Abstract

Anak usia pra sekolah merupakan kelompok umur yang mudah mengalami penyakit gigi dan mulut. Pengetahuan ibu tentang kesehatan gigi merupakan faktor penting yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan gigi anaknya. Edukasi menggunakan video dapat memudahkan proses penyerapan pengetahuan ibu tentang kesehatan gigi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk diketahuinya pengaruh video interaktif terhadap tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang kesehatan gigi pada anak usia pra sekolah di tk kemala bhayangkari 42 kota bandung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental dan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang. Pengumpulan data diperoleh secara langsung dari hasil pemberian kuesioner kepada ibu dari anak di tk kemala bhayangkari diukur dengan melakukan pretest dan posttest. Hasil uji t-test dependent menunjukkan bahwa nilai p sebesar 0,001 atau < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistic tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa ada perbedaan bermakna sebelum dan sesudah di berikan edukasi tentang kesehatan gigi dengan media video interaktif. Simpulan Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan responden tentang kesehatan gigi, yang aritnya ada pengaruh video interaktif terhadap tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang kesehatan gigi pada anak usia pra sekolah di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 42 Kota Bandung.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pencabutan gigi adalah tindakan mengeluarkan gigi dari soketnya yang dapat meningkatkan kecemasan, dikarenakan penggunaan alat tajam seperti jarum suntik. Kecemasan terhadap perawatan gigi dapat menghambat proses perawatan gigi. Penanganan kecemasan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan metode distraksi film kartun dan musik. Diketahuinya perbedaan distraksi menggunakan film kartun dan musik terhadap kecemasan anak usia 7 hingga 10 tahun pada pasien pencabutan dengan infiltrasi di RSKGM Bandung merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan metode quasi eksperimental. Metode purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih sampel dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, sebanyak 34 anak. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari pengukuran denyut nadi sebelum dan setelah diberikan tindakan pencabutan dengan infiltrasi antara kelompok yang diberi distraksi film kartun dan musik. Hasil: Pasien yang diberi distraksi film kartun sebagian besar berada pada kategori menurun (88,2%), dengan rata-rata denyut nadi 110,35 menurun hingga 96,65. Sedangkan pasien yang diberi distraksi musik sebagian besar pada kategori normal (70,6%), dengan rata rata denyut nadi 109,59 (sebelum) dan 107,18 (setelah). Hasil uji T Test Independent memperlihatkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,002. Kesimpulan: Adanya perbedaan yang bermakna antara distraksi menggunakan film kartun dan musik terhadap kecemasan anak usia 7 hingga 10 tahun pada pasien pencabutan dengan infiltrasi di RSKGM Bandung (p < 0,05).

Abstract

Government efforts in establishing UKGS are still small, which is around 30% of the total schools in Indonesia. UKGS is an alternative to developing entrepreneurship in the field of dental health. Entrepreneurship education in the Department of Dental Health is provided with the aim that students have the ability to implement entrepreneurial principles. This study aims to determine the role of family environment, social environment and interest in entrepreneurship in shaping students' interest in entrepreneurship. This research is descriptive research, the population in this study were final students of the Dental Health Department with a total sampling method totaling 41 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data is presented in the form of a frequency distribution. The results showed the role of the family environment with influential categories (63.5%), the role of the social environment with influential categories (82.9%), and the role of entrepreneurial interest with interested categories (70.7%). The family environment and social environment are influential in shaping students' interest in entrepreneurship in the UKGS field and students' business interest in doing entrepreneurship in the UKGS field in the Department of Dental Health is interested. The role of the family environment, social environment and interest can have a positive impact on students' entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The breakdown of hard tooth tissue, or dental caries, is a common occurrence in elementary school students. This is because kids don't know enough about dental health. Learning can have an impact on a student's knowledge. Busy Book learning materials are one way to provide learning materials that can stimulate student interest and comprehension, which is why they are essential. The study aimed to ascertain how Busy Book learning materials affect third-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kayuambon Lembang's level of dental caries knowledge. Pre-experimental research methodology was applied. There were 71 class III students in the study population. Purposive sampling was used to get 35 participants. Direct data collection from respondents took the form of a pretest-posttest. The dependent t-test results revealed that the p-value was 0.000. The results indicate that third grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kayuambon Lembang have a significantly different level of knowledge about dental caries when using the Busy Book learning media (p - value <0.05).

Abstract

Dental and oral hygiene can be done with oral health maintenance efforts to improve the degree of oral health. This is due to a lack of knowledge of oral health maintenance. Efforts to overcome the problem of lack of knowledge about oral health are to implement promotive efforts to improve behavior, namely by educating children of primary school age, delivering good education, especially when conveying information to primary school children, is to use props or media. One of the uses of media used in conducting education is spinning wheels. Spinning wheel is a circular game with various pictures in it, which is rotated around its axis and stops at one of the pictures in the circle. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of dental spinning wheel on oral health maintenance knowledge in 3rd grade students of Uchuwwatul Islam Elementary School Sukajadi, Bandung City. This research type was pre-experiment research. The sample in this study were 3rd grade students selected using total sampling totaling 30 students. Data collection was obtained directly from respondents in the form of pre test-post test. The results showed that before counseling using dental spinning wheel 50% of students had poor knowledge, after counseling 90% had a good level of knowledge. Statistical test results using the Wilcoxon test showed that the p-value 0.000 (<0.05). The conclusion showed that the dental spinning wheel media is effectively used when counseling is given to increase the knowledge of oral health maintenance of 3rd grade students of SD Uchuwwatul Islam.

Abstract

The prevalence of dental caries in Indonesia is estimated to be 80%. In children aged between six and 11 years, dental caries is a chronic condition that is prevalent and relatively high. Nevertheless, some measures can be taken, such as the application of topical fluoride. Nevertheless, a considerable number of parents remain unaware of the topical application of fluoride. The objective of this study was to determine the impact of an educational animation on parental knowledge about topical fluoride applications. The study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group, pretest-post-test design. The population of this study consisted of all parents (mothers and guardians) of students at DTA Al-Fath, totalling 18 individuals. The sampling method employed was total sampling. The data were analysed using the paired sample t-test. The results of the paired sample t-test indicate that the average level of parental knowledge regarding topical fluoride applications prior to the implementation of the educational intervention was 45.83. Following the provision of instruction via the medium of animation, the level of parental awareness regarding topical applications of fluoride increased, with an average score of 86.67. The findings of this study indicate a significant impact on the level of parental awareness regarding topical fluoride applications in DTA Al-Fath, both before and after the implementation of an educational intervention utilising animated media. The statistical significance of this impact is evidenced by a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05
