Abstract

This study aims to see the problems faced by teachers in Islamic Education learning (PAI) and the factors that cause these problems to occur. Data collection was focused on islamic junior hight school in five districts in the South West of Aceh, namely Aceh Jaya, Aceh Barat, Nagan Raya, Aceh Barat Daya and Aceh Selatan. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing and observing Islamic education teachers and the principle. the result showed that the problem of islamic eucation learning occurs because of the lack of facilities and infrastructure of learning, such as reading books and other supporting learning facilities in which it affects the lack of interest in reading and student learning at school. While the factors that led to these problems were limited variations in methods and models of teaching in learning esed by the teachers. furthermore, Student learning motivation is not so increased and learning is more dominant in cognitive nature, so that students understand about religion only but have not been able to maximize it in daily life. In addition, the solution given by Islamic education teachers motivate and advice the students to get better learning. then, teachers develops learning media for education by utilizing all available facilities so that the enthusiasm of students' learning in the teaching and learning process are able to increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts and obstacles found by the teachers at MAN 1 Aceh Barat in increasing students' learning motivation during the new normal period. This research is field research by using a qualitative approach with the data presented descriptively. The data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation to the selected respondents, namely Islamic Religious Education teachers at MAN 1 Aceh Barat. The results shows that the efforts made by teachers in order to increase the students’ learning motivation in the new normal including: instilling discipline and advising students about the importance of maintaining health and implementing health protocols, using e-digital media in the learning process, showing values in the form of numbers and symbols to students, providing an overview of the spirit of learning to the students, providing interesting materials in teaching, giving praise to students both in the form of verbal and objective praise, using interesting learning methods, having a good personality and providing good examples for students, carring out outdoor learning such as open places, libraries, prayer rooms, halls, and cottages, and encouraging students to take part in extracurricular activities, especially in the religious field. Meanwhile, the obstacles experienced by the teachers in the new normal period are: the students condition who are still carried away by the offline learning atmosphere, the emotional approach of students, the time of learning that coincide with prayer times, and there are some students who do not want to accept the teacher's opinion or advice. Keywords: Teachers’ Efforts in New normal Era, Increasing Learning Motivation, Learning in New Normal Era

Abstract

The discussion is focused in the application of learning the problem based learning (PBL)on the increase in students ability to solve the problem. In his discussion use a qualitativeapproach with the data presented shaped descriptive, by digging on books that have themost relevance to topic, shelled and analyzed rigorous adherence to the purpose of thediscussion. Of reference by which used referral from a variety of sources and journalthat support problems. Such as books kind of classroom, educational psychology andother reference having the relationship with matter. Said the outcome of his discussions,learning the problem based learning (PBL) effort to improve the ability of students tryingto settle the case teachers give. Students more accustomed to the problem and get itdone by method and way of thinking that more openly critical and to make it rational. Inaddition to the, liveliness the teaching and learning process more robust because studentsare required to capable of beker.

Abstract

As the province with the most Muslim population in Indonesia and with the Aceh special law in carrying out Islamic law, of course, religious education becomes its necessity in the view of the Acehnese people, including the fishing community. This study aims to look at the urgency of religious education for children among Aceh's coastal fishing communities and access to religious education institutions in the village as well as the factors of children's education. This study uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive data exposure, the study was conducted in villages inhabited by fishermen scattered throughout the coastal areas of Aceh, while the informants were fishing communities, village heads and apparatus where fishermen live, panglima laot, and people who could provide information with the required data. While data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the Acehnese fishing communities prioritized the religious education of their children, the maximum availability of religious educational institutions in the village, then several obstacles hindered the education of fishermen's children, such as economic factors, the distance to formal schools was too far, motivation to go to school, and involved in making a living with their parents

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media digital itu efektif dan efesien dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata pelajaran Fiqih di Sekolah MAN 1 Aceh Barat. Peneletian ini merupakan penelitian Kualitatif, sedangkan dalam pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian, bahwa guru dalam menyampaikan materi pelajaran di dalam kelas menggunakan media digital seperti PowerPoint, Word, Prizi, Youtube, video Pembelajaran, Aplikasi Ujian dan CBT (Computer Based Test). Dengan menggunakan media digital dalam proses belajar mengajar, dapat disimpulkan bahwa, salah satu metode guru untuk menghidupkan suasana kelas hingga terjadinya diskusi antar siswa, memudahkan guru dalam menyampaikan materi dan siswa mudah memahami materi. Guru mata pelajaran Fiqih menggunakan media digital dalam pembelajaran tersebut dengan cara menampilkan slide PowerPoint, slide Prizi dan video pembelajaran yang menarik. Dengan menggunakan media digital, proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih efektif dan efesien.

Dengan menggunakan media digital, proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih efektif dan efesien.

