Abstract

Problems with the school environment will be much reduced if students have concerns about the school environment. Students' concern for the environment must be instilled from an early age so that it can be formed from the beginning of receiving an education so that they become more caring and respectful of the environment. Therefore, this research is a classroom action research that aims to analyze the use of green school-based animated video media to increase students' awareness of the environment. The approach used is qualitative. The research subjects were teachers and third-grade students, totaling 20 people. Data collection uses the format of observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed an increase in learning in the use of green school-based animated video media, both in the activities of teachers and students, as well as students' concern for the school environment. This study concludes that teacher-teaching activities and student-learning activities have increased. So that this research can help teachers in choosing media to stimulate students' thinking in increasing environmental awareness.

Abstract

Gangguan spektrum autisme ditandai oleh hambatan dalam interaksi sosial, komunikasi, perilaku berulang, dan respons sensorik yang unik. Kondisi ini menimbulkan tantangan dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga diperlukan strategi khusus dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam mengajar siswa autis serta dampaknya terhadap perkembangan akademik dan karakter siswa di SLB Arnadya Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran berbasis metode ABA, TEACCH, PBS, dan multisensori secara terstruktur, individual, dan konsisten mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kemampuan akademik, serta karakter siswa. Strategi tersebut didukung oleh penggunaan media visual, lingkungan yang terstruktur, dan pendekatan personal. Komitmen, ketegasan, dan pembiasaan menjadi faktor penentu keberhasilan pembelajaran siswa autis di SLB Arnadya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning discipline, curiosity, and the influence of both simultaneously on the learning achievement of students in the subject of science at SDN No. 143 Inpres Topejawa. The approach used is quantitative with an ex-post facto design. The research sample consisted of students selected through simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations, then analyzed using normality tests, linearity tests, multicollinearity tests, linear regression analysis, and F tests. The results showed that learning discipline had a low and insignificant influence on learning achievement in science. On the contrary, curiosity had a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, both variables contributed to improving students' science learning achievement. Thus, it can be concluded that curiosity has a greater role in supporting learning achievement compared to learning discipline.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebaiknya membuka ruang dan menuntun siswa untuk dapat menyukai kembali matematika dengan kemampuan mereka sendiri. Pada kenyataannya, berdasarkan temuan studi yang tealah dilakukan di UPTD SDN 76 Ujungpero, menunjukkan bahwa prestasi akademik siswa pada materi bangun ruang masih rendah. Arah penelitian ini yaitu melihat penerapan model discovery untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa pada materi bangun ruang kelas VI UPTD SDN 76 Ujungpero. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model spiral terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI UPTD SDN 76 Ujungpero. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data yaitu catatan lapangan, dan soal/tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dalam pembelajaran matematika materi bangun ruang terbukti dapat meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa dalam pembelajaran yang tersaji dalam kegiatan siklus I ada 3 siswa atau 20% tuntas dan 12 siswa atau 80% tidak tuntas dan setelah dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran di siklus II maka menghasilkan data bahwa ada 15 siswa atau 100% tuntas.

Abstract

Srianti Tandi Lebang., 2025. The Influence of the VAK Learning Model (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) on IPAS Learning Outcomes in Fifth Grade Students at SDN 4 Rantetayo, Tana Toraja Regency. Thesis. Study Program in Educational Administration with a Specialization in Basic Education, Postgraduate Program, Makassar State University. (supervised by Dr. H. M. Ali Latief, M.Pd. and Dr. Erma Suryani Sahabuddin, M.Si) This study uses an experimental research type with a quantitative research approach aimed at testing a specific theory by examining the extent of the influence of a teaching method (treatment) or variable, which is then analyzed statistically. The independent variable in this study is the use of the VAK (Visual, Audio, Kinesthetic) learning model, while the dependent variable is the students' learning outcomes in IPAS on the topic of the properties of light. The research design used is the nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study consists of all fifth-grade students, while the sample includes class V.A as the experimental group with 17 students and class V.B as the control group with 15 students. The research data were obtained using a learning outcome test on the properties of light in the form of pretest and posttest. The research data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The data analysis technique used was the independent sample t-test. Based on the results of the inferential statistical analysis, a significance (2-tailed) = 0.000 was obtained, which is less than α = 0.05. It can be concluded that the use of the VAK (Visual, Audio, Kinesthetic) learning model has an effect on the IPAS learning outcomes of students at SDN 4 Rantetayo, Tanah Toraja Regency, on the basic material of the properties of light.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in Natural and Social Sciences education to enhance environmental awareness among fifth-grade students at SDIT Wihdatul Ummah in Makassar City. The background of this research stems from the low environmental awareness observed among students, evidenced by behaviors such as littering, lack of concern for energy conservation, and minimal participation in school cleanliness activities. The study aimed to improve students' environmental consciousness by implementing the PjBL model, where students were tasked with creating environmental awareness posters. The research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. The stages of PjBL involved determining essential questions, project planning, scheduling, project implementation, result testing, and evaluation of experiences. Data collection was done through observations, attitude questionnaires, and documentation of student activities. The findings showed that the PjBL model successfully increased students' active participation, creativity in expressing environmental awareness through posters, and their practical actions toward environmental protection. The environmental awareness indicators, such as maintaining cleanliness, managing waste, conserving energy, understanding waste disposal systems, and using cleaning tools, significantly improved from Cycle I to Cycle II. The results indicate that the PjBL model is effective in enhancing environmental awareness while making the learning process more engaging and contextual for elementary school students.
