Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Kahoot teaching media in enhancing interest in learning the Arabic language among eleventh-grade students at Senior High School 1 Ngawi, East Java. The study utilized quantitative research methods with a quasi-experimental research design. The data for this research were collected from eleventh-grade students. The data collection involved interviews with teachers and respondents, as well as the distribution of questionnaires before and after using Kahoot for learning. Descriptive statistics and the Likert scale were employed for data analysis, along with hypothesis testing in the form of a t-test. The research results indicate that the use of Kahoot teaching media is effective in promoting interest in the Arabic language subject among eleventh-grade religious students at Senior High School 1 Ngawi. This is supported by the Independent Sample T-Test results, which show that the mean value of the experimental class (58.50) is greater than that of the control class (53.50), with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.038, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فعالية وسائل التعليم كاهوت في اهتمام التعلم اللغة العربية لدى طلاب الصف الحادي عشر المدرسة الثانوية 1 نجاوي جاوة الشرقية. استخدمت هذه الدراسة أساليب البحث الكمي مع تصميم البحث شبه التجريبي. مصدر البيانات في هذا البحث كان طلاب الصف الحادي عشر. تم جمع البيانات من خلال مقابلات مع المعلمين والمستجيبين وباستخدام استبيان تم توزيعه على المستجيبين قبل وبعد التعلم باستخدام الكاهوت. وتحليل البيانات المستخدمة هو الإحصاء الوصفي ومقياس ليكرت مع اختبار الفرضيات على شكل اختبار t. تدل نتائج البحث على أن استخدام وسائل التعليم كاهوت فعال لترقية اهتمام التعلم في مادة اللغة العربية للطلاب الفصل الحادي عشر الديني بالمدرسة العالية الإسلامية الحكومية الأولى نجاوي بدليل على أن نتائج الاختبار Independent Sampel T-Test على قيمة متوسطة للفصل التجريبي أكبر من الفصل الضابط بقيمة 58.50 > 53.50 بقيمة إشارة (2-ذيل) قدرها 0.038 < 0.05. فتم رفض فرضية Ho وتم قبول فرضية Ha.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to find out the dynamics relevant to pedagogical stylistic over period of ten years from 2013 until 2023 by analyzing research trends, citation trends, gap research and countries that have cooperative relations on pedagogical stylistic topic. Furthermore, the research method used bibliometric visualization and bibliometric analysis. Research data were extracted from a scopus database then analyzed with VosViewers applications and Biblioshiny R as data analysis software. The research stages included identification, eligibility assessment and inclusion screening which resulted in final data of 97 publications. The result indicate a rise in publications concern to pedagogical stylistic has increased, particularly in 2022. Publications from 2016 have the highest g-index and h-index scores among all years, with 76 citations, the citation trend for pedagogical stylistic happened in 2016. Russian, United kingdom and United State become a countries that have significant influence of this research. The most popular keyword were student, professional aspects, pedagogical stylistic and stylistic analysis.

Abstract

The Arabic learning process is still faced with several problems, one of which is that students find it difficult to remember vocabulary and do not understand the meaning of each vocabulary. This study aims to analyze the enhancement of students’ vocabulary through the implementation of the mimicry memorization method. This study employs a quantitative approach, specifically adopting an experimental research design known as the Pre-test and post-test Control Group Design. The result of this study is that there is an increase in learning outcomes in learning Arabic vocabulary using the Mimicry Memorization method. Supported with evidence, the experimental group demonstrates an average score of 80.000, while the control group exhibits a mean score of 52.690. The results of statistical analysis showing Sig. (2-tailed) in the Independent Sample T-Test test is 0.000 0.05. These findings suggest that utilising the Mimicry Memorization technique proves to be efficacious in acquiring Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students’ perspectives on the relevance of learning ushul nahwu in the modern era. A descriptive qualitative approach was used with data collection methods through interviews and questionnaires involving all students who had taken the course. The results showed that most students considered ushul nahwu theoretically important, especially for prospective Arabic language teachers, but they felt the ushul nahwu material needed to be revised to be more relevant to modern needs. Although most students recognized the benefits of ushul nahwu in understanding Arabic grammar, only a small number felt that the course provided practical benefits in their Arabic language skills. Some students have difficulty understanding the concepts of ushul nahwu and applying them in Arabic language learning. Overall, the results indicate the need for a review of the ushul nahwu curriculum to better suit the needs of Arabic language learning in the modern era, with an emphasis on practical aspects and relevance to the times.

Abstract

The development of methods and the use of technology in learning Arabic has become the focus of attention in the context of education. The purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of learning methods and technology integration in teaching Arabic. The research method used is a literature study that reviews the development of literature related to classical and modern methods such as grammar-translation, direct, reading, and speech, as well as the application of technology such as audiovisual, e-learning, and games in the learning process. The results of the study show the obstacles in the application of methods and technologies, as well as the proposed innovative efforts to overcome these challenges. In conclusion, the development of Arabic learning methods and technologies remains relevant and sustainable in the digital era.
