Abstract

Masalah malnutrisi secara umum masih mendapat perhatian besar, terutama di beberapa negara berkembang. Masalah nutrisi ini termasuk stunting, dan defisiensi mikronutrien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan, riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan kejadian stunting pada balita di wilayah Stunting Locus Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian dilakukan di 3 wialyah Lokus Stunting yaitu Puskesmas Limboto Barat, Puskesmas Tabongo dan Puskesmas Tibawa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai April 2020. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain observasional analitik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah balita (n = 300). Sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Analisis pengolahan data status gizi menggunakan aplikasi antro plus WHO, dan analisis data menggunakan program SPSS 22 for windows. Analisis data bivariat menggunakan uji kuadrat dengan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara energi, asupan protein dengan kejadian stunting pada anak dengan nilai P = 0,00 <0,005, tidak ada hubungan antara riwayat pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan kejadian stunting dengan P = 0,965 <0,005. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Pemerintah diharapkan dapat menindaklanjuti program prioritas pencegahan stunting pada balita.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the Central Obesity Rate has increased from year to 2007 at 18.8% and in 2013 (26.6%) and in 2018 it reached 31.0 %), Based on the proportion of central obesity in the population aged >15 years according to characteristics. The employment of PNS/TNI/Polri/BUMN/BUMD is at a rate of (48.5%) and for the proportion of central obesity at the age of 15 years by province, Gorontalo is at a rate of (36.6%,). is at the number (31.0%) (Riskesdas, 2018). Based on the initial data collection conducted by researchers at the Limoto Police, Gorontalo district, 19 people out of 50 people were centrally obese (38%) and 15 people were pre-obese (30%) and 15 people were normal (30%). By knowing these facts, it will be investigated further about the description of the incidence of central obesity in members of the police who are at the Limboto police station, Gorontalo district. Objective: To determine the factors associated with the incidence of central obesity in the Limmoto Police, Gorontalo Regency. Methods: The type of research used is descriptive analysis. The population of this research is using total sampling with a sample of 302 respondents at the Limboto Police Station. Results: The results showed that there were 20 people with central obesity (6.6%), sufficient energy intake 189 (62%), sufficient carbohydrate intake 242 (80.1%), adequate protein intake 256 (84.8%), adequate fat intake 282 (93.4%), smoking at risk 219 (72.5%). Suggestion: For the Limboto Police Chief, it is hoped that they will pay more attention to health conditions, especially a regular diet. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of the Mongolato Village community regarding Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), such as hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The implementation was carried out through health education and screening of blood pressure and blood sugar levels in 100 respondents. The method used included a pretest-posttest to evaluate the respondents' understanding before and after education. The results showed an increase in community understanding by 20%, from an initial value of 59% to 79%. In addition, screening showed that 60% of respondents had high blood pressure, and 27% had high blood sugar levels. Education has proven effective in increasing public awareness of risk factors, prevention, and management of NCDs. As a follow-up, it is recommended to carry out routine monitoring and form health-conscious community groups to support sustainable prevention programs. Keywords: : Health education, Non-Communicable Diseases, screening, hypertension, diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Background: The nutritional status of adolescents in Gorontalo Province is based on data. The prevalence of overweight and obesity in the 13-15 year age group is 16%. The prevalence rate of overweight and obesity in the 16-18 year age group reached 12.4%.            The results of the Gorontalo Province Riskesdas in 2018 showed that physical activity in the low category was high, namely 34.0% and obesity based on BMI in the adult group was 24.4% (Indonesian Ministry of Health, 2018). By knowing the facts above, further research will be carried out regarding the determinants of nutritional status in adolescents in Gorontalo.Purpose: The aim of this research is to determine the determinants of nutritional status in adolescents in Gorontalo City.Methods: The type of research used is Observational Analytical with a Cross sectional approach. The population in this research is teenagers in Gorontalo City. In research, the sampling technique is by accidental sampling. This research will be conducted from January to May 2023. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire.Conclusion: The results of this research are that there is a relationship between food intake (carbohydrate intake, protein intake and fat intake with the incidence of nutritional status. There is no relationship between stress levels and physical activity and the incidence of nutritional status. Suggestions provide education to teenagers about the importance of nutritional status.Keywords: Determinant factors, nutritional status, adolescents
