Abstract

The focus of the research is how is the implementation of quantum teaching theory in learning Islamic Religious Education? This research uses a qualitative approach and a type of library research. The data obtained from the research were analysed by descriptive method. The results showed that the application of quantum teaching theory in learning Islamic religion consists of several stages, namely educators must give examples to their students, make the learning environment comfortable and fun, and make students happy. In Islamic religious education, the advantages of applying quantum teaching theory can be seen from several things, namely integrity (honesty), failure is the beginning of success, speaking with good intentions, living in the present, commitment, responsibility, flexible attitude, and balance. The role of Islamic education teachers in carrying out activities through the application of quantum teaching theory is (1) encouraging students by providing rich learning recitations that are well designed to enhance the development of students' spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social potential, (2) often giving positive motivation to students by interacting with them, (3) telling the benefits of learning a material, and (4) participating as a person who is happy to help, can lead and assert, and inspire by fostering curiosity and enthusiasm.

Abstract

The Quran does not specifically discuss Islamic communication practices. Islamic communication, typified by Qaulan, primarily revolves on interpersonal relationships. It involves linguistic interactions that are influenced by context and circumstances. The study employs qualitative methodologies. Research refers to the process of doing library research by analyzing material, such as written texts, notes, or reports, in order to provide novel research discoveries. Analytical terms are used to scrutinize information conveyed via symbols recorded in diverse media, including books, articles, and other mediums. The word "ill-defined" is used when the author is addressing a theory or notion that lacks a clear and precise definition, making it difficult to evaluate and develop into a comprehensible concept. The Qur'an comprises the verses known as Qaulan Karima, Qaulan Layyina, Qaulan Ma'rufa, Qaulan Sadida, Qaulan Baligha, and Qaulan Shakhila.

Abstract

Imam al-Haramain al-Juwaini is widely recognized as one of the foremost intellectual figures in Islamic legal history, particularly for his contributions to the development of usul al-fiqh and the refinement of the Shafi‘i school. His magnum opus, Nihayah al-Matlab fi Dirayah al-Madhhab, is not merely a compilation of classical legal opinions, but a systematic reconstruction of legal methodology that integrates textual sources (nusus), rational reasoning (‘aql), and the objectives of Islamic law (maqasid al-shari‘ah). This article aims to examine and reconstruct al-Juwaini’s legal thought using a qualitative approach based on library research and textual analysis of both primary and secondary sources. The study employs content analysis to explore the methodological structure, legal reasoning, and contemporary relevance of al-Juwaini’s jurisprudential model. The findings reveal that al-Juwaini succeeded in establishing a dynamic yet principled legal framework rooted in the authority of divine revelation. He harmonized Ash‘arite theology with rational jurisprudence and employed tools such as analogy (qiyas), public interest (maslahah), and maqasid to address complex and disputed legal issues. His thought reflects not only the preservation of the Shafi‘i legacy but also its renewal through critical engagement with evolving social realities. This reconstruction demonstrates that al-Juwaini was both a transmitter and a reformer, whose intellectual legacy offers a valuable foundation for reviving contextual ijtihad in the modern era. Therefore, Nihayah al-Matlab should be regarded as a strategic reference for scholars seeking to develop an adaptive and principled Islamic legal system responsive to contemporary challenges.

Abstract

This article explores the relevance of Imam Ar-Rafi’ie's educational thought in addressing the challenges of 21st-century modern learning. Amid the rapid advancement of technology and the shift toward competence-based and digitalized education, there is growing concern over the erosion of spiritual and moral values in educational processes. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study analyzes primary texts by Imam Ar-Rafi’ie, such as Al-Muharrar and Al-Aziz Syarh al-Wajiz, alongside secondary literature from academic journals and books published between 2018 and 2025. The findings reveal that although Imam Ar-Rafi’ie did not formulate a formal educational theory, his works convey fundamental Islamic educational principles, including the integration of knowledge and ethics, balance between naqli (revelation-based) and aqli (rational) sciences, and the central role of the teacher as a spiritual guide (murabbi). These concepts are highly relevant to contemporary education, which demands holistic approaches, character development, and Islamic digital ethics. The study recommends the application of Ar-Rafi’ie's thought in curriculum design, collaborative learning models, and teacher development programs. These insights contribute to the transformation of Islamic education systems that are rooted in tradition and responsive to modern realities.
