Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis, mengetahui penggunaan dan makna yang terkandung di dalam bahasa pantun yang digunakan dalam upacara pernikahan adat melayu Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini juga memberikan informasi dan gambaran tentang adanya hubungan semiotik dengan bahasa pantun yang terdapat makna pada pantun tersebut dan juga dapat membantu pembuat pantun dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kreativitas melalui teks bahasa.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan analisis semiotik yang dikembangkan menggunakan teori Roland Barthes ada tiga hal denotasi,konotasi, dan mitos. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah pantun yang diperoleh dari telangkai pantun yang digunakan pada upacara pernikahan adat melayu di Serdang Bedagai. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara menggunakan alat bantu hp, dan buku tulis serta untuk data pelengkap dikutip dari jurnal-jurnal dan dari perpustakan Digital library Universitas Negeri Medan.Kata kunci: semiotik, Roland Barthes, pantun, suku Melayu

Abstract

This study aims to examine the utilization of Linktree application in learning Indonesian Language Observation Report Text in class X MPLB SMK Negeri 7 Medan. The research method used is a case study with the research subjects of class X MPLB students. The research was conducted by observing the use of Linktree in facilitating access to information and learning materials. The results showed that the utilization of Linktree application can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning for students of class X MPLB SMK Negeri 7 Medan. With Linktree, students can easily access various sources of information, references, and links related to lessons provided by the teacher. In addition, the use of Linktree also makes it easier for students to organize and manage learning materials in a structured manner. In the growing context of distance learning, the utilization of Linktree application makes a positive contribution in facilitating the learning process of X MPLB students of SMK Negeri 7 Medan. However, an in-depth understanding of how to use Linktree optimally is needed so that its benefits can be optimized in the context of learning for X MPLB students of SMK Negeri 7 Medan. This research is expected to provide new insights into the application of technology in education and provide recommendations for further development.

Abstract

Abstract

The city of Medan is facing a critical environmental situation due to recurrent flooding that has affected various areas throughout 2024–2025. According to data from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Medan, there are 25 flood-prone points, with 7,699 houses inundated and 24,874 residents affected. This condition is exacerbated by the low level of public awareness regarding environmental cleanliness and unplanned urban development that neglects ecological balance. In response, a community service team from the Department of Indonesian Literature conducted a program entitled “Environmental Awareness Movement through Green Literature” in Dusun III, Tanjung Gusta Village, Sunggal Subdistrict—one of the flood-prone areas in Medan. The program involved approximately 50 young participants and featured two expert speakers: an ecologist and a literary scholar specializing in environmental studies. Participants showed strong enthusiasm throughout the sessions, which included lectures, group discussions, and interactive question-and-answer activities. The materials covered topics such as ecosystem preservation, the impact of waste on water channels, and the role of literature as an educational and inspirational medium for fostering environmental awareness. As a follow-up, participants and the community service team initiated concrete actions such as tree planting, community clean-up activities, and the creation of eco-literary works, including poetry and short stories with ecological themes. The program not only encouraged behavioral change toward environmental stewardship but also aimed to develop youth as role models for environmentally conscious communities. The program outputs include a submitted national journal article, online news coverage, a training module (in progress for ISBN registration), an intellectual property (HAKI) submission, and a documentary video—serving as tangible contributions to environmental sustainability in Medan.
