Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe how Pondok Pesantren, a unique Islamic eduation system implemented and contributed substantially to the character education of its students. 12 teachers and 24 students of Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah participated in focus group discussions and were observed. Findings suggest that the character education implemented in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah laid on Islamic values as its ultimate philosophy. The majority of teachers and students reported that the Pondok educates and develops students’ character by infusing knowledge, providing conditions or environment, and giving chances to practice.

Abstract

The Islamic religion implies marriage as the only form of living in pairs that is justified and recommended to be developed in forming a family. According to Law Number 1 of 1974, marriage is an inner and outer bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife to form a happy and eternal family (household) based on the belief in the Almighty God. This activity uses a true experimental pre-test approach. -post-test design using lecture, discussion, and question and answer methods to determine the level of knowledge and understanding of the participants both before the activity starts and after the activity is completed. The increase in knowledge and understanding from pre-test to post-test is meaningful for participants and is a benchmark for the success of this activity. Participants gain additional knowledge and understanding regarding the prevention of early marriage, and it is hoped that participants will share their knowledge, especially in the surrounding environment where participants live. Before the activity was carried out, 80% of workshop participants did not understand the material related to early marriage. However, there is an increase in knowledge and understanding. From the results of the posttest, as many as 98% of participants understood and gained better knowledge about early marriage. The results of the post-test showed that participants in counseling activities gained increased knowledge and insight regarding what drives early marriage, the risks that can occur, and the impact they will get. Workshop participants also know and understand what must be done to prevent early marriage.

Abstract

Religious and moral education is one aspect of children's development that is often sidelined. Religious and moral values ​​are part of a child's self-development which starts from an early age. Moral education is carried out to make students civilized and able to become human beings who can adapt to their environment. However, in reality, there are still many students who are found engaging in deviant behavior which ultimately results in moral degradation in students. Schools will be truly meaningful if they implement moral education to students in totality. Islamic religious education for early childhood is also a means to prepare students to understand, recognize, be devout, believe in religious teachings, practice noble Islamic morals from the main sources, namely Al-Quran and hadith, through teaching, mentoring and training activities as well as the use of experience. This study aims to explore good practices in religious and moral learning for children aged 5-6 years in Tadika Pasti Al-Mukmin, Malaysia. The researchers use descriptive qualitative research methods using observation, interviews and documentation methods. While data analysis used qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results obtained, the researchers conclude that religious and moral learning is given to children through introductions to God's creation of nature and everything in it. Then, worship is introduced, especially prayer, ablution and daily prayer. Islamic habits are also taught to form good morals. Instilling religion and morals in early childhood is very important because religion and morals are the main foundation in forming a child's character which aims to create humans with noble character and provide the child with provisions when facing life in the following days until he becomes an adult. Abstract

The Islamic seminar program which was held with the aim of constructing the study of household muamalah fiqh in the Palestine village. The basis of this seminar program is based on observations and interviews with residents about their daily lives as a dual-earner couple. Dual earner couples are closely related to the conflict of unequal division of roles in the house and are struggling with mere routines so that the function and meaning of a family needs to be lived in it. The method used is the lecture method with construction framing scheme, namely problem identification, causal interpretation, moral judgment, and suggestions for improvement which are reviewed with various construction variations that relate to everyday life, both simplification, association, generalization and classification. The conclusions obtained by the participants were easy to understand from the language presented, with the arguments presented making the participants curious in to learn and finally, the participants instilled the mindset of the ultimate goal of building a sakinah family.