Abstract

This article aims to look at the reality of religious moderation in Acehnese society, the challenges in implementing moderation values and the solutions in introducing religious moderation in Acehnese society. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection conducted by interviewing academics at PTKIN Aceh and observing the development of moderation in society, namely by examining religious symptoms and conflicts in Aceh. The results of the study show that the practice of religious moderation had developed in Aceh long before the term moderation was echoed by the center, Acehnese people very easily accept anyone to live side by side even if they have different beliefs. The Acehnese with the principle of "peumulia jame" can accept anyone with good intentions coming to Aceh. On the other hand the people of Aceh will rebel and fight if there are parties who disturb and want to change their local wisdom, such as bid'ah the Prophet's birthday, suing religious traditions that have been ingrained with the lure of heresy and heresy, of course this kind into resistance and resistance. To implement religious moderation in society, this can be done in a top-down manner, starting with religious leaders, the preachers and also the involvement of the Islamic campus in introducing the Islamic value of washatiyah in the community, besides that, gentle recitations using the mauidhatul hasanah method in the community so that by introducing this soft Islam will certainly hit the hearts of the Acehnese Muslim community. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat realitas moderasi beragama pada masyarakat Aceh, tantangan dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai moderasi dan solusi dalam memperkenalkan moderasi beragama pada masyarakat Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mewawancarai akademisi di PTKIN Aceh dan mengamati perkembangan moderasi di masyarakat yaitu dengan mengkaji gejala dan konflik keagamaan di Aceh. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa praktik moderasi beragama telah berkembang di Aceh jauh sebelum istilah moderasi didengungkan oleh pusat, masyarakat Aceh sangat mudah menerima siapapun untuk hidup berdampingan meskipun berbeda keyakinan. Masyarakat Aceh dengan prinsip “peumulia jame” dapat menerima siapa saja yang berniat baik datang ke Aceh. Di sisi lain masyarakat Aceh akan memberontak dan melawan jika ada pihak yang mengganggu dan ingin mengubah kearifan lokalnya, seperti bid'ah Maulid Nabi, menggugat tradisi keagamaan yang sudah mendarah daging dengan iming-iming kesesatan dan kesesatan, tentu saja hal semacam ini menjadi perlawanan dan perlawanan. Untuk mengimplementasikan moderasi beragama di masyarakat dapat dilakukan secara top-down, dimulai dari tokoh agama, ustadz dan juga keterlibatan kampus Islam dalam memperkenalkan nilai Islam washatiyah di masyarakat, selain itu pengajian yang lembut dengan menggunakan metode mauidhatul hasanah di masyarakat sehingga dengan mengenalkan Islam yang lembut ini tentu akan mengena di hati masyarakat muslim Aceh.

Abstract

Fostering an attitude of religious moderation among students can be achievable when all stakeholders collaborate to create a cohesive understanding of moderation. This study examines the role of universities in promoting religious moderation among students at State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institution (hereafter, PTKIN) Aceh. Utilizing a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and observations. Interviews involved academics focused on religious moderation at PTKIN, while FGDs included students from five state Islamic universities in Aceh, selected purposively to provide insights on students' attitudes and views on religious moderation. Observations were conducted to assess students' attitudes and behaviors. The findings reveal that students exhibit moderate attitudes in daily life, are willing to collaborate socially and respect others' rights and obligations in worship. Challenges in instilling religious moderation values include the need for acceptance of the term within the context of local wisdom and avoiding the perception of moderation as a new religious project. Solutions involve preparing a curriculum based on Islamic tolerance and strengthening the role of religious moderation houses to promote Islamic washatiyah values among students, facilitating easier understanding and implementation in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the attitude of Central Aceh society towards religious differences. Central Aceh is a region with significant religious diversity, with the majority of the population adhering to Islam. However, religious differences can also be found within the Central Aceh society, such as Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism. This study employs a quantitative approach by collecting data through a survey conducted among 300 respondents representing the Central Aceh community. The survey instrument used is a reliable measurement scale of tolerance attitudes. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The analysis results show that, overall, the Central Aceh society exhibits a relatively high level of tolerance towards religious differences. The majority of respondents express respect for the right of every individual to choose and practice their own religion. However, there are several interesting findings regarding the factors influencing tolerance attitudes. Factors such as education, interreligious interaction experiences, and understanding of human rights significantly influence the tolerance attitudes of the Central Aceh society. This research contributes significantly to the understanding of tolerance attitudes in the Central Aceh community and provides insights for stakeholders, including the government and educational institutions, in developing programs that promote more inclusive and respectful tolerance attitudes among communities with different religious backgrounds. The policy implications derived from this research are expected to enhance harmony and inter-religious coexistence in Central Aceh, as well as foster sustainable social development processes.

Abstract

Education and social development are things that are mutually integrated and provide mutually beneficial effects. Ibn Khaldun is one of the figures who dared to create an excellent design for social science in the Middle Ages. This discussion aims to discover Ibn Khaldun's concept of education in social development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of literature study. Data was collected by exploring historical texts and research results related to social and educational concepts from the Khalduniyan perspective. The results of the study found that social relations that begin with the term "Ashabiyah" have had a positive effect on the success of education in society, as the view is that the goal of society is to pass on culture to the next generation, so it needs to be equipped with the concept of "ashabiyah" which can help create it. a social group that is strong and able to preserve and pass on cultural values ​​to future generations, based on these ashabiyah relationships, education will be better formulated because these bonds of solidarity help give birth to peace and create cohesion between fellow tribes and communities and ashabiyah relationships which can have a negative impact on the quality of education in society.
