Abstract

This study aims to examine the theological meaning of Noah's Ark based on Hebrews 11:7 and analyze its relevance to the faith growth of the GESBA Shaloom Kaima congregation. Noah is portrayed as a righteous and blameless figure entrusted by God to carry out the mission of saving humanity through the construction of Noah's Ark. Due to his faith, Noah and his family were saved from the Flood. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, supported by data collection techniques such as interviews and literature studies. The interviews were conducted in an unstructured manner, allowing the researcher to interview 9 individuals, consisting of 1 pastor, 2 church council members, and 6 congregants, without strict guidelines. Literature studies were used to interpret and gather data from books and journals relevant to this research. The results show that the theological meaning of Noah's Ark significantly influences the faith growth of the GESBA Shaloom Kaima congregation and effectively nurtures the congregation's spiritual life. The study identified several key points related to the theological meaning of Noah's Ark, including a general understanding of the story of Noah's Ark in the Bible, an interpretation of the theological meaning of Noah's Ark from the perspective of Hebrews 11:7, and its relevance when integrated into Christian education and sermon materials. These findings also indicate a connection between the theological meaning of Noah's Ark and the faith growth of the GESBA congregation, including the application of the principles of Noah's Ark in daily life. Therefore, the meaning of Noah's Ark can serve as a guide for the GESBA Shaloom Kaima congregation in building a foundation for their faith growth.

Abstract

The era of education that increasingly demands an increase in the quality of human resources (HR) has positioned teachers as an important component in the learning process. The application of learning methods that are relevant to the demands of the times is needed to encourage the development of students' increasingly complex problem-solving skills. Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers are expected to be able to present a learning environment that is conducive to the development of students' abilities through a contextual and project-based approach. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is one of the learning models that aims to provide real project-based learning experiences to students. This model is based on the principles of Vygotsky's constructivism, which emphasizes the importance of social interaction and collaboration in learning. In the context of PAK learning, project based learning helps students develop critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills, as well as problem-solving abilities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the impact of implementing the project based learning model on improving the problem-solving abilities of grade XI students at SMA Negeri I Kauditan. Data collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving students and Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers show that project based learning has proven effective in developing students' critical and analytical thinking skills. Students feel more confident in facing challenges, more collaborative in working in groups, and more disciplined in completing tasks. Teacher evaluations also confirm that the process of working on a project is as important as the end result, because it can describe the development of students' problem-solving skills as a whole.

Abstract

Kualitas seorang guru dapat dilihat ketika ia mengajar siswa secara efektif dan memberikan kesempatan lebih untuk aktif dalam pelajaran. Tulisan ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak penggunaan model pembelajaran blended learning yang meningkatkan kinerja profesional dosen. Penelitian ini memakai metode kualitatif bercirikan pendekatan deskriptif dan wawancara digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data. Temuan yang penulis dapatkan di lapangan ialah guru-guru di SMP Kristen Permata Hati Manado tidak mengajar secara kreatif, sehingga kurang memberi kontribusi positif bagi siswa. Siswa tidak bersemangat belajar, karena kurang memiliki integritas dan kreativitas dalam mengajar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran yang bersifat kontekstual perlu dilakukan untuk menarik minat siswa, sehingga bisa meraih prestasi belajar terlebih khusus pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Penting bagi guru untuk menjiwai pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen berbasis kontekstual dan kompetensi, serta memiliki strategi yang cocok dalam menididk siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran kompetensi guru PAK dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis digital melalui studi literatur yang menganalisis kompetensi guru, perubahan kurikulum, dan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru PAK mencakup aspek pedagogis, profesional, sosial, dan pribadi yang mendukung efektivitas pembelajaran digital. Selain itu, guru berperan penting dalam membimbing siswa untuk memahami serta mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai Kristen dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, meskipun menggunakan media digital. Selanjutnya, blended learning dipakai untuk mengimplementasikan pada kurikulum merdeka. Kendala utama dalam implementasi kurikulum ini meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan kesenjangan dalam pelatihan guru. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kompetensi digital guru PAK serta penyediaan dukungan teknis yang memadai menjadi faktor utama dalam keberhasilan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis digital dalam pendidikan agama Kristen.

