Abstract

Hypertension is one of the deadliest diseases in the world that can attack anyone, both young and old. Hypertension sufferers have poorer sleep quality compared to those with normal blood pressure. This research is a quantitative research using a Quasi-Experimental Design. This research aimed to determine the effect of a combination of warm water foot baths and lavender essential oil aromatherapy on sleep quality in adults with hypertension. Wilcoxon test results (p = 0.004), which means that there is an effect of combination therapy with warm water foot baths and lavender essential oil aromatherapy on the sleep quality of adults with hypertension. The feet have many thermoreceptors and a high density of capillaries. Soaking your feet in warm water can help prepare the body for sleep naturally and quickly trigger peripheral vasodilation. There are two main ways to apply aromatherapy: topically and through inhalation. Lavender essential oil is said to activate the limbic system, especially the hippocampus and amygdala. Combining warm foot baths with aromatherapy would be a rational approach to the management of sleep disorders in adult patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Background. Determination of triage in the process and handling can have an impact on the length of patient triage. Conditions that require the selection of this color accuracy require time according to their needs so this sometimes causes family anxiety about ignorance about the triage. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about triage with the anxiety level of the patient's family in the emergency room of RSUI Madinah Kasembon. Research Method. The research design is a descriptive correlative cross-sectional approach with the Kendall tau test. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and got a total sample of 266 respondents the families of patients. The research variables were knowledge, attitude, and anxiety level. Findings. The results showed the characteristics of the family's knowledge level in the moderate category, the characteristics of the family's attitude in the unfavorable category, and the characteristics of the family's anxiety level in the moderate category. The results of data analysis showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge about triage with the anxiety level of the patient's family in the emergency room (signed p= 0.023) and there was a relationship between the attitude about triage with the anxiety level of the patient's family in the emergency room (signed p= 0.001). Conclusion. There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about triage with the anxiety level of the patient's family in the emergency room of RSUI Madinah Kasembon.

Abstract

Introduction. The pandemic conditions mean that the implementation of Antenatal care (ANC) requires time management, ANC is carried out with limited visits and is carried out more through online telecommunication and studying MCH books. ANC examinations during the pandemic must still be carried out by implementing health protocols. Factors related to ANC visits include family support, support from health workers and knowledge. Pregnancy examinations are carried out according to the 10T examination service standard of care. This research was to determine the analysis of factors related to ANC visits during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Melong Asih Health Center working area, Cimahi City. Methods. This research uses a cross sectional approach . The sampling technique in research is a Non Probability Sampling technique in the form of Accidental Sampling as many as 88 respondents. Data were collected using a family support questionnaire , the role of health workers, knowledge and observation of maternal and child health (KIA) books . Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test. Results and Analysis. Statistical test results were obtained from 3 ANC visit factors There is only 1 factor that has a relationship, namely between family support and ANC visits with a value of p = 0.036 < α = 0.05. Discussions. The results of this research can be used as evaluation or policy material by the community health center to update data on pregnant women in the working area of the Melong Asih Community Health Center, Cimahi City.
