Abstract

Inheritance is the transfer of assets or transfer of ownership rights from someone who has died to then be given to the rightful heirs. From the perspective of Islamic law, boys have greater inheritance rights than girls. This caused controversy among feminists who considered differences in the distribution of inheritance as unfair under the pretext of gender equality and women's emancipation. This study aims to determine the perspective of the Qur'an and Islamic fiqh regarding gender equality in the distribution of inheritance. By using a literature study research method, this article shows that; 1) From the perspective of the Al-Qur'an, Surah An-Nisa verse 11, the distribution of inheritance to boys and girls is unequal because boys get a 2:1 share from girls. 2) In the perspective of the Maharis fiqh regarding gender equality in the 2:1 division of inheritance between boys and girls, it is associated with proportional rights and obligations between the two, men's greater burden and obligation to provide for the family and parents after marriage.

Abstract

Indonesia has the advantage of being a peaceful and prosperous country with diverse religions and cultural traditions. This research aims to examine tolerance and harmony in the "Wungon" tradition by implementing the values of religious moderation based on the Koran. By using field research methods and a qualitative descriptive approach, this research shows that: 1) The Wungon tradition can strengthen the values of religious moderation in the younger generation as a form of tolerance and harmony between religious communities. 2) The Wungon tradition applies four main indicators of successful religious moderation compiled by the Ministry of Religion, Republic of Indonesia. First, the Wungon tradition plays a role in strengthening nationalism which is reflected through national songs with the theme of love for the homeland which residents sing as the implementation of QS Al-Qashash: 85. Second, tolerance in the Wungon tradition is seen through interactions between Muslims and non-Muslims in maintaining friendship and respecting each other's differences by exchanging food and giving to each other as an actualization of the QS. Al-Mumlahanah: 8. Third, the politeness and gentleness of the citizens are manifestations of anti-violence education as an implementation of QS. Ali-Imran: 159. Fourth, integration of QS. Al'A'raf: 199 represents the friendly attitude and acceptance of Pemalang residents towards the Wungon tradition which does not conflict with religious teachings. This research contributes to finding the concept of strengthening the values of religious moderation based on local wisdom. Apart from that, this research can also be used as a basis for integrating cultural practices as a home for religious moderation.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) on the meaningfulness of learning Islamic religious education. AR tested in this study include Smart Glasses AR (X1), Mobile Augmented Reality Application (X2), and AR in Books (X1). While the learning meaningfulness variable is divided into three indicators by referring to Clark and Daryanes' theory including problem solving (Y1), critical thinking skills (Y2), and learning motivation (Y3). This quantitative research uses multiple linear regression analysis model. Data was collected through a survey of 99 research respondents. The results show that AR has the most significant impact in increasing learning motivation, as its additional elements create an engaging and interactive learning experience. AR's influence on critical thinking ability ranked second, as the technology encourages the development of analytical and evaluative skills. This is due to AR's focus on improving concept understanding and learner engagement in the learning process. In contrast, the least impact of AR was seen on problem-solving ability, where this technology is more likely to increase motivation and concept understanding rather than providing direct solutions to problems. These findings contribute to improving the understanding of how AR can shape more meaningful learning experiences in the context of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This article is presented from the research results which reveals the achievements of the Research Madrasah Program in developing student achievement at Pekalongan State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN Pekalongan) in terms of input, process, output, and outcome/alumni aspects. By using qualitative research methods and types of field research, as well as data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, the results of this research show that; 1) The Research Madrasa Program at MAN Pekalongan in its implementation has referred to the guidelines for managing research learning in madrasas established by the Director General of Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. 2) The research madrasa program at MAN Pekalongan can be seen from the student recruitment strategy (input). Second, the process of organizing research madrasas (process). Third, the number of students' academic and non-academic achievements (output). Fourth, the distribution of MAN Pekalongan alumni in various PTNs (outcome). MAN Pekalongan as a madrasah conducting research is supported by a conducive learning environment, adequate facilities, high integrity of educators/guides, and transparent and democratic governance so that the learning process runs effectively and results in high student achievement.

Abstract

Masjid Agung Nurul Kalam sebagai masjid modern yang menjadi icon di pusat Kabupaten Pemalang memiliki daya tarik tersendiri bagi umat islam di Pemalang maupun pelancong dari berbagai daerah. Masjid sebagai salah satu bangunan publik perlu memperhatikan kemudahan bagi disabilitas. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengkaji aksesibilitas dan inklusivitas arsitektur masjid Agung Nurul Kalam Pemalang dalam mengimplementasikan masjid ramah disabilitas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauhmana fasilitas yang ada pada Masjid Agung Nurul Kalam Pemalang dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi disabilitas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi aksesibilitas desain masjid Agung Nurul Kalam Pemalang dan inklusivitas masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa desain masjid Agung Nurul Kalam Pemalang dapat dikategorikan sebagai masjid ramah disabilitas. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari penyediaan fasilitas khusus yang sudah memenuhi kebutuhan bagi kaum difabel seperti; penyediaan ramp dan guiding block, toilet khusus difabel, tempat wudhu khusus difabel, area sholat yang luas dengan fasilitas kursi lipat bagi difabel, dan lift prioritas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi untuk Kementrian Agama, pengurus masjid, maupun pihak terkait dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan serta pembangunan masjid yang ramah disabilitas.

Abstract

This article is presented from the results of research that reveals the achievements of the independent curriculum-based assessment system in improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes at the Muhammadiyah Kajen Pekalongan Vocational High School (SMK). This research uses qualitative research methods with field research, as well as data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this research show that; 1) The independent curriculum-based assessment or assessment system consists of formative assessments, summative assessments, and diagnostic assessments. 2) Kajen Pekalongan Muhammadiyah Vocational School has several forms of assessments based on the independent curriculum. First, the Skills Competency Test (UKK) assessment which measures students' skills at the learning stage. Second, the Field Work Practices (PKL) assessment improves students' professional work culture in the world of work. Third, the ISMUBA (Islam, Muhammadiyah, and Arabic) assessment integrates religion into students' daily lives. All assessment implementations are supported by a conducive learning environment, adequate facilities, and high integrity of educators so that the learning assessment process can run effectively and can improve the quality of students in accordance with the needs of the world of work and society.
