Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of mathematics and creative science learning in early childhood education at Al-Kausar Perjuangan Kindergarten. Mathematics learning focuses on introducing numbers and developing counting skills, while science learning emphasizes color recognition and environmental understanding through indoor and outdoor experiments. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that creative integration of mathematics and science through play-based activities enhances children’s curiosity, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Activities such as rainbow experiments, gardening, tug-of-war, arranging bottle caps, storytelling, watercolor exploration, singing, and making picture frames from ice cream sticks effectively foster motivation and support cognitive, motor, and social development. These engaging and meaningful learning experiences help children gain a deeper understanding of basic mathematical and scientific concepts while maintaining enjoyment in the learning process. The study concludes that implementing creative, contextual, and play-oriented strategies is essential to stimulate interest, encourage active participation, and strengthen the foundation of mathematical and scientific literacy in early childhood education.

Abstract

Stunting and malnutrition in early childhood remain serious global health issues, particularly in Indonesia. According to the 2022 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI), the national stunting prevalence reached 21.6%, a decrease from the previous year, but still above the WHO threshold of 20%. This situation reflects a gap between nutritional intervention theory and the reality of implementation in the field, particularly in the aspect of early detection of growth and development. This study used a literature review method by reviewing various relevant national and international research results from 2019–2024. The results indicate that the implementation of the Early Growth and Development Stimulation, Detection, and Intervention (SDIDTK) program plays a crucial role in identifying growth and development disorders due to malnutrition and stunting in early childhood. Integrated implementation of SDIDTK with health and education services has been shown to increase the effectiveness of interventions and accelerate the reduction of stunting rates. In conclusion, strengthening the early detection system for growth and development through cross-sectoral synergy is a fundamental strategy for creating a healthy and high-quality generation of Indonesian children.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze Islamic values ??embodied in parenting practices and their application in the lives of modern Muslim families. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through library research, this study examined various academic sources such as journals, books, and scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025. The results show that Islamic parenting is based on the values ??of monotheism, compassion (rahmah), responsibility (amanah), discipline, honesty, and role models (uswah hasanah). These values ??are the main foundation in shaping the character of children who are faithful, have noble morals, and are competitive in the global era. The implementation of Islamic parenting is not only through verbal teaching, but also through habituation, role models, and compassionate communication. In the digital era, challenges such as the influence of technology and differences in values ??between generations require parents to integrate Islamic principles with modern parenting approaches. Thus, Islamic values ??remain relevant and can serve as effective guidelines in forming harmonious families and a generation of Muslims who are noble and adaptive to current developments.
