Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of the Mongolato Village community regarding Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), such as hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The implementation was carried out through health education and screening of blood pressure and blood sugar levels in 100 respondents. The method used included a pretest-posttest to evaluate the respondents' understanding before and after education. The results showed an increase in community understanding by 20%, from an initial value of 59% to 79%. In addition, screening showed that 60% of respondents had high blood pressure, and 27% had high blood sugar levels. Education has proven effective in increasing public awareness of risk factors, prevention, and management of NCDs. As a follow-up, it is recommended to carry out routine monitoring and form health-conscious community groups to support sustainable prevention programs. Keywords: : Health education, Non-Communicable Diseases, screening, hypertension, diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Rumah sakit merupakan lembaga pelayanan kesehatan yang melaksanakan pelayanan secara menyeluruh, meliputi rawat jalan, rawat inap, gawat darurat, dan laboratorium. Hubungan kepemimpinan dengan kepuasan kerja merupakan cara seorang pemimpin dalam memengaruhi dan mengarahkan individu untuk bersama-sama mencapai tujuan organisasi. Permasalahan yang ditemukan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian pegawai masih mengeluhkan cara pemimpin dalam menangani keluhan pegawai, seperti ketidaksesuaian antara gaji dan beban kerja serta lamanya proses pengangkatan menjadi pegawai tetap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai di RSUD Otanaha. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 387 pegawai, dengan sampel sebanyak 80 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil uji statistik korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan nilai p = 0,004 < 0,05 dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,318 yang berada pada kategori korelasi rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pegawai di RSUD Otanaha merasa cukup puas terhadap kepemimpinan transformasional. Saran penelitian ini adalah agar pihak rumah sakit melakukan evaluasi secara berkala terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai terkait hubungan kepemimpinan dengan kinerja. Hospitals are healthcare service institutions that provide comprehensive services, including outpatient care, inpatient care, emergency services, and laboratory services. The relationship between leadership and job satisfaction refers to the way a leader influences and directs individuals to collectively achieve organizational goals. The problems identified indicate that some employees still complain about the way leaders handle employee grievances, such as the mismatch between salary and workload and the lengthy process of appointment as permanent employees. This study aims to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and employee job satisfaction at RSUD Otanaha. This research is a quantitative study using an associative approach. The research population consisted of 387 employees, with a sample of 80 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the Spearman Rank correlation statistical test showed a p-value of 0.004 < 0.05, with a correlation coefficient of 0.318, which falls into the low correlation category. The conclusion of this study indicates that employees at RSUD Otanaha are moderately satisfied with transformational leadership. This study recommends that hospital management conduct regular evaluations of employee job satisfaction related to the relationship between leadership and performance.
