Abstract

Pusung Kapal Village has ecological and geological potential, positioning it as a promising geotourism destination. However, its current utilization remains limited due to insufficient geospatial information regarding the area's potential and a lack of facilitated spatial data-driven tourism management. This community sevice program was conducted in Pusung Kapal Village, Seruway District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province. The primary objective of this project was to accelerate geotourism development through territorial potential mapping and the implementation of geospatial technology-based innovations. The target of community service is the community and tourism-aware groups in Pusung Kapal Village. This service aims to accelerate the development of geotourism through mapping the potential of the area and implementing innovations based on geospatial technology. The activities consist of a preparation stage, an implementation stage, an evaluation stage, and a reporting stage. The outcomes derived from this endeavor include 1) enhanced community competency in geotourism mapping and promotion, 2) the distribution map of geotourism site footprints; 3) the geotourism promotional video of Pusung Kapal Village, 4) the geotourism information website of Pusung Kapal Village. This activity is expected to foster community self-reliance in their efforts to advance geotourism destinations within Pusung Kapal Village.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengkaji strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan pengrajin batik Jambi di kawasan Seberang Kota Jambi, dengan tujuan akhir mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui perspektif ekonomi Islam. Industri batik Jambi berperan signifikan dalam ekonomi daerah, tidak hanya sebagai penyedia lapangan pekerjaan tetapi juga sebagai sarana pelestarian budaya lokal. Meski demikian, para pengrajin masih dihadapkan pada sejumlah tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan akses ke pasar, kekurangan modal, lemahnya manajemen usaha, serta rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif  dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi faktor kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang memengaruhi UMKM batik Jambi. Hasil Penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa strategi yang relevan untuk diterapkan mencakup peningkatan mutu produk, diversifikasi motif dan desain, pemanfaatan pemasaran digital, peningkatan keterampilan pengrajin melalui pelatihan, serta penguatan etika bisnis berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Penerapan strategi tersebut diyakini mampu memperkuat daya saing batik Jambi, memperluas pasar, sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pengrajin batik Jambi lebih responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan dinamika pasar, serta tetap menjunjung nilai keadilan, keberkahan, dan kehalalan dalam kegiatan usahanya sesuai dengan prinsip ekonomi Islam. Kata Kunci: Strategi, Pendapatan Pengrajin, Batik Jambi, Analisis Swot, Perspektif Ekonomi Islam.   Abstract This study was conducted to examine strategies that can be implemented to increase the income of Batik Jambi artisans in the Seberang Kota Jambi area, with the ultimate goal of supporting community welfare through the perspective of Islamic economics. The Batik Jambi industry plays a significant role in the regional economy, not only as a provider of employment opportunities but also as a medium for preserving local cultural heritage. However, artisans are still faced with several challenges, including limited market access, lack of capital, weak business management, and low utilization of modern technology. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis process was carried out using the SWOT approach to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats influencing Batik Jambi SMEs. The findings show that relevant strategies to be applied include improving product quality, diversifying motifs and designs, utilizing digital marketing, enhancing artisans’ skills through training, and strengthening business ethics based on Islamic principles. The implementation of these strategies is believed to strengthen the competitiveness of Batik Jambi, expand market reach, and ultimately improve community welfare. Thus, this study recommends that Batik Jambi artisans become more responsive to technological developments and market dynamics while upholding the values of justice, blessing (barakah), and halal practices in their business activities in accordance with Islamic economic principles. Abstract

