Abstract

Students' self-confidence plays a very important role in encouraging students to develop their potential. However, many students still feel less confident or insecure, which hinders their development. Seeing this problem, efforts need to be made to help students so that their self-confidence can grow and increase so that they can develop their potential to achieve a future according to what they want. This study aims to raise awareness regarding the need for group counseling services so that students can increase their self-confidence. Group counseling services can be carried out with BK teachers at school. This is an effort to form quality students with high self-confidence. The research method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items For Systematic Reviews And MetaAnalyses) guidelines as a tool for selecting data sources used. Based on the research conducted, it was found that group counseling services carried out by BK teachers for students at school were able to increase self-confidence, especially for students. The results of the research conducted found that there was a difference in the level of students' self-confidence before and after conducting group counseling. The results of this study indicate that students' self-confidence gradually developed to be better when compared to the level of students' self-confidence before conducting group counseling services.

Abstract

The collaboration between guidance and counseling (BK) teachers and psychologists in addressing student issues is crucial for enhancing student well-being and academic achievement. This article explains the importance of this collaboration in supporting the psychosocial and academic development of students. BK teachers provide guidance and counseling support within the educational environment, while psychologists offer specialized knowledge in understanding and addressing psychological issues. Through the integration of knowledge and skills from both professions, educational services can become more holistic and effective in addressing various challenges faced by students. This collaboration ensures that students receive appropriate interventions, enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and develop academically, emotionally, and socially. The roles of teachers and psychologists influencing this collaboration, as well as its benefits for students, teachers, and schools, are also discussed in this article. By understanding the importance of this collaboration, a more inclusive and supportive learning environment can be created for the optimal growth and development of students.

Abstract

Social skills are an important part of student development, especially in the context of social interactions in school environments. However, the digital era and the lack of direct interactions pose unique challenges in the formation of these skills. This article aims to examine the role of counseling in enhancing students' social skills through a systematic literature review. The method used is qualitative descriptive study reviewing various recent journals and scientific publications. The results indicate that both individual and group counseling services can significantly improve students' communication abilities, empathy, cooperation, and conflict resolution. Techniques such as role playing, modeling, group discussions, and humanistic approaches have proven effective. This article recommends strengthening evidence-based counseling services in schools to support students' social skills development.
