Abstract

This research investigates the significant relationship between the role of transformational leadership in increasing organizational innovation through support for innovation carried out by fifty-three coffee cafes in the cities of Pontianak and Kuburaya. This research uses to measure what the concept should measure. For Partial Least Squares (PLS), the SmartPLS 4.0 program can be used to measure construct validity by testing convergent and discriminant validity. The convergent validity test with the SmartPLS 4.0 program shows the loading coefficient value for each construct indicator. A high factor loading value indicates that each construct indicator is concentrated at one point. A rule of thumb generally used to assess convergent validity is that factor loading values greater than 0.7 in confirmatory studies and factor loading values between 0.6 and 0.7 in exploratory studies are still acceptable and average variance (AVE) values ) should. greater than 0.5. In addition, the validity and reliability of the measurement instruments were tested. This study confirmed the validity of the survey questions for the three constructs The Role of Transformational Leadership in Increasing Organizational Innovation Through Support for Implemented Innovation and produced satisfactory reliability for the measurement. In conclusion, this research highlights the significant impact of the role of transformational leadership in increasing organizational innovation and through supporting innovation carried out by organizations. These findings provide valuable insights for organizations that want to increase organizational innovation and organizations must also support the innovation that has been implemented by leaders

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of parental support, intrinsic motivation, and social factors influencing high school students' interest in pursuing higher education. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, the research was conducted in Pontianak City (urban area) and Kubu Raya Regency (rural area), involving 100 students, parents, and guidance counselors through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and observations. The findings reveal that students in urban areas show a higher interest in pursuing higher education (76%) compared to those in rural areas (48%), with parental support being the dominant factor (82% vs. 30%). Additionally, gender differences were identified, with female students being more motivated to attend college (88% in urban areas, 56% in rural areas), while male students in rural areas tend to prefer working (62%). The main obstacles include financial constraints (78% in rural areas) and limited access to information (64% in rural areas). These findings highlight the importance of policy interventions focused on improving access to information and financial support, particularly in rural areas, as well as strengthening the role of guidance counselors in supporting students. This study contributes to stakeholders in designing more effective strategies to promote educational equity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of transactional leadership style and transformational leadership style on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. This research is a survey research, which uses an explanatory research type, which provides an explanation of the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling technique, the sample used amounted to 47 respondents. The research method uses path analysis using SPSS 24 software. Data were analyzed using instrument tests and path analysis. The results showed that each variable had a significant effect even though the effect was not too large. Partially Transactional leadership style (X1) has a significant influence on employee performance (Y). Partially Transformational leadership style (X2) has a significant influence on employee performance (Y). Partially, work motivation (Z) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y).Partially Transactional Leadership style (X1) has a significant effect on Work Motivation (Z). Partially, the Transformational Leadership style (X1) has a significant influence on work motivation (Z). Partially the Transactional Leadership style (X2 has a significant influence on employee performance (Y) through work motivation (Z). Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of job security on the extra-role performance of Indonesia-Malaysia border officers in Sebunga Village, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan with In-Role Performance as an intervening variable. This research is survey research, which uses explanatory research, namely providing an explanation of the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The sampling technique in this research used a sampling method using saturated sampling or also known as a census, with 50 respondents. Data were analyzed using instrument tests and path analysis. The research results show that each variable has a significant influence even though the influence is not too big. Statistically, Job Security (X) has a direct and significant influence on In-Role Performance. Statistically, In-Role Performance (Z) has a direct and significant influence on Extra-Role Performance (Y). Statistically, Job Security (X) has a direct and significant influence on Extra-Role Performance (Y). Based on statistics, the influence of Job Security (X) is mediated by In-Role Performance (Z) on Extra-Role Performance (Y), proving that In-Role Performance (Z1) is able to mediate the influence of Job Security (X) on Extra-Role Performance (Y).
