Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of portfolio assessment. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students in class VI A who used the portfolio assessment method were higher than the learning outcomes of students in class VI B who used the traditional assessment method. This can be seen from the average value of student learning outcomes in class VI A of 75.00 while the average value of student learning outcomes in class VI B of 65.00. Portfolio assessment can help teachers to measure students' learning progress comprehensively, covering cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. In addition, portfolio assessment can also provide opportunities for students to show their abilities to the fullest and motivate students to study harder. However, in its implementation, portfolio assessment at SDS Karakter Al-Adzkiya is still not optimal, especially in terms of teachers' understanding of portfolio assessment, the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and student motivation in collecting portfolios. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to teachers and schools to apply portfolio assessment method in learning Islamic education, by improving teachers' understanding of the concepts, principles, and procedures of portfolio assessment, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure to support portfolio assessment, and increasing students' motivation to collect portfolios

Abstract

Currently, visual content spread worldwide often contains conspiracies serving the interests of certain groups to control humans, focusing their attention and belief on films and shows that promote disbelief. Therefore, the implementation of the Art of Da'wah to increase students' motivation to learn religion at MAN I Cianjur serves as a learning approach to convey Islamic messages and values to students. The purpose of this study is to facilitate students in learning Islam through art presented in digital form to dominate their daily habits. To build student motivation, there must be both internal (intrinsic) and external (extrinsic) encouragement. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a sample size of 47 people taken from a total population of about 88 people. Data collection techniques in this study include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses SPSS with correlation formulas and Microsoft Excel assistance. The results of this study show an average value of 44.72 for the application of the Art of Da'wah, with an increase in motivation of 44.31, which can be interpreted as a high category. The degree of influence of X on Y is 0.89 or equivalent to 79.5%. The hypothesis proposed by the author: "If the application of the Art of Da'wah is used in learning, it will produce good motivation" is proven to be true.

Abstract

KH. Ahmad Dahlan, a reformer of Islamic education in Indonesia, integrated religious values with modern knowledge to address educational challenges during the colonial era. Through the establishment of Muhammadiyah in 1912, he combined religious teachings with general subjects such as science, mathematics, and languages in a modern educational system. Madrasah Mu'allimin Muhammadiyah exemplified his vision of holistic education. This study employs a qualitative method with a historical-descriptive approach, examining KH. Ahmad Dahlan's thoughts and contributions to educational reform. Thematic analysis reveals the relevance of his ideas in shaping Muslim individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and competitive in the modern world. His legacy remains a cornerstone of Islamic education development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the theories of behaviorism and cognitivism in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, and to identify their implications for classroom learning design and practice. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, utilizing academic references, Quranic verses, and hadith to enrich the analysis. The findings indicate that behaviorism emphasizes repetition, habituation, and reinforcement, making it suitable for teaching basic religious practices such as prayer and Quran memorization. Meanwhile, cognitivism focuses on internal mental processes such as understanding, reasoning, and reflection, making it effective in teaching values, concepts, and critical thinking. Both theories contribute to improving PAI learning by offering different yet complementary strategies. Behaviorism supports the formation of discipline and routine, while cognitivism promotes deeper comprehension and meaningful engagement with Islamic teachings. The implication of this study is the need for balanced and adaptive teaching methods that consider both behavioral and cognitive aspects to achieve holistic religious education.
