Abstract

The aim of this team is for village officials to have skills and knowledge in managing villages through Strata 1 Education. The research location is in Tano Tombangan District. The method used by the PKM team is a method that is generally often used during outreach, namely the lecture method. Because the lecture method is most appropriate to use to socialize the importance of increasing human resources in Malulu village officials at the tertiary level. As a result of the socialization carried out, it was discovered that there were several village officials who were interested in continuing their undergraduate education, there were around 17 village officials who wanted to continue to higher education, both the village head and his staff. And the conclusions obtained are that there are several duties and authorities of the village head related to village administration, development, training and empowerment. If it is related to the graduation rate of village heads who are only junior high school or high school graduates, then this is not in accordance with the village head's duties and authority because in carrying out these duties the village head should receive education through lectures so that the village head has knowledge about how to manage the village.

Abstract

Current technological advances have given birth to various innovations, especially in the field of digital learning. One of them is a tracking application which is very useful in helping carry out a physics practicum. The aim of implementing this community service program is to train students on how to use the tracker application to facilitate the implementation of physics practicum which can be carried out in class 10 of SMA IT AL-Husnayain Panyabungan. Based on observations, it appears that this tracker application is something new for students, making it very easy to carry out practical activities in class. Evaluations and testimonials from students reveal that the practicum use of this tracker application provides students with the opportunity to receive active learning that is centered on themselves, especially in creating practicum designs and analyzing practicum results and this tracker application can provide innovation in the implementation of physics practicum in schools.

Abstract

The integration of local traditions into science education has the potential to enhance student engagement, cultural relevance, and academic performance. This study explores the development of an innovative integrated science curriculum that incorporates the rich cultural heritage of Southern Tapanuli, Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing purposive sampling to select approximately 30 participants, including teachers, students, and community members. Data collection involves semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis reveals five key themes: Cultural Relevance (107 mentions), Engagement (127 mentions), Community Involvement (71 mentions), Practical Applications (39 mentions), and Challenges (31 mentions). Content analysis further highlights the importance of cultural context (30.7%) and participant interaction (36.0%). Comparative analysis indicates significant differences between groups, with Group A demonstrating higher mean scores (82.5 vs. 75.2, p<0.05) and success rates (78% vs. 65%, p<0.01). Inferential statistics, including t-tests (t=2.45, p=0.018), ANOVA (F=4.67, p=0.012), and chi-square tests (χ²=10.30, p=0.015), support the existence of significant differences and associations between variables. These findings align with previous research emphasizing the benefits of interactive teaching methods and community engagement in education. The study concludes that culturally responsive teaching approaches and community involvement can significantly enhance student motivation and achievement in science education. Future research should further explore these relationships in diverse educational settings to validate and extend these findings.

Abstract

 Kurangnya kegiatan praktikum fisika dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah membuat peserta didik sulit memahami konsep materi fisika, salah satunya pada materi rangkaian listrik searah. Tidak lengkapnya alat praktikum yang digunakan untuk praktikum juga menjadi sebab jarangnya praktikum dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis tinkercad menggunakan media canva pada materi rangakaian listrik searah. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Development and Research) dengan menggunakan model Plomp. Penelitian ini baru sampai pada tahap uji coba tahap perancangan expert review karena keterbatasan waktu. Instrument yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi oleh dosen ahli yang menilai aspek penilaian isi, aspek kebahasaan, aspek konstruksi dan aspek penilaian media. Nilai validitas menggunakan skala Likert 1 sampai 4 menunjukkan nilai pada aspek isi 89,2%, aspek kebahasaan 85,3%, aspek konstruksi 90,6% dan aspek media 90,2%.

Abstract

Education is a process of learning and developing individual potential through teaching, training and guidance. The aim of education is to develop individual abilities, knowledge and character to become productive and responsible individuals. One of the services that can be done to achieve educational goals is training or socialization that supports learning with the help of technology. Technology provides convenience and efficient speed in the learning process. Training is carried out with the help of an application called Tinkercad. The use of applications in this training was carried out because the learning process using the laboratory was not optimal. The use of laboratories is less than optimal, causing practicums to be rarely carried out. So E-LKPD training was carried out with the help of the Tinkercad application. The location of the socialization was held at MAN 1 Mandailing Natal in Panyabungan, specifically for class XII students. The results of evaluations and testimonials showed that students felt more enthusiastic about doing practicum so that learning was more active. The simple use of the Tinkercad application makes it easy for students to use it.

