Abstract

Children are more interested in playing online games available on the device. It can be very interesting for a child. However, not many people have the ability to choose games that are appropriate for their age, leading to negative attitudes and behaviors caused by online gaming it self. This research is a type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach used to examine independent and dependent variable data simultaneously with the aim of identifying the relationship between the two variables. This research used 84 respondents. Data collection was carried out using primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents through interviews and filling out questionnaires. The analyses used are univariate and bivariate. Based on statistical tests, with a p value of 0.03, α = 0.05 compared to p < α, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of online games on the level of laziness of children aged 7-12 years

Abstract

The learning environment factor is one of the most important for the success of the student learning process because it is a very important means and infrastructure for improving students' knowledge (cognitive), relative attitudes (affective) and skills (psychomotor). Therefore, learning environments can be divided into two categories: natural environments and non-natural environments. Natural categories include air, temperature, weather, time of day (morning, afternoon, and evening), and time of day. The place where people learn is their social and cultural environment. So, if these factors are not balanced, learning will not produce the best results. This research is a type of quantitative research that uses analytical descriptive methods, which means the researcher will only provide an explanation of certain variables and present the results in the form of a frequency distribution table. By collecting data using primary data. Due to the lack of study space, there is a change in the study room, which results in students coming in during the day when that time should be used for rest. Thus, it can be concluded that the lack of classrooms affects the learning concentration of students at Kubang Kutu 2 Elementary School, Cilegon City

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in enhancing student autonomy and critical thinking skills at SDN Suci Kasemen Kota Serang. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that project-based learning, which is the core of IKM, effectively enhances student autonomy in taking initiatives and being responsible for their learning process. Furthermore, students' critical thinking skills develop through information analysis, logical argumentation, and data-driven problem-solving. However, challenges in implementing Merdeka Curriculum include teacher readiness, limited supporting facilities, and inadequate parental involvement. This study emphasizes the importance of teacher training, resource strengthening, and collaboration among schools, parents, and the government in supporting the successful implementation of Merdeka Curriculum. With the right strategies, the Implementation of Merdeka Curriculum has the potential to become a crucial instrument in developing students' skills in 21st-century.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of parental involvement on the quality of education, the impact of public relations management programs on the quality of education, the impact of parental involvement and public relations management programs on the quality of education with collaboration as mediation. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were several parents of students taken purposively, as well as the head of the SDN Cilegon 04 Committee, a representative of the community. The results of the study indicate that (1) parental involvement plays an important role in the quality of education such as actively assisting children to study at home, good communication with the school, and supporting school program activities, (2) Public relations management programs have a major impact on improving the quality of education. Effective public relations management can contribute to schools in creating positive relationships with the community, increasing parental involvement and strengthening the school's good name, (3) Public relations management is the most important part in connecting communication and collaboration between school residents, parents of students and the community so that there is no misinterpretation. Communication and collaboration are carried out both directly and indirectly

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of transformational leadership of school principals and school culture on teacher performance at SDN Purut. The research uses a quantitative a correlational approach involving all teachers at SDN Purut as respondents, consist of 11 teachers. The research instruments are questionnaires developed based on indicators of transformational leadership, school culture, and teacher performance variables. Descriptive analysis results shows that transformational leadership of the school principal is categorized as high and very high, school culture is classified as very high, and teacher performance is generally categorized as high and very high. Inferential analysis shows that partially, transformational leadership significantly influences on teacher performance with a correlation coefficient (R) = 0.643 and coefficient of determination (R²) = 0.413. School culture also significantly influences with R = 0.634 and R² = 0.402. Simultaneously, both variables give a very significant effect on teacher performance with R = 0.993 and R² = 0.987. It shows that 98.7% of the variation on teacher performance can be explained by transformational leadership and school culture. It can be concluded that transformational leadership and a strong school culture play an essential role in improving teacher performance. Therefore, strengthening an inspirational leadership style and creating a positive school culture should be continuously developed to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The leadership of school principals plays a strategic role in shaping the direction, culture, and quality of education in elementary schools. In the context of increasing demands for educational quality and global competitiveness, effective leadership has become more urgent in achieving high-performing elementary schools. This study aims to examine the contribution of principal leadership in realizing excellent elementary schools through a literature review approach. A systematic review was conducted using articles published between 2015 and 2024, selected based on relevance and sourced from nationally and internationally accredited journals. Thematic analysis was employed to identify leadership patterns and practices that contribute to school excellence. The findings reveal that transformational, participatory, and vision-oriented leadership significantly contributes to improving teacher performance, parental involvement, school climate, and student achievement. These results suggest that effective principal leadership is a key factor in the sustainable development of elementary school quality. Therefore, strengthening principal leadership capacity should be prioritized in basic education policies.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the impact of talent management practices on public service quality, with employee competence and discipline serving as intervening variables within Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in Cilegon City. The research is motivated by the fluctuating trend of the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) in Cilegon over the past five years. A quantitative explanatory method is applied using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The study population consists of 1,477 Civil Servants (ASN) across 23 OPDs, with the sample size determined using the Slovin formula. The findings reveal that talent management significantly influences competence and discipline, which subsequently enhance public service quality. Competence and discipline are confirmed to mediate the relationship between talent management and service quality. This research contributes to advancing bureaucratic reform and strengthening professionalism in public sector human resources.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays an important role in forming the foundation of holistic child development. This article discusses how the role of educators as leaders in the PAUD community and the HIMPAUDI organization can be key to improving the quality of PAUD services. Through effective leadership, educators not only carry out learning functions, but also drive innovation, strengthen collaboration between educators, and build productive partnerships with parents and the community. HIMPAUDI as a professional organization plays a strategic role in supporting the development of educator leadership capacity through training, coaching, and advocacy. This article describes the importance of strengthening the role of educator leadership and developing organizational networks in realizing quality, inclusive, and sustainable PAUD, especially in the Tangerang Regency area. The findings show that trained educator leadership and strong organizations contribute significantly to improving the quality of PAUD and optimal early childhood development.

Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan hal utama dalam proses kehidupan, untuk mendapatkan kesehatan yang prima perlu adanya penerapan pola hidup sehat. Kurangnya pengetahuan seputar gizi seimbang dan penerapan hidup bersih menjadi faktor utama terganggunya kesehatan. Salah satu permasalahan besar yang muncul akibat kesalahan pola hidup adalah kekurangan gizi kronis yang disebut stunting. Angka stunting saat ini masih mendominasi dan menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang mengancam perkembangan generasi muda. Hal ini perlu menjadi perhatian khusus bagi seluruh masyarakat agar bisa ditanggulangi dengan serius, karena hal ini akan menghambat tumbuh kembang anak dan mengganggu kecerdasan intelektual anak. Oleh karena itu, pencegahan stunting perlu segera dilakukan untuk keselamatan dan kelangsungan hidup generasi yang lebih maju. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting di Kampung Rancawiru Desa Kemuning Kecamatan Kresek Kabupaten Tangerang Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penyuluhan dan praktik. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dampak positif kegiatan pelatihan literasi pendegahan dan penanggulangan stunting, cara hidup sehat, pola pemberian gizi berimbang, dan perawatan anak usia 1000 HPK terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting di Desa Kemuning.
