Abstract

The widespread distribution of cosmetic products that have not been certified halal has raised concerns about the content being dangerous to health and unfit for use because of questionable cleanliness. Likewise, for food and beverage products. On the other hand, the pandemic has significantly impacted people's social behavior, including in the economic sector. Both business actors and consumers tend to carry out their business activities online. As a result, food and beverage products and cosmetics that have not been certified halal can be easily obtained and consumed by the public. The biggest consumers of these two types of products are teenagers and housewives. This service program's role in halal awareness education comes into play. The aim is to build halal awareness in the community, especially teenagers and homemakers in Kedungrejo Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency. The method used is educational activities to increase halal understanding and awareness, as well as creating simple information media to accelerate the dissemination of information about halal products. The output of this service program includes a better level of community empowerment (increased understanding of the counseling participants) as evidenced by the pre-test and post-test given, audio-visual work in the form of videos and a poster, Ayo Aware Halal, which is posted on the information board at the hall office Village. This poster was also handed over to the PKK Cadre community so that it could be copied and reread at home.ABSTRAKBeredar luasnya produk kosmetik yang belum tersertifikasi halal, memunculkan kekhawatiran berupa kandungan yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan, dan tak layak digunakan karena kebersihannya yang diragukan. Demikian juga pada produk makanan dan minuman. Di sisi lain, pandemic memberikan dampak cukup signifikan dalam perilaku sosial masyarakat, termasuk dalam sektor ekonomi. Baik pelaku usaha maupun konsumen cenderung menjalankan aktivitas bisnisnya secara online. Akibatnya, produk makanan dan minuman serta kosmetik yang belum tersertifikasi halal tadi dapat dengan mudah diperoleh dan dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Konsumen terbesar kedua jenis produk ini adalah remaja dan ibu rumah tangga. Di sinilah peran program pengabdian berupa penyuluhan kesadaran halal ini. Tujuannya adalah membangun kesadaran halal masyarakat terutama remaja dan ibu rumah tangga di Desa Kedungrejo Kecamatan Pakis Kabupaten Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kegiatan edukasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran halal serta pembuatan media informasi sederhana untuk mempercepat penyebaran informasi mengenai produk halal. Luaran dari program pengabdian ini diantaranya yaitu tingkat keberdayaan masyarakat yang lebih baik (pemahaman peserta penyuluhan yang meningkat) terbukti dari pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan, karya audio visual berupa video dan sebuah poster Ayo Sadar Halal yang ditempel di papan informasi kantor balai desa. Poster ini juga diserahkan kepada komunitas Kader PKK agar dapat digandakan dan dibaca kembali di rumah.

Abstract

The Sedudut river basin across RT 3 RW 6 Mulyorejo Subdistrict is still not managed well, causing problems such as silting of the river, uneven water flow, environmental pollution, accumulation of rubbish, unpleasant odors and lots of mosquitoes. The aim of community service is to raise awareness among residents and farmer cadets to manage river watersheds to become educational tourism pilots. The method used is community education and advocacy to local governments to create educational tourism targeting residents and farming cadets. The results have been the realization of pioneering educational tourism and institutional strengthening of Sariwongso farmer cadets in managing river watersheds. Support from RT administrators and community leaders increases the involvement of Taruna Tani Sariwangso in managing the Sedudut river basin. The benefits felt by local residents include: the flow of river water is smooth, so there are no piles of rubbish which cause odors and the growth of mosquitoes. The wareng system that has been built has increased from 3 to 5 warengs so that the management of river cleanliness by the residents of RT 3 RW 6 is getting better. The young group of Taruna Tani has been actively pioneering activities in RW6, strengthened by the issuance of the Decree on the Establishment of Taruna Tani which has been ratified by the local RT Head. The number of residents involved previously increased from 4 people to 16 people. The Malang City Government provides support for facilities (fish seeds, feed, harvest nets) and pedestrian infrastructure and fenced bridges to support educational tourism pilots for management of the Sedudut river area.ABSTRAKDaerah aliran sungai Sedudut melintasi RT 3 RW 6 Kelurahan Mulyorejo masih belum dikelola dengan baik sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan seperti pendangkalan sungai, aliran air tidak lancar, pencemaran lingkungan, penumpukan sampah, berbau tidak sedap dan  banyak nyamuk. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran warga dan taruna tani untuk mengelola daerah aliran sungai untuk dijadikan rintisan wisata edukasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan masyarakat dan advokasi kepada pemerintah daerah untuk mewujudkan wisata edukasi dengan sasaran warga dan taruna tani. Hasilnya telah terwujud rintisan wisata edukasi dan penguatan kelembagaan taruna tani Sariwongso dalam mengelola daerah aliran sungai. Dukungan pengurus RT dan tokoh masyarakat menumbuhkan keterlibatan Taruna Tani Sariwangso untuk mengelola daerah aliran sungai Sedudut. Manfaat yang dirasakan warga sekitar, seperti: aliran air sungai lancar, sehingga tidak terjadi tumpukan sampah yang menyebabkan bau dan perkembangan nyamuk. Sistem wareng yang terbangun bertambah dari 3 menjadi 5 wareng sehingga pengelolaan kebersihan sungai oleh warga RT 3 RW 6 semakin baik.  Kelompok muda Taruna Tani telah aktif merintis kegiatan di RW6 diperkuat dengan terbitnya SK Pendirian Taruna Tani yang telah disahkan Ketua RT setempat. Jumlah warga yang terlibat sebelumnya 4 orang menjadi 16 orang. Pemerintah Kota Malang memberikan dukungan sarana (benih ikan, pakan, alat jaring panen) dan prasarana pedesterian dan jembatan berpagar untuk mendukung rintisan wisata edukasi pengelolaan daerah sungai Sedudut.