Abstract

At PAUD Cempaka Petukangan Selatan, the fine motor skills of children aged 5 to 6 years are still relatively low, one of the reasons is that children cannot look good when doing activities such as drawing and folding. This is the main reason researchers improve fine motor skills. One way is to use finger painting activities. Painting with fingers is one way to improve children's fine motor skills. Because choosing the right method can help educators succeed. This research aims to determine the success of implementing finger painting activities to improve fine motor skills through finger painting activities and to find out whether it is possible to develop fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Cempaka Petukangan Selatan. This type of research is called classroom activity research, which focuses on classroom situations, or what is usually called classroom action research. Data collection tools consist of observation, interviews and documentation. Analyze classroom action survey data in a series of multicycle steps. Abstract

This article aims to explore the role of Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School in building sustainable peace based on Islamic theology. The theological approach chosen is Ahlusunnah wal Jamaah in Asy‘ariyyah formulation. This belief applies a moderate attitude and keeps people away from judgmental or disbelieving attitudes. This research uses a qualitative approach, combining interviews and document analysis of Darunnajah’s peace education programs, including international language and cultural collaborations and data from official reports and the institution’s website. Theological concepts are analyzed using authoritative primary and secondary references to explain how Pesantren, as an Islamic educational institution, integrates Islamic values with local wisdom to shape students’ character and promote peace. The results show that Darunnajah applies a holistic approach involving character education, foreign language skills, and classical Arabic book literacy. It also fosters awareness of global peace and cross-cultural understanding while maintaining Islamic identity. This study concludes that Darunnajah’s integration of Islamic theology as the foundation of peace education can serve as a model for sustainable peacebuilding. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah dalam membangun perdamaian berkelanjutan berbasis teologi Islam. Pendekatan teologis yang dipilih adalah Ahlusunnah wal Jamaah dalam formulasi Asy‘ariyyah. Akidah ini menerapkan sikap moderat dengan menjauhkan umat dari sikap menghakimi atau mengkafirkan tindakan seseorang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara dan analisis dokumen, mencakup program pendidikan perdamaian Darunnajah yang bekerja sama secara internasional dalam bidang bahasa dan budaya, serta data dari laporan resmi dan situs web lembaga.  Konsep teologis dianalisis melalui referensi primer dan sekunder yang otoritatif untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pesantren, sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam, mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan kearifan lokal dalam membentuk karakter santri dan membangun perdamaian. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Darunnajah menerapkan pendekatan holistik yang mencakup pendidikan karakter, keterampilan bahasa asing, dan literasi kitab klasik. Pesantren ini juga menumbuhkan kesadaran akan perdamaian global dan pemahaman lintas budaya, sekaligus menjaga identitas keislaman. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi teologi Islam sebagai dasar pendidikan perdamaian dapat menjadi model bagi pembangunan perdamaian yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the model of creativity initiated by al-Ghazali. His contribution on creative thinking seems relevant to be studied as an answer to the problem of cheese and stagnant thinking to solve various problems. Creativity that boils down to the ability of reason is not just a creation to seek something new, but there is a divine element emitted to the human mind. Therefore, in facing the problems of the Ummah that arise, creative solutions are needed that are in line with Islamic teachings. However, what happens in society most problems cannot be resolved and even tend to end in conflicts and conflicts between groups. In presenting this concept, al-Ghazali analyzed al-Asmā’ al-Ḥusnās theological terms such as al-Khāliq, al-Bāri’, al-Muṣawwir, al-Badī’. Then relate to other aspects with the power of the internal senses such as common sense, thinking, imagination, estimation, and memory. This article is a literature review that applies qualitative methods through content analysis to express what is written in al-Ghazali’s works. Two findings in this study. First, al-Ghazali’s concept of creativity is principled from al-Asmā’ al-Ḥusnā which is implemented by humans in everyday life by following what is exemplified by Allah, the Almighty, in His attributes. Man’s potential to think creatively follows God’s creativity in creating His creatures. Second, human creativity can be seen from the role and results of the relationship between the five senses and the internal senses of a human being which continues to be developed in daily activities. These two senses work together to show humans the process of how to perceive the surrounding reality and then create to develop it. This implies sincerity in utilizing creativity in thinking to provide solutions to mankind to various problems in life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang model kepemimpinan profetik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga pendidik di SDIT Rahmatan Lil Alamin Cipakel, Bogor. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SDIT Rahmatan Lil Alamin, Cipakel Bogor meneladani sifat Siddiq, Amanah, Tabligh dan  fathanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: 1). Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam meneladani sifat Siddiq: a). menerapkan kebijakan peraturan untuk mendorong guru-guru berperilaku Siddiq; b). menerapkan perilaku siddiq dalam kesehariannya yang dapat dicontoh bagi guru-guru; c). menerapkan kedisiplinan dalam sehari harinya sehingga menjadi contoh bagi guru-guru.; 2). Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meneladani sifat Amanah: a). Menjaga transparansi terhadap guru-guru atas hal apa yang diputuskan; b).  Memiliki program kegiatan yang terperinci; c). Mengambil Keputusan secara bermusyawarah tidak sepihak; d). Melakukan pengawasan dalam sekolah ; 3). Kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah dalam meneladani sifat Tabligh; a). menyampaikan visi misi sekolah terhadap guru melalui program-program kepala sekolah; b). mengarahkan serta menyuarakan kebutuhan kinerja guru kepada Yayasan; c). memberi kesempatan terhadap guru-guru untuk berbagi ilmunya; 4) Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam meneladani sifat Fathanah: a). mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT..; b). menjaga kestabilan emosional; c). mengupayakan peningkatan kemampuan guru-guru; d). menjaga interaksi yang senilai dengan fathonah.

