Abstract

This study aims to discuss the development of Islamic education by implementing the values of multicultural Islamic Religious Education in Madrasah. In order to obtain data from research results, research was carried out with a qualitative approach and this type of case study research. This research was conducted at MI Ihyaul Islam Pajarakan. Data collection techniques with participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data collection technique uses the snowball sampling technique. The data sources used are primary and secondary. At the same time, the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that multicultural Islamic education is a response to the development of population diversity in Islamic educational institutions themselves, as well as demands for equal rights for each group. In broad terms, all students, regardless of their groups, such as gender, ethnicity, race, culture, social and religious strata, have the right to receive the same education. The implementation of the values of multicultural Islamic Religious Education in the development of Islamic educational institutions includes institutional aspects, curriculum aspects, and workforce aspects.

Abstract

The research focuses on investigating the strategies and management applied in the Hifdzul Al-Qur'an program at two Islamic educational institutions, namely the Nurul Jadid Paiton Islamic Boarding School and the Nurul Qodim Kalikajar Islamic Boarding School. The primary aim of the research is to comprehensively understand how these boarding schools plan their Quranic memorization strategies. The research methodology employed a qualitative case study approach. The researcher utilized purposive sampling to engage various stakeholders such as regional heads, tahfidz administrators, students, guardians, and the local community in in-depth interviews. The findings revealed that both boarding schools have structured planning focusing on Quranic memorization techniques and comprehensive learning activities. The implications drawn from this research on the management of Hifdzul Al-Qur'an in Islamic boarding schools hold substantial significance for educational practices and institutional development.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the development of humanistic multicultural education within the framework of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Junior high school, focusing on its role in fostering a culture of tolerance among students. Given the increasing importance of multicultural values in diverse educational settings, this research addresses the integration of these values in PAI learning. Employing a qualitative research method with a purposive sampling approach, the study examines the alignment of educational objectives, materials, methods, and evaluation as outlined in the syllabus. The findings reveal that humanistic multicultural values are effectively integrated into PAI, contributing to the promotion of tolerance through both curriculum content and the exemplary behavior of PAI and other subject teachers. This research provides insights into how Islamic Religious Education can be a vital tool in cultivating a tolerant and inclusive school environment.

Abstract

Madrasah is one of Islamic education institutions that develops in Indonesia cultivated in addition to mosques and boarding schools. In the process of learning Islamic Education in madrasah, learning activities cannot always run smoothly. So students seem slow to do tasks related to learning activities. This learning difficulties are already a common problem that occurs in the learning process. The phenomenon of learning difficulties, especially the subjects of Fiqh experienced by students at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Senior High School usually seems clear from the decline in academic achievement or learning achievement. To prevent and overcome the causes of student learning difficulties, one alternative that can be taken in overcoming learning difficulties is to conduct remedial teaching.Based from the problem background, the purpose of this study is to describe and analyze about: (1) The causes of learning difficulties faced by students in the subjects of Fiqh at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Senior High School, (2) The implementation of remedial teaching in learning of Fiqh at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Senior High School Kraksaan Probolinggo.This research is conducted by using naturalistic phenomenological qualitative approach, using natural environment as the direct source of data. The data collection procedure includes; (1) participant observation, (2) in-depth interview, and (3) documentation. Checking the validity of data is processed by (1) verification of data obtained, (2) triangulation techniques

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools is often trapped in a dogmatic and textual approach, which is less able to accommodate the social and intellectual dynamics of students. This study aims to explore efforts to recontextualize PAI materials by adapting religious teachings to the context of students' social, cultural, and intellectual lives, in order to improve their understanding, engagement, and critical thinking skills. The method used in this study is a qualitative case study approach, conducted in a junior high school in Probolinggo Regency, involving in-depth interviews, observation, and data analysis. The research findings indicate that the recontextualization of PAI materials successfully created a more inclusive and reflective learning climate, increased student enthusiasm, and encouraged them to connect religious teachings with contemporary social issues. This study contributes to the development of religious education theory, by offering a new approach to PAI learning that is more applicable and relevant. The practical implication is the importance of developing more contextual and interactive teaching methods.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the education sector. Using technology in learning allows innovations to increase the effectiveness of the learning process. This article aims to analyze learning innovations that can increase the effectiveness of education in the digital era. A literature review was conducted to explore the concept of learning in the digital era, identify the advantages and challenges faced in implementing technology in education, and examine the development of learning innovations in the digital era. The research method used was a literature review of related research and an analysis of relevant data and findings. This research provides a better understanding of the effectiveness of learning innovation in the digital era. Factors that influence the effectiveness of learning innovations are also analyzed to provide a comprehensive picture of the influence of technology in education.The discussion of this article highlights the effectiveness of learning innovation in the digital era, taking into account the advantages and challenges that arise. The implications of the findings of this research for learning practices are identified and presented, and relevant recommendations are presented to support the effective use of learning innovations in the context of digital education. This research concludes that learning innovations can increase the effectiveness of education in the digital era. However, it is essential to consider the factors that influence the success of these innovations, such as teacher technological competence, infrastructure availability, and adequate policy support. This article makes an essential contribution to understanding technology use in education and provides a basis for continued research in this area.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how spiritual leadership is implemented at MAN 1 Bondowoso and its impact on structural awareness among students and staff. Spiritual leadership, which emphasizes values such as honesty, justice, and compassion, is applied by the principal in daily management as well as in various religious and social activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the research show that the implementation of spiritual leadership at MAN 1 Bondowoso has successfully increased social awareness, environmental consciousness, and attention to the academic needs of students. Programs such as community service, school greening, and personal academic guidance have become integral parts of the school culture. Despite challenges such as resistance from some parties, solutions through ongoing training and socialization have proven effective. In conclusion, spiritual leadership at MAN 1 Bondowoso has significantly built structural awareness. The application of spiritual values in school leadership creates a more caring, inclusive, and welfare-oriented environment. Continuous commitment and support from the entire school community are needed to overcome challenges and sustain these positive impacts.

Abstract

This research focuses on strategies to improve service quality in student management at madrasah institutions. The main objective of this study is to identify and evaluate methods and approaches that can be implemented to enhance the quality of services provided to students in madrasah. The research methods used include literature review, interviews with teaching staff and administrative personnel, and direct observation of the student management process. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of technology-based management systems, improving the competence of teaching staff through regular training, and developing varied and inclusive extracurricular programs are effective steps to enhance service quality. Additionally, active participation from students' parents in the educational process also significantly contributes to service improvement. This study concludes that integrated and sustainable strategies are essential to achieve optimal service quality improvement in student management at madrasah