Abstract

One of the supporting pillars of the economy is the agricultural sector. Various needs in supporting food security, provision of production materials, results of industrial market strategies and sources of human resources and provision of capital for other sectors are fulfilled by the agricultural sector. This research was conducted to examine the perceptions (interests) of the younger generation in the agricultural sector in Sekarpuro Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency. This study used stratified random sampling, namely sampling based on strata. The research data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive method in the form of multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) to analyze the effect of income, capital, family environment (parental point of view), age, education and work environment on perceptions (interest young generation towards agriculture). The research results obtained are that the interest of the young generation is strongly influenced by the parents' point of view, work environment and income. Based on the findings of a study on perceptions of youth interest in the profession of rice farming, a number of 99 young people, it is known that the interest of the younger generation in agriculture strongly agrees 4% disagrees 52.5% normal 38.4% agrees 5.1. The value of 100% is the cumulative value of the sum of 4% + 52.5 % + 38.4 %+5.1% = 100%. Meanwhile, age, capital, education did not influence the perception (interest) of the younger generation in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

CV. Puri Pangan Lestari has implemented effective and proper marketing management, which includes five key stages: planning, organizing, execution, controlling, and evaluation. The planning stage involves formulating strategies for marketing Kayavit jackfruit chips, while organizing entails delegating responsibilities among individuals involved in the marketing process. The execution stage ensures the marketing activities align with the planned strategies, controlling focuses on monitoring marketing activities to maintain alignment with the plans, and evaluation identifies challenges and issues encountered during the marketing management process. Consumer purchasing decisions for Kayavit jackfruit chips are influenced by two main factors. First, socio-cultural factors such as recommendations from peers, product availability, needs, and local habits. Second, personal factors, including financial condition, price, lifestyle, taste, past experiences, and the product's appeal. However, the company faces several challenges in its marketing management, including less strategic store locations, limited use of e-commerce platforms, inadequate promotional efforts, and suboptimal employee performance. To address these challenges, the proposed solutions include selecting busier locations, leveraging e-commerce platforms to enhance consumer accessibility, utilizing social media for broader promotion, and implementing stricter work regulations and clearer responsibility assignments for employees. These measures aim to optimize marketing efforts and increase the brand's market reach.

Abstract

This service aims to improve the skills and knowledge of catfish farmers in the "Tutut Jaya" group related to the use of IoT technology in water quality monitoring. Through the training and implementation of IoT technology, it is expected that farmers can monitor and manage water quality more efficiently, thus increasing the productivity and sustainability of catfish farming. The dedication was carried out at the Catfish Farming Group "Tutut Jaya" in Arjowinangun Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City. The methods used include training, technology implementation, as well as monitoring and mentoring. Training was given to improve fish farmers' understanding of the importance of maintaining stable pH and water temperature. In addition, IoT technology was introduced to monitor water quality in real time, enabling rapid intervention against inappropriate water conditions. Data was obtained through surveys, interviews, and analysis of IoT sensors that measure water pH and temperature. The results of the research show a significant improvement in the quality of pond water, which contributes to the health and growth of catfish. The use of IoT technology also increases operational efficiency, reduces resource consumption, and increases catfish production. Partners show a high level of satisfaction with the application of technology and the training provided. In conclusion, the implementation of IoT technology in water quality monitoring proved to be effective in increasing the success of catfish farming, with the potential to be applied more widely in the fishing industry.

Abstract

Salah satu penopang perekonomian adalah sektor pertanian. Berbagai kebutuhan dalam menunjang ketahanan pangan, penyediaan bahan produksi, strategi pasar hasil industri dan sumber sumber daya manusia serta penyediaan modal pada sektor lainnya dipenuhi oleh sektor pertanian. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi (kepentingan) generasi muda terhadap sektor pertanian di Desa Sekarpuro, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan stratified random sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel berdasarkan strata. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif berupa analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendapatan, modal, lingkungan keluarga (sudut pandang orang tua), umur, pendidikan dan lingkungan kerja. berdasarkan persepsi (ketertarikan generasi muda terhadap pertanian). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah minat generasi muda sangat dipengaruhi oleh cara pandang orang tua, lingkungan kerja dan pendapatan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian persepsi minat generasi muda terhadap profesi petani padi sejumlah 99 generasi muda diketahui minat generasi muda terhadap pertanian sangat setuju 4% tidak setuju 52,5% normal 38,4% setuju 5.1 . Nilai 100% merupakan nilai kumulatif dari penjumlahan 4% + 52.5 % + 38.4 %+5.1% = 100%. Sedangkan umur, modal, pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap persepsi (minat) generasi muda terhadap sektor pertanian.