Abstract

The demand for mental health supports for students in the educational system is growing. As a distinct Islamic educational institution where students stay full-time in one community, Pondok Pesantren needs to provide supportive environment for students since their home life is separate and less supportive. Differences in background and adaptability can result in some students experiencing difficulties, feeling anxious, afraid, uncomfortable, isolated, and even deciding to move. It is essential to know the mental health condition of the students to identify early warning signs of mental health problems. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mental health of students in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah, factors contributing to their mental health, and their coping methods in maintaining mental health. It used mixed method design, combining The Strength and Difficulties Questionnaires (SDQ Goodman) for quantitative data and interviews for qualitative insights. The questionnaire was conducted to 160 students, age 12-18 years old, using stratified sampling based on gender and class. 16 students and teachers were selected using purposeful sampling techniques and interviewed. The research found that the majority of student (79.4%) were classified as normal, 19.4% borderline, and 1.3% needing assistance. Peer problems had the lowest average value (2.46). Male students are higher on hyperactivity (5.39), while emotional difficulties are more common in female (4.40). There are five factors contributing the mental health; students’ adaptability, social skill, family support, teacher support, and religious belief. They maintained their mental health by having friends, enjoying lives and activities in Pondok Pesantren, also by enhancing religious beliefs and performing religious activities. The findings highlight the importance of providing psychological supports based on gender and class as well as integrating religious belief and social supports in promoting mental health within Pondok Pesantren.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di kelurahan Ulujami dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji para remaja tentang penggunaan media sosial secara positif. Seiring berkembangnya IPTEK yang membuat kehadiran media sosial ini menjadi perantara yang berarti. Karena media sosial bisa diartikan mendekatkan yang jauh juga mempererat yang sudah dekat. Di samping itu PKM ini juga dengan sosialisasi QRIS kepada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, Dan Menengah (UMKM) sekitar dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan QRIS, Pemanfaatan QRIS, dan hambatan penggunaan QRIS pada UMKM di Kelurahan Ulujami. Metode pelaksaanan kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan mengadakan observasi dan memberikan materi melalui ceramah, diskusi, serta pendampingan Bersama narasumber dan peserta. Hasil PKM ini menyimpulkan bahwa mayoritas dari pelaku UMKM yang berada di Kelurahan Ulujami yang telah mengetahui QRIS sebagai alat digital yang dikeluarkan Bank Indonesia. QRIS menjadikan pembayaran sangat praktis, aman, cepat dan juga banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat dan dapat berpengaruh dalam meningkatnya pendapatan bagi pelaku UMKM. Namun ada beberapa pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Ulujami yang masih belum ingin menggunakan QRIS dalam pembayarannya karena beberapa faktor. Diantaranya: usaha tersebut masih belum hak milik sendiri, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang teknologi, dan produk yang masih sedikit. Dengan diadakannya sosialisasi penggunaan media social secara positif serta penggunaan QRIS, para remaja menjadi lebih memahami penggunakan QRIS dan memudahkan transaksi pembayaran.