Abstract

Abstract: Life is a long process and requires people who live it to keep moving forward. Jacob's life story is a life story that has experienced many ups and downs in it, but near the end of his life, Jacob even had the opportunity to meet and meet the Pharaoh, the ruler of the world at that time. Suspected turning point in Jacob's life that continues to shine into old age is a moment that tells of him struggling with God which is described very nicely in Genesis 32:22-32. This study intends to frame the story of the struggle of Jacob and God in the understanding of the Pentecostals. By using the description and literature review, it is hoped that it will be able to provide a strong and clear picture regarding the review of important events in Jacob's life, the story of the struggle of Jacob and God, as well as the understanding of the Pentecostals in interpreting this story. It is concluded that in Pentecostal understanding the story of the struggle of Jacob and God is interpreted as the importance of personal experience with God, sincerity of heart, learning to see oneself from God's point of view, and answers to prayer.Abstrak: Hidup adalah sebuah proses panjang dan menuntut orang yang menjalaninya untuk terus bergerak maju. Kisah hidup Yakub adalah sebuah kisah kehidupan yang mengalami berbagai proses jatuh bangun didalamnya namun mendekati akhir hidupnya Yakub malah berkesempatan bertemu dan memberkati Firaun penguasa dunia waktu itu. Ditengarai titik balik dalam kehidupan Yakub yang menjadikannya tetap bersinar hingga usia senja adalah sebuat moment yang mengisahkannya bergumul dengan Allah yang digambarkan sangat apik di Kejadian 32:22-32. Penelitian ini bermaksud membingkai kisah pergumulan Yakub dan Allah ini dari pemahaman kaum Pentakostal. Dengan menggunakan deskripsi dan kajian literatur diharapkan mampu memberikan gambaran yang kuat dan jelas terkait ulasan peristiwa penting dalam kehidupan Yakub, kisah pergumulan Yakub dan Allah, serta pemahaman kaum Pentakostal memaknai kisah ini. Disimbulkan bahwa dalam pemahaman kaum Pentakostal kisah pergumulan Yakub dan Allah ini dimaknai sebagai pentingnya pengalaman pribadi dengan Allah, kesunguhan hati, belajar melihat diri dari sudut pandang Tuhan, serta jawaban doa.

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the implementation of blended learning model to improve pedagogical competence and professional competence of lecturers. The formulation of this research problem is how the implementation of blended learning models can improve the pedagogical competence and professional competence of lecturers? The researcher used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach that involved the participation of lecturers as research subjects. Data were collected through surveys, observations, interviews, and document analysis.  The main objective of this research is to investigate the impact of using blended learning model on improving the pedagogical competence and professionalism of lecturers. The application of the blended learning model had a positive impact on the pedagogical competence and professional competence of lecturers. On the improvement of lecturers pedagogical competence, Blended Learning helps lecturers improve their understanding of the learning process, mastery of learning technology and how to prepare effective learning by improving the ability to design interesting and relevant teaching materials, as well as the ability to deliver materials more interactively. The improvement of lecturers professional competence can also be reflected in the promotion of lecturers academic positions, lecturers publications in accredited national and even reputable international journals and extensive community service.Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas implementasi model pembelajaran blended learning untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional dosen. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi model pembelajaran blended learning dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional dosen? Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang melibatkan partisipasi dosen sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei, observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen.  Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi dampak penggunaan model pembelajaran blended learning terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesionalisme dosen. Dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Blended Learning memberi dampak positif pada kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional dosen. Pada peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik dosen, Blended Learning membantu dosen meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang proses pembelajaran, penguasaan teknologi pembelajaran dan bagaimana mempersiapkan pembelajaran yang efektif dengan peningkatan kemampuan merancang bahan ajar yang menarik dan relevan, serta kemampuan menyampaikan materi dengan lebih interaktif. Peningkatan kompetensi profesional dosen dapat tergambar juga pada kenaikan pangkat jabatan akademik dosen, publikasi dosen pada jurnal nasional terakreditas bahkan internasional bereputasi serta pengabdian masyarakat secara luas.