Abstrak Pemberlakuan Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal menjadikan sertifikasi halal sebagai kewajiban bagi produk makanan dan minuman. Namun, pelaku usaha mikro, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan, masih menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam implementasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi sertifikasi halal serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan daya saing produk kletek udang di Desa Teluk Majelis, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi keberhasilan sertifikasi halal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sertifikasi halal pada pelaku usaha kletek udang masih tergolong rendah akibat keterbatasan pengetahuan, biaya, serta minimnya pendampingan. Namun, pelaku usaha yang telah bersertifikasi halal mengalami peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen, perbaikan kualitas produksi, dan perluasan akses pasar. Dengan demikian, sertifikasi halal berperan strategis dalam meningkatkan daya saing produk kletek udang. Diperlukan peran aktif pemerintah dan lembaga terkait dalam memberikan edukasi, pendampingan, dan fasilitasi pembiayaan agar implementasi sertifikasi halal dapat berjalan optimal. Kata Kunci: daya saing, kletek udang, sertifikasi halal, UMKM   Abstract The enactment of Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Assurance makes halal certification mandatory for food and beverage products. However, micro enterprises, particularly in rural areas, still face various challenges in its implementation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of halal certification and its impact on enhancing the competitiveness of shrimp cracker (kletek udang) products in Teluk Majelis Village, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. Data analysis was conducted using SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors influencing the success of halal certification. The results indicate that the implementation of halal certification among shrimp cracker producers remains limited due to lack of knowledge, financial constraints, and insufficient assistance. Nevertheless, businesses that have obtained halal certification experienced increased consumer trust, improved production quality, and expanded market access. Therefore, halal certification plays a strategic role in improving product competitiveness. Continuous support from the government and related institutions through education, assistance, and financial facilitation is essential to optimize the implementation of halal certification. Abstract

Muslims are required to pay zakat for those who have property that meets the provisions of Islamic law. The main function of zakat is as an instrument in encouraging the economy of the less fortunate community. One of the institutions that manages zakat, infaq and alms on a large scale is the national zakat agency BAZNAS. However, currently the community in Tebo Tengah District does not fully participate in paying zakat through the Tebo Regency National Zakat Agency, it is suspected that knowledge, belief and location are factors that influence the interest of the community in paying their zakat. Thus, it has an impact on the level of fundraising at BAZNAS Tebo Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the relationship between the variables of knowledge, belief and location on the interest of the Tebo Tengah District community in paying their zakat at BAZNAS Tebo Regency, with a sample size of 100 respondents. This study uses quantitative methods and data analysis techniques using SPSS 25. The results of this study indicate that the partial test (t) shows that the knowledge variable has no effect on the interest variable, while the belief variable and location variable have a significant effect on the interest variable. The simultaneous test (f) shows that the variables of knowledge, trust and location together have a significant influence on the variable of people's interest in paying zakat to the national zakat collection agency in Tebo Regency.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan kewajiban sertifikasi halal pada Usaha Mikro Kecil (UMK) di Desa Mendalo Indah, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, dengan fokus pada dampak, tantangan, dan strategi yang dilakukan pelaku usaha. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pelaku UMK, serta analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi halal berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen, citra usaha, dan peluang pasar, namun pelaku UMK masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan pemahaman prosedur, hambatan administratif, rendahnya literasi digital, serta persepsi biaya yang tinggi. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan meliputi peningkatan sosialisasi dan pendampingan, pemanfaatan skema sertifikasi halal gratis (self declare), serta kolaborasi pemerintah, lembaga pendamping, dan pelaku usaha guna memperkuat kesadaran dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi halal. Kata kunci: Sertifikasi halal, Usaha Mikro Kecil, Mendalo Indah Abstract This study aims to analyze the implementation of mandatory halal certification in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Mendalo Indah Village, Muaro Jambi Regency, with a focus on the impacts, challenges, and strategies implemented by business actors. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation of MSME actors, as well as a SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors. The results show that halal certification has a positive impact on increasing consumer trust, business image, and market opportunities. However, MSME actors still face obstacles such as limited understanding of procedures, administrative barriers, low digital literacy, and high perceived costs. Strategies that can be implemented include increasing socialization and mentoring, utilizing the free halal certification scheme (self-declaration), and collaboration between the government, supporting institutions, and business actors to strengthen awareness and compliance with halal regulations.
