Abstract

This article is presented from the research results which reveals the achievements of the Research Madrasah Program in developing student achievement at Pekalongan State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN Pekalongan) in terms of input, process, output, and outcome/alumni aspects. By using qualitative research methods and types of field research, as well as data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, the results of this research show that; 1) The Research Madrasa Program at MAN Pekalongan in its implementation has referred to the guidelines for managing research learning in madrasas established by the Director General of Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. 2) The research madrasa program at MAN Pekalongan can be seen from the student recruitment strategy (input). Second, the process of organizing research madrasas (process). Third, the number of students' academic and non-academic achievements (output). Fourth, the distribution of MAN Pekalongan alumni in various PTNs (outcome). MAN Pekalongan as a madrasah conducting research is supported by a conducive learning environment, adequate facilities, high integrity of educators/guides, and transparent and democratic governance so that the learning process runs effectively and results in high student achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pandangan siswa terhadap penerapan fungsi manajemen POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling) dalam kegiatan sekolah di SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar. POAC merupakan pendekatan manajemen yang digunakan untuk merancang, mengatur, menggerakkan, dan mengawasi seluruh proses pelaksanaan kegiatan secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap siswa dan observasi langsung terhadap kegiatan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memahami fungsi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, namun masih kurang terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pengorganisasian dan pengawasan. Kegiatan sekolah umumnya terstruktur, namun keterlibatan siswa dalam proses manajerial masih bersifat formalitas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan partisipasi aktif siswa agar fungsi POAC tidak hanya dijalankan oleh guru atau pembina, tetapi juga menjadi bagian dari pembelajaran manajemen yang aplikatif bagi siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi sekolah dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kegiatan dengan melibatkan siswa secara menyeluruh dalam proses manajerial.

Abstract

This research was conducted at MA Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, aiming to identify the condition and role of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. The method used is descriptive qualitative, including field surveys, interviews with stakeholders, and analysis of data from various sources. The results show that the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure has a positive correlation with improving the quality of learning and the ability of students to achieve a proper and technology-based education. This study concludes that investment in facilities and infrastructure development should be prioritized by schools to improve educational progress. Recommendations include increased budgets, comprehensive planning and community involvement in the development process to ensure local needs are met and sustainability is assured.