Abstract

Rendahnya keaktifan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan pembelajaran membosankan dan sulit memahami materi fisika khususnya mengenai medan magnetik. Medan megnetik materi fisika bersifat abstrak jadi perlu di bantu dengan media seperti Quizizz. Mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz pada materi medan magnetik adalah tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengembangan ini adalah metode pengembangan 4D yang memiliki empat tahapan pengembangan terdiri dari : define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan dissiminate (penyebaran). Pengembangan yang dilakukan hanya sampai tahap develop (pengembangan) dikarenakan adanya keterbatasan waktu dalam penelitian. Untuk instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket untuk validasi dari ahli yang berisi pernyataan mengenai aspek yang akan dinilai. Nilai validasi yang diperoleh dari perhitungan skala likert, aspek teknis 92,4%,  aspek kelayakan materi diperoleh sebesar 88,3% , aspek tampilan 95,2%, aspek kebahasaan  85,1%, dan terahir aspek teknis 92,4%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya ketersediaan media pembelajaran fisika yang menarik minat siswa dalam proses belajar fisika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran virtual berbasis Algodoo pada materi momentum dan impuls. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research dan Development) dengan mengadopsi model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari tahap analisis (analysis), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Namun, dalam penelitian ini, fokus hanya diberikan pada tahap pengembangan (development) karena adanya keterbatasan waktu untuk melakukan penelitian secara menyeluruh. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi yang terdiri dari 20 pernyataan yang menilai empat aspek, yaitu penyajian, isi materi, desain media, dan bahasa..Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai validitas menggunkan skala Likert 1 sampai 4 menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pada aspek penyajian dan aspek desain media 92,5% dan uji reliabilitas 97,29%. Pada aspek isi materi uji validitas 82,5% dan uji reliabilitas 96,97%, dan yang terakhir pada aspek bahasa rata-rata uji validitas 92,5 % dan uji reliabilitas 94,74%.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyakarat (PKM) ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi kepada peserta didik dalam penggunaan teknologi atau media aplikasi Quiziz di SMA Negeri 1 Siabu. Agar bisa membantu siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran fisika, khususnya materi medan magnetik. Pelajaran fisika termasuk pelajaran yang susah dan tidak dimininati oleh peserta didik, karena penyampaian materi yang hanya berupa rumus yang sulit di pahami oleh peserta didik. Jadi, sangat di perlukan bantuan media dalam menyampaikan materi fisika agar tidak monoton dan membosankan bagi peserta didik. Salah satu yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh guru adalah penggunaan aplikais Quiziz. Aplikasi Quiziz merupakan media interaktif yang bisa digunakan untuk kuis, latihan soal dan evaluasi peserta didik. Soal atau kuis yang digunakan bisa dilihat oleh peserta didik skornya secara langsung dan guru bisa melihat jumlah jawaban yang benar yang di kerjakan oleh peserta didik . Selain itu bisa di atur waktu pengerjaannya agar perserta didik bisa lebih focus ketika menjawab soal yang diberikan oleh guru. Dan evaluasi pembelajaran Quiziz dapat dilihat data statistik kinerja perserta didik dalam file excel yang bisa di download oleh guru dari aplikasi tersebut. Lokasi tempat sosialiasi di lakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Siabu kelas XII. Hasil sosialisasi yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa peserta didik merasa lebih semangat dan antusias ketika belajar fisika menggunakan aplikasi Quiziz dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih aktif dan menyenangkan. Dan aplikasi Quiziz mudah di akses oleh peserta didik dan juga guru.

Abstract

There is a lack of learning media in teaching physics material, one of which is static electricity, so students feel bored because what is taught is only theory and ordinary explanations. So the aim of this research is to develop media using Canva Design on static electricity material. Research and development methods (Research and Development) using the Borg and Gall model. This research has only reached the initial field trial stage due to time constraints. The instrument is a material expert validation sheet consisting of 10 statements that assess the appropriateness aspects of the material as well as linguistic aspects as well as the media expert's validity of 7 statements, namely appearance and technical aspects. The validity value using a Likert scale of 1 to 4 shows the value for the appropriateness aspect of the material is 87.5% and the linguistic aspect is 83.3%, the appearance aspect is 82.5% and the technical aspect is 96.97%.
