Abstract

This article is entirely based on a prior research article about an Arduino board-based electrical device that runs the micro-machine for printing the circuit board using GRBL-Gru software. In this article, two primary discussions relate to the research's objectives: performing the system for processing scratch and drill, selecting a spindle DC motor, and determining the necessary electrical power. The two research objectives were accomplished in stages detailed in the research methodologies. Instead of the component layouts on the PCB plate that were obtained and the electrical power needs for the axis-directed stepper motors and the DC motor for the spindle, the results of the operation tests for scratching and drilling are seen. Based on these findings, it is possible to conclude that the system's operation is consistent with the design and eventual objective of creating a tiny machine using a microcontroller to automate the scratching and drilling processes.

Abstract

The e-commerce transaction system, as a novel phenomenon unknown in early Islam, necessitates the establishment of legal rulings relevant to Sharia principles, one of which is through the method of qiyas. This research aims to examine the relevance of qiyas as a method of istinbat (derivation of Islamic law) in the context of e-commerce transactions, particularly concerning its validity and application. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach, focusing on classical and contemporary literature discussing the qiyas method and its implementation in e-commerce transaction law. The findings indicate that various forms of e-commerce transactions share legal commonalities (illat) with classical muamalah contracts, thus allowing for analogical deduction (qiyas). The implementation of qiyas in e-commerce transactions encompasses three aspects: 1) transactions in general, 2) the use of internet services, and 3) the payment process.

Abstract

The existence of lightning as atmospheric electricity should be thoroughly reviewed concerning the process of going over a subject again in a study that can explain its existence. A review in the form of presenting the State-of-the-Art (SotA) of the existence of lightning with objectives is examined, which includes the description of (i) the forming Cumulonimbus (Cb) clouds and lightning generation; (ii) the principles of electromagnetic field measurement; and (iii) the lightning strike detection systems and an example of calculating the efficiency value. A researcher's algorithm for carrying out the study takes the shape of achievement and adherence to explain in the form of literature reviews. Therefore, a flowchart based on the form algorithm can be created. The results and discussion of three main things related to explaining the existence of lightning as atmospheric electricity include forming Cb cloud and lightning generation, electromagnetic field measurement principles, and lightning strike detection systems, which are equipped with an example of calculating the efficiency value. Based on the discussion of three main things, it can be concluded that explanations of many kinds of literature reviewed can elaborate an understanding of the existence of lightning.

Abstract

A safety instrumented system (SIS) is specifically designed to protect personnel, pieces of equipment, and the environment by reducing the likelihood or severity of the impact of identified emergency events. This review has five objectives, i.e., (i) to find the layers of protection, (ii) to figure out and implement the SIS through life cycle step design, (iii) to find the Safety Integrity Level (SIL), (iv) to find the Safety Requirement Specification (SRS), and (v) to figure out and think about the SIS design that will be used. The study's methods are algorithms that a researcher uses to carry out research in stages of achievement and accordance with research objectives. Referring to the review proposed, five results have been achieved, which are guided by the process stages. The SIS design has been implemented and can be used as a reference for understanding the basic concepts and instrumentation of process control systems. The second is figuring out and implementing the SIS, which is an essential stage in the life-cycle step process. The third, the SIL determination, can be done using qualitative or quantitative methods that involve evaluating two risk components, e.g., probability and severity, and lies in the risk levels and the weighting structure. Furthermore, a matrix shows many of the factors that are used to determine the SIL levels. Fourth, the SRS consists of two parts, i.e., requirement specification of the functional and the integrity. Fifth, one of the considerations in designing the SIS is the separation between the SIS and the BPCS, thereby reducing the possibility of both systems failing simultaneously. Finally, the consequences range from minor injury to high death, and the main conclusion in this article is that the concept system will make it easier to find references or get predictions for determining instrumentations and creating a process control system.

Abstract

Abstract

This article describes the management concepts of electrical load-shedding in the electricity system of the offshore platforms environments for drilling to produce gases and oils. Stable and efficient electrical systems are essential for offshore platforms to ensure safety, productivity, and operational continuity. Load-shedding is a critical function that maintains the balance between power generation and demand during contingency events. This study employs an application-based simulation methodology to evaluate management strategies for electrical load-shedding in offshore electricity systems. Eight simulation scenarios assessed various operational conditions, including generator capacity, transformer performance, cable characteristics, and load prioritization. The results identify the feasibility and limitations of each scenario, illustrating the effects of different shedding strategies on power flow distribution, voltage stability, and system losses. The analysis shows that some configurations maintain stability margins, while others result in operational infeasibility due to voltage drops and overloading. The findings emphasize the necessity of structured load prioritization and the integration of automation using programmable logic controller (PLC)-assisted systems to improve system resilience. These results offer practical guidance for offshore operators, supporting enhanced planning and decision-making for reliable load-shedding strategies.
