OUTCOMES from 2nd year SD Negeri Blimbing 3, Lamongan , to determine. Regency. The analysis results show that the academic performance of students from Cycle I to Cycle III, i.e. H. H., increased significantly.Cycle I (66.68%), Cycle II (77.79%) and Cycle III (88.90%). The conclusion of this research is that the use of differentiated learning effectively increases the academic results and learning outcomes of SD Negeri Blimbing 3 Grade 2 students. This learning model can be used as an effective alternative to science learning at school level. Basic level/MI.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the simulation-based Role Playing method can help students better understand Zakat Fitrah material in Fiqh lessons at MI Tarbiyatul Islam Kraksaan Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were Fiqh teachers and grade V students at the school. The results showed that the simulation-based Role Playing method made learning more interesting and easy to understand. Students are more active because they can act as zakat givers (muzakki), zakat recipients (mustahik), and zakat managers (amil). In this way, they not only learn theory but also experience first-hand how zakat fitrah is done. In addition, this method also makes students more enthusiastic about learning, think more critically, and care more about others. In conclusion, simulation-based Role Playing is very effective for teaching zakat fitrah material because students can understand the concept more realistically. Therefore, Fiqh teachers are advised to use this method to make learning more lively and students understand the lesson more easily.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at MI Al-Falah. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the implementation of HOTS-based learning has begun, particularly through discussions, case studies, and open-ended questions, although it is not yet fully integrated across all learning stages. Assessment practices are still largely focused on lower-order cognitive skills, although teachers have started to incorporate HOTS-based questions. Students responded positively to HOTS-oriented learning activities, showing increased enthusiasm and participation, although some still require guided practice in critical thinking. This study recommends ongoing teacher training and the development of learning strategies that foster high-order thinking from an early stage.
